Brand new for Summer 2021, Modern Industrial is a recently refurbished one bedroom apartment. Finished to the highest standard, the apartment has a cool and effortless look throughout. Located in the centre of Whitby with everything right on the doorstep, this striking apartment has it all. Sleeping two guests, Modern Industrial is perfect for couples or friends looking for a seaside holiday with an edgy twist.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances so every care has been taken to ensure you have everything you need to make the most of your self-catering stay. Ultra modern with minimal fuss, the kitchen has matte, dark grey cabinets and matching marble style worktops. The dining area includes a breakfast style bar and two bar stools. The living area boasts a large flat screen TV, velvet sofa and leather accent chair.
Head to the bedroom and you’ll find a comfortable king size bed with plush bedding and premium bed linens. Exposed bricks create a statement wall which is then complemented perfectly with hanging metal bedside lamps and an industrial style clothes rail. The en-suite bathroom features a walk in shower, WC and basin.
Golden Lion Apartments is home to three separate apartments with a maximum capacity of 8. If you are looking for a stay for a large group, there are often opportunities to rent all three apartments together. Please send us an email with your preferred dates for availability and prices.

- The apartment is located in the centre of Whitby and is therefore subjected to seagulls noise.
- The apartment is opposite a pub and there can be noise, especially on the weekends.
- The building has a number of floors and the stairs can be tight. Please note Modern Industrial is located on the second floor. The apartment therefore may not be suitable for those less physically able.

We provide a parking scratch card for your stay which gives you free parking in the W zones.
