Our stay was really great, my grandson thought the roof terrace was fab, we all did, the apartment was lovely and perfect for our needs, we was impressed by the size of the rooms as well, it is ideally placed for everything you need. This is no criticism but maybe a couple of lamps in the living room for the evening, but it was really lovely anyway.

Very lovely flat, perfect location! However, dirty cutlery and hob wasn’t cleaned properly. Beds were made but a little bit messy. Throw over double bed had existing stains on the underneath. But overall 4/5. Was a lovely stay, really enjoyed it and the facilities in the flat were incredible. Could see the front door from inside the flat, good heating, perfect shower!

There is no washing machine, but the rest of the things are very beautiful and there is no such thing in the neighborhood

Nice enough flat, however, the bed in the master bedroom is very small and quite lumpy. In the current summer heat, the flat heats up like an oven, even with the blinds down. At night it's not possible to open the windows due to the noise outside. It is VERY loud: seagulls, souped up cars, drunk people - it's all going on. The doors inside the building bang when people leave or enter. Also, 2 rolls of loo paper is not sufficient for 4 people staying 3 nights.

We had an amazing stay at the merchants quarters. The flat was beautiful and had everything we needed. The location is perfect, 2 second stroll to the south beach. Check-in and check-out so easy with the lock box and great communication from the hosts. The roof top terrace was just the icing on the cake with incredible views over the sea. Can't rate this place highly enough and we will certainly be back!

Amazing Space, the rooftop patio is shared with the other flats but is great for an afternoon break with a beer. The harbor is right outside your door, a great location.

We all had a wonderful couple of days, apartment is in a great location and a wonderful view from the roof top terrace. Everything was lovely and clean.

We had a great 2 day stay at the Berkano apartment in Scarborough. The apartment was lovely! Great location, extremely clean, easy check in. Can't ask for any more. There's no private parking but we managed to park in the car park across the road without any problems.

Fantastic apartment in a great location close to the sea front with the added bonus of a shared roof terrace! Communications and check in procedures were timely and clear, would happily stay again!

The apartment was very new, clean, modern and well appointed. The roof terrace, which is played down in the listing, is really great with views over the fishing bay and definitely enhanced our stay on a sunny weekend. The shower has four different settings and was also-a lovely surprise. The complementary handwash hand lotionNx shower gel smell divine. It’sthe little things like this that elevate stay in accommodation. I would stay again no problem, other than for the location which was very busy near the South Bay (in the age of Covid). There was a constant stream of people and cars outside the bay windows which made me think it would suit a younger clientele who want to be in the thick of it. There were a few minor teething points, such as the blinds stick and need tweaking, one fell off whilst we were there although we were able to fix it ourselves, plus the TV room might benefit from a rug as the tv sound is a bit tinny. .A dishwasherwould be great for squeaky clean reassurance! Overall we thought it was a great place,and the service via app was responsive.

My wife and I stayed in The Merchants Quarters, 'Berkano' apartment recently and we were most impressed with it. I suspect each of the three apartments here are a mirror image of each other in this very tastefully renovated old building near the lifeboat station in Scarborough. Everything about our stay in the Merchants Quarters was perfect. The location was great, being near the lifeboat station and harbour with public car parking directly opposite at only £9.00 per 24 hrs. Prior communication was excellent as was the ease of check in. The quality of refurbishment was outstanding, in our opinion, with high quality furniture and fittings to all rooms and the contemporary decor design was much to our liking. The kitchen was well fitted with excellent utilities, crockery and glassware. We had booked The Merchants Quarters for 4 nights and in our view the price we paid represented good value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful apartment, furnished to a really high spec. Felt very clean and safe. Good communication from hosts and great location right by Harbour Bar and the beach. And a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival - perfect!
