We had a lovely stay - great location and lovely apartment. Really nice to have an outdoor area also. One issue would be that there is a street lamp right outside the bedroom window, and not very good blinds, so the room was very bright at night and quite difficult to sleep. The TV and coffee machine also weren’t working which was a shame. We still had a lovely stay though.

We were absolutely delighted with the apartment . It was close to all amenities, near to the beach and very comfortable. The host and stay team were excellent with their communication. We would definitely visit again. Very good value for money 😄

We had a lovely weekend staying at Riftswood. The flat was clean, modern, and well-equipped. It was also ideally situated, just up from the beach, and close to a number of excellent restaurants (we ate at Alessi's and Coco and Rum, and would recommend both highly) and bars (Signals, The Sitting Room and The Ship Inn being our favourites). Saltburn is a lovely little place, and Riftswood was the ideal base from which to explore it. Thanks very much!

We had a very relaxing time Dales place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped the bedroom comfortable and the bathroom was excellent and shower was easy to use. The accommodation location was close to the rail station, shops, and restaurants as well as the sea and beach. Finding the accommodation was no problem and getting access and checking in was stress free. Dale took the trouble to keep in contact so would have been comfortable contacting should the need have arisen ( which it didn't). Highly recommended.

Exceptional stay, everything was as shown in the photos and described. Comfortable surroundings and very peaceful. It was very close to local amenities. My only suggestion would be to have a non stick pan, the only frying pan available made it very difficult to cook.

The bath was broken and unusable. Broken fire alarm on arrival. Incessant beeping. Eventually had to climb on a rickety table to unplug it as couldn't sleep otherwise. Health & Safety issue. Poor kitchen provisions, no scissors, no measuring jug, really old and mismatched everything really. Such a shame. Sadly, this host uses bots to communicate. So although the bot promised help immediately, no human checked in properly, nothing was fixed and we were sent round in circles for the entire stay. Very obvious the place has been done up on a low budget to rent out and has been completely uncared for since. Peeling paint & dirty walls in most rooms etc. Location is great, flat is a good size, it's quiet. So sorry to have to leave such an awful review, but the bath was required for medical reasons and the host never even bothered to check in - as a human being would have had empathy for such a situation. Even offered to move as this company has multiple properties & they did nothing.

Great location for the beach , dog walking and sunsets and sun rise. The front door lock to the flat is sticking so I would suggest a repair but the place had everything you will need .

Fantastic Location Beautiful place Very pleased No criticism but would suggest a bathroom mirror would be handy. Will be repeat booking the same house when we eventually return to Saltburn. Highly recommend 😁

A lovely place, fantastic location, recently redecorated so it looks smart. Lettings company are ok- they were really quick to sort out a problem with the heating, although communication about deposit, ID check and check-in was a bit confusing.

The apartment has the basics for a short stay. The bed was very hard & uncomfortable we hardly slept the first night so went out & bought a mattress topper which helped. The bedroom is so bright at night with a street lamp right outside shining in & the blinds aren’t any use at all long office type blinds that let in all the light. Blinds need to be shut all day for privacy as people can see straight in from the street. Sofa was also rock hard not comfortable at all. Floor tiles broken in the bathroom we had to cover the broken floor with a towel as the tiles were sharpe under foot. This wasn’t somewhere we’d stay again. Location to beach wonderful & great little local shops for anything you need, all 2 mins away. The beach is beautiful & local people are so kind,

Lovely cosy apartment in great location, easy to walk to bars and restaurants as well as the beach, perfect! Parking right outside the door was an added bonus. Only slight criticism would be the bathroom tiles which need repairing, but I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to staying again!

Second stay in this appartment- really nice place, excellent location! Hosts were very quick to respond to any queires. However, the process of securing the booking by paying an extra fee to a third-party company (which I didn't have to do for my last stay here) was very complicated and did not go smoothly. Would have been better had they used airbnb's own cover.

All in walking distance to the beach front ,shops and amenities.Nice and peaceful location.Lovely old Victorian place with lots of history.Great place to relax and unwind.Definitely will be going back for another visit.

Had a lovely break @ Ruby . Would definitely recommend as its modern , clean and homely . Bed was so comfortable and power shower was fab . Great base to travel round the near by beaches & villages of Whitby Marske , Scarborough, Robin Hoods bay .

Nicely furnished flat, ideal for a mini break. Comfy bed and sofa. Coffee, tea and milk provided which was welcomed. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky if it’s high season. Steep steps to outside yard, but very useful for dogs.

apartment very clean and comfortable. close to seafront and shops. overall ok to stay for a long weekend. just be aware the bedroom does not have curtain or black out blind just a vertical blind so is not very dark to sleep. decent places to eat in Saltburn within walking distance

We really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, parking on the street was straight forward and the location was excellent. It's 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the shops. The apartment was super clean and had excellent facilities. The blinds in the bedroom were an issue as they didn't fully cover the window and they offered no filter from the street light or daylight.

Lovely clean flat with outside area, ideal if you have a dog. Take a dressing gown with you as you have to walk past a window with no curtains on the way back from the bathroom to the bedroom. If you like your bedroom really dark to sleep, take an eye mask as it’s quite bright. Also the coffee machine advertised doesn’t have the correct pods for it so don’t expect a coffee when you arrive! All in all a great place to stay in a fab location.

Very lovely little apartment by the sea which our little dog loved too. It has everthing you might need and is comfortable. Great night's sleep, very quiet, brilliantly situated for all the bars, cute shops and the beach too. Easy to park anywhere and hosts were quick to respond. The blinds in the bedroom aren't very thick though so would recommend an eye mask!

Spacious flat with all modern facilities. Very quiet road with beach 5 min walk at bottom of road. Train station at top of road and local shops and supermarket by station. All walking distance. Parking on road outside property. Very clean throughout and nice to have a little courtyard to rear with doors from lounge and kitchen to it be great in summer to sit for morning coffee.

Fabulous little flat, decorating stylishly and with more than everything you will need for you stay. We lit the fire one evening (not because the flat was cold - it’s centrally heated) which made it especially cosy. Great location for the beach, with some lovely walks to be had.
