EVERYTHING!! From our warm welcome everything was perfect. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The farm house was clean, tidy and welcoming. The hot tub is checked twice a day and incredibly clean. We were very sad to leave and will return.

We had a lovely stay in this gorgeous location. The owners were friendly and welcoming when we arrived, even provided dog treats and a dog blanket when they met our golden retriever. The cottage was clean, tidy, comfortable and flooded with natural light. The welcome gifts were a kind addition. The enclosed garden and extra paddock for dog play gave us extra peace of mind for the dog. The hot tub was a new experience for our kids, which we all loved. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean. All round successful stay!

The beds aren’t very comfortable, you can feel the springs as you roll over - especially in the single beds (in both rooms).

It would also be nice to have some padding for the wooden benches as the chairs aren’t very comfortable to stay outside.

We had a wonderful few days staying at The Byre, Low Waupley Farm. The hosts greeted us on arrival and were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was just as described, extremely clean and well equipped with everything one could need including a well stocked welcome tray and there was even a pot of dog biscuits and a blanket for our dog.
We can definitely recommend The Byre and hope to return in the near future.

Highly recommend this charming, secluded little getaway spot. The location is idyllic, and a great base to explore the nearby coast. Really enjoyed our stay here, we were greeted when we arrived which made us feel at home straightaway. It had everything we needed for a getaway with our pooch, really appreciated the enclosed garden and nearby field so she could have a run around! Hot tub was warm when we arrived and felt private allowing us to soak in the views in peace!

We stayed here with our two springers and the cottage was beautiful, so clean! We were given a blanket and biscuits for the pups on arrival which was so lovely.
The location was also perfect, only a 15/20minute drive to the coast, lots of walks even closer. We had such a wonderful time, would definitely recommend 😄

Beautiful converted Hayloft. Really well decorated and designed. 3 good sized bedrooms and all beds comfortable with crisp white bedding. Comfortable lounge with 2 large sofas. Wood burner was a great bonus. Kitchen was functional and clean. Excellent quality equipment. Private garden for cottage with hot tub.

Fantastic place, which is exactly like the pictures. Equipped with everything you need and more, the home is peaceful and the hosts are great. I highly recommend staying here.
My only gripe is having to put down a damage deposit outside Airbnb. Appreciate why it’s used, but I would prefer to not do it.

Simply the Byre has everything needed for a great stay. Friendly owners who greeted us, top class fittings, 2 lovely bedrooms, 2 lovely bathrooms and top of the range hot tub.Only 20 mins from Whitby, Staithes and Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

I booked this stay for my partners birthday and we weren't disappointed. Such a lovely cottage, We could have quite happily of stayed a fortnight! Beautiful surroundings and so peaceful.
Watching the sun set from the hot tub in the evening was amazing.
Also the night little touches from. the hosts, like the bottle of fizz, made it all the more special.
I have recommended this stay to quite a lot of my friends and I can happily say, we will be back!

Had the perfect couple of days away. The house was lovely and clean and the extra added details were perfect! Greeted on arrival by the hosts to be given blanket and treats for our dog and they had already put the heating on for us!

The Byre is a great place to stay! The barn is beautifully fitted out, with everything you could need and more. As it is not in walking distance of any shops the few welcome items were a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Everything is well thought out and the place is spotless. It’s the perfect escape for some much needed rest and relaxation and the hot tub is a great addition. The only minor critique would be we wished the check in was early (or the check out was later) as it’s quite late and we would just have wanted to spend longer in this beautiful place! We will definitely be back soon!

Would not use or recommend Host And Stay again. The deliberate hidden cost which is not explained till you've already paid, then you get an email with damage waiver 24hrs later.
Any decent company would make this clear before you pay the full amount.
Never had this trouble with using Airbnb before.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Both us and our dog were made to feel very welcome on arrival, with the host meeting us as we arrived with some dog treats and a blanket for her. There were several treats inside for us too, including a bottle of prosecco which was much appreciated. The log burner was so cosy and was a big hit with our lazy basset hound. We loved spending time in the hot tub in it's beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

The host met us at the door and was really welcoming and friendly, and even let us know about the sticky front door.
The place itself was cozy and big enough for us. The hot tub was in a great location and gave you an amazing view of the night sky.

Quite possibly the cleanest air b&b I’ve stayed at - it was spotless! Upon arrival we were met by the host who provided us with dog treats and a blanket and informed us that the hot tub was already on and what time they would be checking it the rest of the stay.
Inside we were met with a welcome basket - with lovely items and in the fridge a bottle of Prosecco! Under the sink was a box full of dog essentials also!
The whole place was well equipped the kitchen had everything you’d want, plus the rest of the house really had had thought put into making it pet (and child) friendly without it being obvious. The tv worked great, there was lots of games and books etc too.
The garden was great for dogs - we have two medium - large dogs and there was no worries about them getting out. There was a dog bin in the garden itself too.
The hot tub was private and really nice - and it was amazing sat in there looking up at a clear night sky with the stars!
All in all a perfect air bnb stay!

