The space
Puffins Rest has a bright and cosy living area with two comfy sofas and a large window flooding the room with light. Fully equipped for self-catering staycations, the kitchen diner has everything you could need to prepare and enjoy meals together, and there is even cutlery and dishes for children available. You’ll also find a cosy log burner in the space.Outside you’ll find an enclosed, south facing patio area. There is wrap around secure decking with a south east and west facing terrace allowing daylong sunshine, and a largely grassed garden to the west side of the lodge. You'll be able to catch the sun all day long when outside at Puffin's Rest.
The main bedroom at Puffins Rest features a king size bed, whilst the second bedroom boasts a single bed, as well as a bunk with two singles. All beds are made using premium bedding to ensure you have the best sleep possible.
Modern and stylish, the family bathroom has a deep freestanding bathtub with a handheld shower hose, as well as a WC and wash basin. The king bedroom has its own ensuite with a shower, WC and basin. Towel rails are also available in both bathrooms.
The lodge is beautifully furnished so a luxurious and comfortable stay is guaranteed.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full lodge. The keys to the lodge are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.Puffins Rest is set across one level with four small steps leading up to the lodge. There is private on site parking for two vehicles.
This is a non smoking lodge, pets are not permitted and it is not available for stag or hen parties.

We had such a wonderful stay at Puffins Rest. From the very start, the arrival process was simple and stress-free, with friendly communication throughout our stay that really helped us make the most of our time there. The welcome area guide was excellent, highlighting local amenities and attractions – really useful for exploring the area. The accommodation itself was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully prepared, with lovely touches such as the basket of toys and games in the children’s room, which our children adored. Access to the site felt safe and secure, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable and overall it truly felt like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better – the beach was just a short walk away and larger spots like Whitby were only about 20 minutes’ drive, giving us the best of both worlds. We had a fantastic time and honestly can’t wait to rebook. Such a fantastic place and a brilliant host – highly recommended!

we recently stayed for 2 nights with our four year old girl. we absolutely loved it, exactly as described, clean and tidy and the lodge is situated in a calm, safe, peaceful and private location. great location too, ideal for whitby and surrounding areas. we will definitely be booking to stay again
