If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat on the coast with striking sea views, Sunset View is your perfect match. Located right on the promenade in Whitby, this impressive apartment provides the perfect base for exploring the seaside town and the rest of North Yorkshire. Sunset View is packed with character and personality. Not to mention, the property also boasts incredible, unrivalled sea views!
The space
The spacious living area features a stunning fireplace with teal coloured tiles and a vintage style mirror above. There is a leather corner sofa in chocolate brown which is complimented perfectly with a tan leather bucket style chair. The ideal place for relaxing, switch on the TV to catch up on your favourite shows on SKY or settle down with a good book.

Light streams in from the huge windows which face out onto the promenade. Long curtains frame it perfectly and if you lay on the blue and white striped sofa, you can gaze up at the high ceiling where the mezzanine floor floats above.

To the right, you’ll find the dining area and kitchen. With a large traditional dining table and seating for up to 5, this space is ideal for entertaining. With an open plan feel, you can chat from the dining area to the kitchen making it a really sociable space. Perfect for family breakfasts or evening meals with friends, this is a great place within the apartment for spending time with loved ones.

The kitchen is quirky and fun. The light blue kitchen cabinets have a vintage feel and work perfectly with the oxblood coloured oven and matching appliances. There is a super retro splashback in-keeping with the style of the room. The kitchen is also practical as well as stylish, as it is fully equipped with a hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Head upstairs and you’ll find two en suite bedrooms. The first bedroom overlooks the living room below and has lovely views from the tall window facing out onto the promenade. Featuring a comfy King size bed and ample storage space, this room is perfect for staycations. You’ll also notice quirky accessories such as the statement print above the bed and traditional hats on the wall. The en suite boasts a spacious walk in shower, WC and basin.

With two comfortable single beds, the second bedroom is perfect for children and teenagers. The space features plenty of natural light from the four large windows and a corner sofa so you can look out at the views. There is a seaside feel to the room as bunting hangs on the walls and there are pops of colour found in the soft furnishings. The room is complete with a vintage style dresser and a summer hat mounted above. The en suite has a basin, WC and unique bathtub.

There is also a separate WC found on the ground floor.

Guests have access to the full apartment. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

A lovely apartment in a great location for exploring Whitby on foot. The private parking space right next to the apartment was a great addition as parking can be difficult in Whitby. The apartment looks right over the sea which was wonderful. Super dog friendly and the enclosed front yard was a great addition for the dogs. The apartment is really spacious and light, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The bath is fabulous and the amenities on offer were great. The cleaning could have perhaps been a bit more thorough but it was a good standard. There aren’t many windows that open so may be warm in the summer but was lovely in November. The above property was quite loud but there was only someone up there on our final night so it wasn’t too much of an issue, however I do think it may be an issue for people if they had people above their whole stay. Other than that it was wonderful. We would stay again, the location is perfect and we had a great stay, thanks very much!

Amazing apartment in an outstanding location- ideal for walking the dog. Loved the stand alone bath - just added a bit of pure luxury to my holiday x Thinking of booking for next year as we enjoyed our stay so much x

My 2 friends and I stayed at Sea View. We were so pleased with the apartment. The views were lovely from downstairs, across the road to the sea. The apartment was spotlessly clean with fresh bedding and towels. The description on Air BnB does not do the apartment justice. One of the best places I have stayed in Whitby, and I have been visiting for 20 years plus. We felt right at home immediately on arrival. We are looking to stay again very soon. I will Highly recommend to friends and family, and anyone reading my review. Thank you for a lovely stay in this lovely apartment. The location is just right, snd car parking right outside in a safe parking space, a definite bonus .

Great location, just what we wanted. Great space inside and lovely patio. Only downside was noise from upstairs resident, wooden floors meant you heard every step...but didn't stop us enjoying our stay.
