We stayed here and loved it ! There was 9 of us and there was plenty of space for us all . Easy to walk into Whitby and there was everything we needed ! We had a great time and would recommend it x

Lovely spacious house - beds are really comfortable - large entrance / hallway to get ready to go out and get everyone back in when its raining ! Showers are powerful. 2 cars easy parked on the drive and plenty nearby street parking. We've stayed in some really nice dog friendly places and this is up there with them. 10-15 minute walk to whitby centre and the beach is even quicker to get to.

We booked it for 7 adults and 4 dogs over the weekend. The place looked even better than the pictures! Stunning place! Extremely spacious. Great location. Walkable everywhere. Communication from the host was brilliant. We had great time.

In all honesty the actual house itself is lovely, we had issues with cleanliness and I believe that is due to the fact that it was off-season and I don’t think people had stayed before us. The real issue is the communication from the host (professional company) we were told there would be two travel cots when we got there, upon arrival there was no travel cots so I called the phone number and I was told that they don’t provide travel cots for that property. When I went upstairs the upstairs room hadn’t been cleaned since the last guest and there was some harmful substances in the top floor, I messaged every single day for four days to get a cleaner round to dispose of the drugs and sort it out, but no one came. I eventually ended up calling the guest services manager who was very helpful, but by that point we were due to check out the following day. If it weren’t for those two issues, this would’ve been a five star review all round, the house itself and location are both fantastic.

House was exactly as described. Beds bedding and towels very good quality. Kitchen well equipped and very good location for walking into Whitby. Excellent beaches in easy reach by car. I would book here again

The house is lovely and well situated in Whitby, just a 5 min walk to the seafront. My main issues are as follows: Check in is 4pm which feels very late to me, we asked if we could get in early to refrigerate some breast milk we was sent back a copy and pasted message that basically said no. The thing is, air bnb is supposed to be about private homes with private hosts, and I’ve never met a host that isn’t flexible until now. There was no one in the home the day before anyway so we could have checked in early and dropped off our stuff. Poor. The heating instructions miss out a key step using the thermostat, we only worked this out the second day after being freezing cold the first night. You need to hold down a button for 3 seconds to get it to work, this isn’t in the instructions. No black bin outside. Everything response was copy and pasted and it didn’t feel personal at all. But, the house is lovely and the location is great too. Just be prepared for poor comms.

Was a lovely house, just as advertised, plenty of room for 10 people. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Kitchen had all the facilities to cater for a large party, bathroom and showers were extremely well kept . Short walk into Whitby, but be warned it's all up hill on the way back! Would I stay in this property again, definitely. My only suggestion would be to offer more cleaning equipment, ie washing up liquid and rubbish bags and maybe some hand soap in the toilets.

Lovely house with a sociable kitchen area and nice outdoor space. Great having parking spaces on the drive. A 10 minute walk into Whitby or to the beach - with lots to do for all ages.

Puffin House was fantastic. 8 of us from various locations met at the house and spent a long, relaxing weekend in Whitby to celebrate my 30th birthday. The house was perfect for a large group, the 3 showers + the bath made for easy mornings with everyone getting ready at the same time. We were all really impressed with the house and the digital guidebook was great for planning where to eat and things to do. Only a short walk into the centre of Whitby and to the beach, made for a perfect location. I would definitely consider returning to Puffin House for future large group stays.

The house was very easy to find using the handy maps link sent prior to check in. Check in was stress free using the key safe at the house. The location of the house was wonderful and meant that we didn't have to use a car for the weekend. We were able to park one medium sized car in the garage and one large one on the drive. The house was perfect for 10 friends with everything we needed. Each of the rooms are spacious with lovely comfy beds.

The most perfect place to stay, close to all the main attractions, lovely area and most of all an amazing house. I went with 9 people and everyone was happy with their accommodation. When I return to Whitby I would stay here every time.

Puffin House is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need to enjoy a get together with friends or family. It is situated in a lovely area , only minutes from the beach , Pannet park and a short walk to Whitby pier and shops . I would definitely recommend. We are a large family of all ages and found the house both comfortable and spacious.

Great place to stay for a big group visiting Whitby. The house was clean and spacious and bright. Plenty of space to cook in the kitchen. The showers are brilliant! The little garden at the back is lovely. Perfect location away from the bustle of the town but easy and quick to walk there.

this is an absolutely stunning house and was perfect for my family to all get together for my 60th birthday. The house is like a tardis with fabulously large bedrooms and reception rooms. every room is decorated to a really high stardard with quality fittings. It is ideally placed for walking into Whitby and enjoying it's history.

This house is amazing. We were a party of 8 and had plenty of space. The house had everything you could possibly need, was spotlessly clean and in a perfect location. It is a two minute walk to the sea front and a ten minute walk into Whitby centre. We would definitely go back to Puffin House if we return to Whitby.

House was excellent, recently refurbished to very high standard and super clean. Also perfect location by the coast to explore Whitby. We used for family trip to celebrate my mum’s 60th and we all enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious and comfortable and has a very well equipped kitchen, The decor and furnishings are beautiful, Whitby is just a short walk from the house.
