Head to the kitchen and you’ll find all of the essential appliances that you need to ensure that guests can make the most of their self-catering stay at Sleepers @ No.8. With cream cupboards and wooden work-tops, this space perfectly mixes modern and traditional.
You can enjoy your evening meal in a second living area with a dining table. With a sofa also available for use, guests are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding relaxing spaces during their stay at Sleepers @ No.8. From this room is where you can access the outdoor space that the property has to boast about. With a table and chairs, this area is ideal for taking in the fresh North Yorkshire air, or eating alfresco in the warmer months.
In the bedroom, you’ll find a plush double bed. With premium bed linens, guests are guaranteed a great night’s sleep at Sleepers @ No.8. This tranquil space also boasts a dressing table.

We had a lovely stay and overall were very pleased. Our only negative points were the fact that aside from the flat being very clean, sadly the shower edge was yellow with muck which I cleaned myself on arrival as we wouldn’t have wanted to shower in such a dirty edged tray. Also the bare essentials were very sparse, including an empty washing up liquid bottle and a tiny milk sachet. Seeing as the flat is over the top of a tea shop, it would have been a nice touch to have a pint of milk and maybe a packet of biscuits.. would cost the owners pennies but would have made such a nice welcome. We would definitely love to return and hope these small points would be considered to make the stay a full five star rating. Beautiful town and great location. Loved the layout and the patio area. Can highly recommend the Italian restaurant at the top of the town and the cakes from the shop downstairs were fabulous.. thanks again for a lovely stay.

Great location for trips to the beach and exploring the nearby villages. The Airbnb itself was modern, clean, and very well laid out, loved the roll-top bath! There were just a couple of minor issues during our stay, such as part of the oven not working and the toilet flush being a bit unreliable. We also would have appreciated a few more basic supplies, like a sponge, extra cloths, and additional toilet roll, as one roll for a 3–4 day stay may not be enough for all guests. Overall, we had a really nice stay, just a few small improvements would make it even better.

Beautiful flat above a lovely teashop. Only issue was parking which is free only at night but between the hours of 8am-6pm we had to park by the castle. This was ony an issue as it was uphill, a 10 min walk and my elderly husband found this a little difficult. The flat itself was nicer than in the photos with a great terrace outside. Easy access to the high street and local pubs and restaurants and there is also a Co-Op and Lidl 5 mins away which was very helpful to buy tea & milk etc
