A wonderful place to stay in Saltburn, perfect for solo travelers or couples. It was tidy, well kept and the location was absolutely perfect! Communication with the host was easy and they were responsive and happy to help make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would definitely stay again!

Good value for the money just about everything you need and clean. Would have been nice to have a kitchen roll and more than one teaspoon but these are small niggles and we would recommend the accommodation and stay there again

everything what needed was provided, great location, apartment looks like on pictures, some issues with cleanliness, microvawe dirty, lots of dust, no personal touches for customers, some things used in half (washing liquid, toilet tissue) after all would recommend

Clean and modern place in a good location, close to seafront, shops, train station and places to eat. Contained everything you need, iron, hairdryer, small airfryer. Bed was very comfy. There was noise from neighbouring pod which you can expect from a place like this and bears no reflection on my review or the host.

Great location, by all the bars and eating places, also close to the water front. On street parking directly outside the property with more on the streets leading onto Milton Street. The studio pod was clean and well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay.

This flat is in a great location. A very short walk away is a supermarket, independent shops and the beach! The bed was so comfortable and lovely clean sheets.. reminded me of a hotel bed. There were excellent kitchen facilities and tv. The only thing was there was dust on skirting boards in the bathroom and the shower wasn’t great. However, we enjoyed a comfortable stay here and would book again when we next visit Saltburn.

We have stayed in the Studio Pods on several occasions and have always been impressed by them. On this occasion there were a few things that were not so good but they are easy things to rectify and I feel confident that I won't have these issues when I stay there again.

Attractive and comfortable accommodation in a really convenient location. Parked right outside, yet close to the seafront. Walked from the house to the front and along the cliffs - superb! Great bars and restaurants in the same street too, and big Sainsbury’s over the road. Great base for exploring the North Yorkshire coast.

Flat has been advertised on AirBnb to be equipped with washing machine and that was one of the main reasons why I made booking. Apparently, there is no washing machine in the property and when I pointed this out to landlord they offered to find laundry for me without any explanation why information on AirBnb was misleading. As I work as a contractor near by and was staying in the property for 3 weeks I had to waist my time and money to go to local laundry to wash my clothes. For all of those reasons I’ve requested refund from landlord (Host&Stay) but they simply ignored this. Only when I send complaint to AirBnb they‘be finally reacted and offered me compensation. Be aware of this landlord as the are not trying to be proactive and to help their guests.

Things I liked: The flat was as described. I didn't use many of the kitchen facilities, but they looked great, smart and modern. Milk, coffee machine with pods were provided which was most welcome. The bathroom was fine. Apart from a slightly scruffy carpet by the bed, the room had been cleaned to a high standard. I felt comfortable there. Things I didn't like: Noise from neighbouring areas affected me but I had brought earplugs to mitigate. Also I used eye shades as the window blinds didn't block out enough light. The windows are all frosted glass, so there are no views at all from the flat. The biggest issue I had was the additional and unexpected charge, and wasted time in responding to excessive numbers of messages and making a payment, for damage protection cover - all for a 2 night stay. Details of the additional charge were well hidden in the listing and I was not aware that hosts were able to opt out of Airbnb's general damage policy until now. Therefore I won't be using

The studio itself was nice - clean and serviceable and near where we needed it to be. However, prior to booking I asked Charlie, the host whether the studio was on the ground floor, as my partner had mobility issues. I was assured that both of his properties - Pod 2 and Pod 3 were ground floor. So…I booked it. We arrived at the property and entered and saw the studio was on the first floor with, I think 13 stairs. My partner really struggled. We stayed 2 nights but he could only go up and downstairs once per day so if we went out for the day - we had to stay out for the evening. Host & Stay were not helpful - at all. I called them, they assured me they would call back and they never did the whole 3 days. The conversation I had with the host via messages completely disappeared on Air B&B, so I had no proof. The host (Charlie), who I only spoke to 10 days ago denied all knowledge and said he wanted to sort things out before I left a bad review - then never contacted me!! Appalling!

I recently stayed at this Airbnb and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location was great, with easy access to nearby shops, the train station and close access to the sea. The host provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. I would definitely consider staying here again for its convenience and reasonable pricing.

There was only one problem with this apartment which was disappointing as the location, decor and amenities were good. Unfortunately, as you find in a lot of similar style properties there is very little soundproofing. Given the wood/laminate floor throughout the bathroom and kitchen area we could hear every footstep, chair move, bed creaking from the upstairs apartment. We may have been unlucky with occupants upstairs moving around a lot and until the early hours but it's something to consider.

Apartment was very well equipped and the kitchen and bathroom very clean. Just a few snags, the toilet seat was loose and the bathroom blind didn't work also the plinth on the sink unit in the bathroom was broken, pedal bin in kitchen had a broken pedal and the bedroom area hadn't been vacuumed. After having to pay £250 deposit for breakages you worry that you will be charged for the loose toilet seat etc.

Enjoyed our stay had a small issue at start but this was sorted out very quickly and once sorted we enjoyed our stay very close to the beach and the room had everything we needed very impressed really enjoyed

Ideally situated especially as we travelled by train. The station was two minutes walk away. Near to restaurants & shops and the beach & valley gardens nearby. The studio pod was clean, comfortable and warm. Communication regards the stay was informative & detailed although a little over the top regards the amount of repetitive messages/ e mails. My only criticism as raised by other reviewers is the hidden costs. £250 deposit or insurance cover is quite excessive.

Great accommodation and in a convenient location. I agree with other reviews that you can hear when people in the flat upstairs are moving around but this wasn't a big issue for us.

Studio Pod 2 was perfect for what I needed. Easy parking, close to the town and the beach. Few shops nearby The area is dead quiet, the room was well-equipped and cosy. Very enjoyable stay. The only issues I had were with Host & Stay themselves.

Fantastic room, fantastic stay. Messages throughout to ensure there were no issues and to remind us of our departure times. Really impressed with these. Lovely recently opened studio with very comfy bed. Superb accommodation in idea location. With all that was needs for a short break. Clean and bright. Free on street parking right outside the property. A short walk from bars and eateries for a evening meal and drink after spending the day on the beach or walking the lovely coastal paths.
