My first problem is that Host and stay have a policy to add accident insurance to the price after booking. It was mandatory and they would not give the access code for the apartment until it was paid. Secondly my instructions was the cottage number was 5 , very confused when found number 5 was occupied by a family, after talking to a few other people found the cottage is actually number 3 around the corner. Thirdly the parking to this property does not exist. the instructions on entering tells you to park down a lane opposite on a first come first served basis. It was full. After unloading moved to Marina car park £9 for 24 hours. Second day got a space across the road so moved my car so it was easy to load up for departure on the Monday morning. This lane is a private road and on Monday on check out the lane was completely blocked with cars from solicitors and hair dressers. It took nearly an hour to get all the people out to move the cars so I could eventually leave. Diabolical

Great place to stay, location is great , just away from the hustle and bustle of Whitby , but within 5 minute walk to the town, try comfortable cottage. Lacks parking but recommend the parking on the large car park on the harbour, 8 minutes walk to the cottage.

Lovely cottage with lots of character. Great location not good for parking but has £9 for 24hours car park close by. Kitchen is very well equipped and clean All instructions are easy to follow We would definitely recommend

Comfy and ideally situated for a holiday in Whitby. Everything is within walking distance. Instructions were very clear, including helpful hints and tips. Very clean. We would recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay in Whitby. The cottage matched the pictures and description perfectly and it was a great location for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area - a perfect base for a weekend away.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the property is in a great location just a very short walk from the harbour and local shops & restaurants. It was peaceful, and a delight to stay. We can't wait to return. We highly recommend this property, a big thank you.

Such a lovely little cottage in the centre of Whitby. The place was clean and spacious with all the essentials you would need. We had such a lovely weekend stay and will definitely be coming back! ☺️

It is the best place to stayed you will love it .. beautiful and clean and you will get everything you needed in this place . Right in the town nice walked to the Harbour . Love it and want to stay in this little cottage longer , we will be back

Brilliant place, couldn’t fault a thing. Easy to check-in, everything you could need within the cottage. Was very clean and the beds are comfy, even providing fans in the bedroom which was amazing as we had dropped on amazing weather! The location is perfect everything is within walking distance and close to shops etc.

A great location, cute cottage and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. One thing to note, the parking is difficult and the locals aren’t very friendly about it! We found the recommendation of Victoria Square impractical (said private road, and loads of cars parked all over) ended up parking the other side of the park- free parking and a pleasant 10 minute walk through the park back to the cottage.

This is a lovely cottage in a perfect location right on the edge of Whitby and a minute from all you need. Great view of the ruins from the bedroom - very warm and cosy.

A lovely little cottage right in the centre of Whitby with Whitby Abbey views too. It was super clean and very well equipped. The kitchen is especially well equipped, clean and tidy which was perfect to cook a small meal in. Check in was really easy and communication with the hosts were really efficient. Parking in Whitby is naturally difficult but we parked in a nearby car park. £9 for 24 hours was not bad. Great location and value. Highly recommend.

A great central location, very comfortable and well appointed. The pictures don't do it justice. We'll definitely come back.