Nothing about the hosts/property. Host & Stay are a little off-putting. £250 security deposit required (£10 retained for admin) or £25 insurance. I imagine most will opt to pay £25 insurance - I would have preferred to have this included in the booking made with booking.com. I opted to pay a little extra with booking.com to include free cancellation up to 2 days before, but was hounded by Host & Stay for the deposit or insurance upon immediately placing the booking. This sort of took away peace of mind we could cancel without losing out.

We stayed at The Byre for 7 days and we enjoyed every single day. On first entering the property we immediatey realised we had made a great choice. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. The hosts, Kelvin and Amanda were very warm and welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. They had left us a chilled bottle of Prosecco along with tea, coffee, sugar, a loaf of bread and three pieces of lovely cake. We took our three small dogs along (chihuahuas) and they loved the garden area, it was completely secure and and safe.
The hot tub was an added bonus, it was immaculately clean and was cleaned and tested every morning by Amanda and Kelvin. It was also very warm.
Every room was pristine, we were very very impressed. Everything that you could possibly wish for was catered for at The Byre. We cooked a meal one night and had everything we needed and sat outside and enjoyed a glass of wine or two.
We will definitely be returning in 2024!. Many thanks.

Amanda and Kelvin were very friendly and greeted us on our arrival, everything was top notch with the Byre.
The accommodation was spotless and there was everything that you would need when staying away from home, the hot tub was a great bonus!
The Byre is very dog friendly with a secure garden and walks from the farm.
Lastly a great welcome tray with local goodies.
Looking for somewhere to stay in this area then we would highly recommend Low Waupley Farm.

We loved everything about our holiday. The location is fantastic and is so quiet. Low Waupley Farm I a stunning farmhouse. Everything was provided (we brought everything from home thinking we would need it) but Amanda and Kelvin the owners had provided everything from some amazing baked goods, fresh farm milk to leashes, water and food bowls, towels and brushes for the dog.

There was also spare batteries for the torches that were in the top drawers of every side cabinet. There were also guide maps for walks in the moors around the farm, compass, binoculars and bird books which my daughter loved.

The property was super clean and every utensil is thought of. There is a information folder for every bit of equipment including the boiler and hot tub and local information for public transport to chippies and pubs.

Absolutely loved our stay at Low Waupley, wish we had booked for 2 weeks.

A definite must if you are looking for a quiet relaxing time away.

We cannot fault a single thing at Low Waupley. Amanda and Kelvin have everything catered for and thought of. They are amazing hosts. 10/10 for everything.

We really enjoyed staying at The Byre for 2 weeks. What a treat. The owners welcomed us when we arrived and had dog treats and a dog blanket in hand. The accommodation was spotless and there was a very generous welcome tray for us. The location is perfect for exploring so many places: Staithes, Saltburn, Whitby, Sandsend as well as a drive in to York one day. We found the people in Yorkshire to be so friendly and the hot tub was used every evening. Excellent facilities to cook in every day and we had a Sainsburys food shop delivered each week. There is a key in the accommodation for the laundry room which operates an honesty box system for putting a wash on - really useful after the beach. The farm is so quiet. The holiday has been so relaxing!

The Byre at Low Waupley Farm was an amazing place to stay. Our 2 nights were peaceful and relaxing in such an idyllic setting. Despite being on a working farm, it was so quiet and relaxing. The property is first class, immaculately finished and decorated to such a high standard. The old traditional look and feel stone floors, and open truss roof are beautiful. The amenities and items included are great giving you everything you need. The hot tub is also a great selling point! If you want to explore, whitby or saltburn are less than 30 mins away. We would definitely recommend and will stay again at somepoint in the future. 10/10!

We had a great time staying at The Byre. Everything has been so well thought out, right down to the very last detail. We had everything we needed (plus more besides) and this really felt like a home from home. We had our daughter with us who’s only just over a year and a half and we found The Byre to be toddler friendly with some kitchen cupboard locks, electrical socket covers and a good quality high chair, and this helped us to relax a bit more as we knew she was safe. Amanda and Kelvin were also very friendly and greeted us on our arrival, and although we didn’t need to call on them for anything we felt that nothing was too much trouble at all.

The farm cottage had been refurbished to a really high standard and was immaculate. It was very comfortable and everything had been thought of from board games, books, wifi and smart tv. The kitchen was well equipped and dog / child friendly. The hot was great to relax in. The owners have a great set up and should be super proud of how it has turned out.

Nothing. To be super critical the only thing could be improved would be to have a retractable washing line to dry towels / costumes near hot tub and outdoor cushions for the seating area.

Friendly welcome from the hosts, who have really thought about everything in the Byre, and the standard is very much quality and luxury. It was spotlessly clean and has everything you need. The "welcome tray" was a lovely gesture and very appreciated. Located slightly off the beaten track, kind of in the middle of nowhere but only 15 minutes from Whitby and Saltburn on the sea, so total peace and relaxation which is what we wanted. The private hot tub was lovely and we made the most of it. We honestly could not fault a thing, and will definitely return.

