We stayed at this property as a family of 6 adults and 3 small dogs. Location was great, the furnishings were great, lots of crockery and glasses and overall the property was clean BUT there were a lot of dust webs in the rooms and on the light fittings, the windows and light shades needed a good clean and the outside back yard was a little overgrown and grubby. We paid £200 for the cleaning of the property which due to the size and amount of the rooms was fair, just a little more attention to cleaning detail would have made it perfect. Our stay overall was lovely and we would like to return

Overall the property was lovely with a good size lounge and dining kitchen. Bedrooms were all really good sizes. The en-suite to the downstairs bedroom has a bath with a shower over which is important to know, especially if you are travelling with anyone with limited mobility as the only room with a walk in shower cubicle is on the middle floor. All the other rooms had a bath with a shower over the bath. Location was brilliant overlooking the sea front and had enough parking to fit 2 cars comfortably on the drive. There was also free street parking outside the property. There was a little shop just at the end off the street that sold food and gifts plus a fish shop and a cafe. It’s also close to the town where there was plenty of bars/cafes and small boutiques and shops. The description did mention there was a tumble dryer but there isn’t one. The outside yard could benefit from some TLC as it was a bit overgrown. Other than that we had a fantastic stay and I would recommend this place

Beautiful, clean and modern house in the lovely, quaint town of hornsea. Enough space for our extended family including 4 children, each room having an en suite was very luxurious. We loved hornsea as a seaside town and the location of the house is perfect to be close to all the amenities as well as peace and quiet, with a gorgeous sea view from the front bedrooms.

We are a family of 8 adults and 2 x 2 year olds. The house was clean and tidy and as described. We thought the location was excellent, being less than 10 mins to the beach. We would recommend it.

We had a fantastic stay here as a group of 6 adults, 3 children and a little dog - there was plenty of room for us all. Each room is spacious and beautifully decorated and the location of the property was fantastic just a stones throw away from the beach and plenty of places to eat or grab a drink. Would definatley stay here again and recommend the property to other family and friends.

Property was very spacious even for our party of 10! Great location on the sea front. We managed to park 3 cars on the drive. Perfect for what we needed so would recommend for those reasons. Could improve by upgrading the pillows as everyone found them quite hard and uncomfortable. The biggest issue was that we weren’t left with adequate toilet roll/dishwasher tablets or any washing machine tablets despite it being listed they were included. Host was quick to respond and say they would bring some round but they never did which was quite a big issue for us and the reason we’re only giving 4 stars.

Great stay! We were a group of 8 (including 3 couples). There was a big Tesco nearby to stock up and we had a great weekend in this listing. There was plenty of room, loads of en suites, lovely kitchen area for group meals! The showers were great temperature and pressure and there was room for 2 cars in the driveway with free onstreet parking for more cars. All in all a great listing for a group of friends!

A comfortable and fabulous sized house for a large group. A real bonus to have an ensuite in every room. The location is perfect and to step out the front door and be next to the sea was a delight. There are a few maintenance issues that need addressing (heating not working, broken bath panel and tap and locking mechanism on front door) and the property was quite dusty. We also found the cooking utensils to be too small to cater well for a large group. However, the beds were comfy and the large dining table gave us plenty of space to sit and chat and play games. All in all we had a wonderful family stay and we would happily go back.

The house is very spacious, perfect for a full family. Kitchen and living room fit 9 of us in with plenty of room left. The location is also brilliant, literally a 30 second walk from the very clean beach. We came away for a social weekend with friends and were able to do that, it’s a huge bonus that every room has its own bathroom. Initially took a long time for the house to warm up, the first day and night was very cold and uncomfortable. I think the house itself is a little tired and could do with some TLC/maintenance. There had been quite a bit of water damage at some time that was visible in most rooms and the sink created a lot of condensation which made the kitchen floor wet at times. Although it was generally clean, as in no dirty surfaces etc. The place could have done with a good dust to get the dustwebs and dirt from the corners of rooms, windows and blinds etc. Would possibly come back but this property would be incredible if the above issues were rectified.

Amazing stay, house was great as described, location right on the front but only 10 mins walk to high street. Really peaceful location with a nice pub just over the road right on the sea front. Only issue for us was we chose the house because of the accessible downstairs bedroom but it had a bath with shower would have been better with a step in shower for elderly parents but this is the only issue for us other than this fantastic.

fabulous house on the coast with sea views. Nice to all have ensuite bedrooms , warm and cosy , great quality furniture, fully equipped kitchen , lots of glasses plates etc . great for beach walks

Great house for a large number of guests, all rooms having their own bathroom is a definite bonus. Plenty of crockery, cutlery,glasses, cookware etc. Linen, towels provided as was shampoo, shower gel tablet soap. Lovely sea views from the upstairs rooms and large table in the kitchen to spend meal times together, it’s a real family home. Minus point for me was that it wasn’t up to my standard cleanliness wise, needs attention to detail, for example window panes, sills and bath surrounds and dust on lights, nothing that spoils the stay but paying £200 for cleaning I’d expect cleanliness to be 100%. Would definitely stay again though.

The house is beautiful and just as described. They had had a leak in the kitchen ceiling which still needed repairing but these things happen and cannot be avoided. All the décor was lovely and very well chosen for each room. Don't think this property had been available to rent very long and recently refurbished still with little bits to check and finish and clean., Overlooking those bits it was very clean, modern, with comfortable beds, lovely quality linen, plenty of sofa room and a lovely large table in the kitchen to accommodate everyone.
