What a beautiful property with stunning views. Although off the beaten track it was only 30 mins to Scarborough one way and 30 mins to Whitby the other. Very peaceful. Was spacious and had everything we needed. Perfect for our family - our 2 grandsons ( aged 4 and 2) absolutely loved it.

What a fantastic few days away with our family we have had. Everything was just as described and was perfect for us. The weather was kind and we spent time on the garden with the paddling pool. A wonderful cottage with so many places in easy reach around it

I stayed with my family (7 adults) and both the house and furnishings as well as the location were really perfect for us. We felt at home from the first moment. Also noteworthy was the quick support when the hot water failed once in two bathrooms. Right the next day, the issue was resolved and everything worked out again. I highly recommend it, as the place is also a great starting point for many activities. For example, we were in York, Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay (walking) and also the trip to Flamborough was sensational. Thank you for everything! Sigrid and family

Just stunning views of the coast from a beautiful home. Party of 7 loved our week, loads of space to relax. Description was on point, a little isolated, but we entertained ourselves, so not an issue for us. We had a fabulous week 🙏🙏

A lovely spacious house with stunning views over the bay. It has everything you need for a large family gathering and is beautifully decorated. We loved every minute and wished we could stay longer. Thoroughly recommend this place and will hopefully return again.

The two nights at the cottage for our family of 10 (incl 4 teenagers and a golden retriever) was great. So comfy and had a real family feel. Thank you for the welcome fizz and chocolate. The house was spacious, comfy, clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Kitchen was huge and we were able to have lovely family meals and play board games comfortably around the table. The views from the bay windows were spectacular and the photos do not do it justice!! Having two living rooms were good too so that our boys could play their games in their own space. Bedrooms large and ample pillows. The garden was not enclosed so I was unable to let our dog out on its own but that was a tiny thing that could be improved on the house. The location is remote but we liked that. The walk to see the seals was a lovely surprise. We tried the BBQ on the first night but the British weather was against us! We will definitely be back hopefully when we get some good weather. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic weekend at Fairview. The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s a beautiful place with stunning views over the coast. Especially in the morning when you can sit in one of the window seats with a coffee, looking out for deer and other wildlife. A very peaceful and relaxing experience.

We loved the place!!! It looks better than in photos. There is that feeling of coziness and love. Owners added much effort, proper family place. Beautiful view to the sea and nice walks around. Even dogs loved the stay! Definitely would stay again.

Fairview is a fantastic base to explore this coast, the house is perfectly suited to accommodating family groups, with plenty of space for relaxing and dining together, and for having some quiet time. Favourite thing about the house? Sitting in one of the 4 bay windows watching the sea, looking at the gorgeous coastline and listening to the nearby cows and sheep.

If you are considering staying in this lovely cottage for the weekend - do it! Our group had such a lovely stay - beds were comfy and the facilities were excellent. There is a public footpath very close by if you fancy a walk and the Cottage itself is not far from Scarborough Town where there are lots of places to get food, drink and do other exploring. Will definitely stay again !

The location and the views were absolutely stunning. It was so peaceful and quite magical. There were lots of walks locally and a sweet cafe in the village. All other shops were a good 20 mins drive so be prepared with your groceries - but worth it for being in such a magnificent location. The walk down to the seals on Ravenscar beach was a fantastic treat. The house was super comfortable. Nice big beds. Plenty of bathrooms for a bigger group and very comfortable lounge area. We really loved our stay and would definitely recommend!