We had a fabulous weekend at The Byre. The accommodation was lovely and clean with a well equipped kitchen. The location is really peaceful and quiet, with many walks either from the door or a short drive away.
The hosts were friendly but unobtrusive and left a generous welcome pack. Hot tub is brilliant and really spacious - easily accommodation 4 adults. The only slight negative is the lack of bathrobes or extra towels for the hot tub. You are asked to shower before using the tub, but as we only has one towel each, this was wet when we came to get out of the tub and then shower again. All in all highly recommended.

Just returned home from an amazing long weekend at The Byrne! I can’t even put into words how perfect the accommodation was for us all. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, cosy weekend! The hosts were great and even met us on arrival with a blanket for the dogs and some treats! Well equipped kitchen and the log burner was an added bonus! Wifi was great which meant we could watch Christmas films on the smart tv (no problems with buffering etc). The hot tub was plenty big enough for 4 and loved the pergola with the curtains and lights around! We have recommended to all our family and friends and will certainly be returning in the new year! Amazing weekend ❤️

We had such an amazing girls weekend with our dogs. Such a stunning secluded location and brilliant spot for the dogs to enjoy! Hot tub was a treat and the whole decor was so lovely and modern. Only issue was an early check out but that’s more because we wanted to have longer there. Host’s were lovely! Hearting turned on for our arrival and gave us treats for the dogs. Dogs were a bit of a pain barking but they were more than understanding. Can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

Absolutely immaculate, it felt like we were the first people to stay there. Hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings that felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but not far from Saltburn by the Sea and Whitby

Beautiful little cottage very clean with everything you need, bed are super comfortable. The hot tub was excellent hosts where the to greet us with welcome gift and the hot tub was ready. Amazing place will definitely stay again

Beautiful cottage, very well appointed, the hot tub was amazing! Amanda and Kelvin greeted us on arrival and couldn't have been more helpful. We look forward to returning and staying for longer.

Our two night stay was absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have asked for more i.e. very clean, tidy and equipped place, in a great peaceful location, it couldn’t have been cosier and as everyone else has said.. the hot tub is a fantastic touch!
This place would be a perfect stay all year around come rain or shine.
The hosts are lovely and so, SO accommodating.
We can’t wait to come back!

Really enjoyed the stay here, the attention to detail was to a high standard- the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We were greeted at check in which was welcoming and they gave us a blanket and treats for our dog which was a lovely thought! The location of the cottage is ideal if you want quiet and relaxing stay. The cottage was spotless and would definitely stay here again for longer! We enjoyed the hot tub just wish we had more time to enjoy it. Great stay, thank you

Really enjoyed our stay here. The Byre was a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage was well equipped, very clean and tidy, with information provided for everything we could possible want to know. Extra little touches like fresh bread and milk, and a bottle of prosecco really added to the experience. The Hot-tub was great, always warm and allowed an evening of stargazing in the dark skies above. Sadly the only problem was we only booked two nights and could have stayed for more!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Byre. The host has really thought of everything and the finish was to such a high standard. If you just want to get away from it all, or you want a fabulous base to explore the local area then this place is worth booking. The host welcomed my entire family, including our dog, with warmth and a friendly manor. Would sincerely recommend. Gorgeous property, and the hot tub was a lovely touch!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Byre. Possibly the best Air B & B I've stayed in.

Location is great, secluded and quiet with lovely views and easy to get to plenty of places (Whitby, Saltburn, Moors).

Everything looked brand new and was absolutely spotless. The hot tub was a real treat too. The hosts have thought of everything.

Lovely hamper upon arrival even a little jar of doggy treats for our pooch.

Wish we'd booked for longer. Would highly recommend.

We have had the most perfect stay at the Low Waupley Farm. Everything from the location, well equipped cottage, very accommodating hosts to the most relaxing hot tub was exactly what we needed. The place is stunning and it’s got everything we needed for us and our pup. Saltburn by the sea is 20 mins drive and it offers great places to eat, beautiful beach for walks with a dog and overall really chilled vibes with lovely people all around. Thank you guys for having us - Weronika, Chris and Piper.

Luxury rural barn conversion. Spotlessly clean and very well stocked - everything looked brand new! Fairly remote (car definitely required) but well located for visiting Whitby, Saltburn, and the Moors. Hot tub was a nice feature. Perfect for our family of 4.

Beautiful cottage, spotless...the place looked brand new. Also lovely hosts. Perfectly situated to enjoy places like Whitby and Staithes.
The whole family enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day 😊

Really enjoyed our stay with our 18 month toddler in tow. Has everything you need with the added bonus of a hottub for when the kids are asleep.
Great base to explore the yorkshire coast, with runswick bay/sandsend & saltburn by the sea all within a short drive.

Would definitely stay again if we are ever exploring this part of the world again

The place is beautiful and the countryside is amazing. I wish we have stayed for longer. Although it feels as it is on the middle on nowhere, it is only short driving distance to shops and local pubs.
