An immaculate property, loved the attention to detail. Superb comfy beds in good sized bedrooms. A lovely sociable house, it my wife’s 70th birthday and we were there with our kids and grandkids and it worked well for all age groups. We will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Harold Villa was exactly as the pictures show. It was clean and well stocked with what we would need. The location of this house is just perfect, everything walkable and easy to find. The house itself took us longer to find initially than expected. This was just because of the layout of Whitby’s roads (we still aren’t sure if they were actually one way but they appeared to be from road markings). Our advice is to enter by travelling along Upgang Lane to crescent Avenue and John street. Once there, 4 small cars or 3 larger fit on the drive. The lock box was easy to locate and keys easy to use. In the house was a chest full of children’s toys and a lovely little dolls house (our 2yr old was in her element). There were also some books and games for older children and adults. Kitchen was well stocked with table-wear for adults and children. Beds clean and comfortable. Some of our group found the birds in the early hours were very loud - bring earplugs. We had a fab stay!

This is a lovely large property very well located just on the edge of Whitby town centre with the added bonus of onsite parking. The interior is amazing with a conservatory, huge kitchen, lounge and very spacious en-suite bedrooms on each of the 3 floors. The property was spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully presented throughout in terms of the fixtures and fittings. The rental cost is on the high side but if several families shared the costs this would then represent decent value for such a beautiful house
