Crab Cottage has a wonderful atmosphere. We felt right at home the minute we entered. The kitchen is great with everything you may need. Lounge super comfy. Bedrooms are lovely and spacious. Loved our short stay there and would highly recommend.

Crab Cottage is like a home from home. The house it set up so well, especially for families. The garden is gorgeous for some lazy time at home while on a trip, and equipped brilliantly.
We felt so relaxed while staying and enjoyed local sites. The beach down the road is amazing and there’s plenty to do in the area. Our hosts left tips and descriptions a plenty.
Brilliant stay, we may well return.

This property is near a lovely cafe and a small co-op is just up the road for convenience shopping. You can access the beach via a mile long easy walk. Facilities were good. Only stopped for a couple of days but it would have been a good choice for a longer holiday.

We absolutely loved our stay at Crab Cottage. The house was clean and had books and games for the kids, as well as a wonderful garden with a little football and net for them to play with. These little details just made it feel like home from home. We loved the house and were really sad to leave. A couple of days we took a drive past the farm to Sugar Sands beach. It was great having a beach so close with two young kids. The cafe in the village is amazing! Well worth a visit. The house is also close to Alnwick, which has everything you need, Alnwick Gardens & Castle and Amble. We had the best holiday and can’t wait to return! :)

Crab Cottage is a lovely home in a quiet village just minutes from the coast. We found it clean, very comfortable and a really great base to explore the incredible local area. So much to see and do that a week simply wasn't enough! Didn't get time to relax in the spacious garden but loved curling up on the sofas (under blankets due to a chilly July!!) watching TV with a hot cuppa! The amenities are excellent and loved the child-friendly touches like a little desk and chair with little book library too... we didn't travel with kids but very thoughtful things like these makes Crab Cottage feel a little different. Highly recommend Crab Cottage for a stay of any length!

Great stay in lovely home. Well equipped. Location good for exploring Northumberland beaches. Accessed lots of local towns and villages.

Great location, close to the beach. Great for our dog. Clean and comfortable property, in a quiet area. Sunny garden, and plenty of parking.
Everything you would need provided, including blankets for those chilly evenings on the sofa.

Crab Cottage is ideally located for exploring the local area including beaches, nature reserves and interesting towns and villages.
The hosts were attentive and had made sure all information about the property and local area was available.
The property was spotless and very well equipped for our stay.
We will definitely stay again.

We enjoyed a lovely weekend stay here, it was clean, tidy and nicely furnished. My kids and dogs loved the garden, chairs and games. A great feature is the beach at the end of the road, we got there just as the sun was setting on the first night and it was stunning! Lots of fab places to get out and go see from here and great co-op near by for convenience goods. Would definitely book again.
