Host very helpful when told that smoke detector was constantly beeping (low battery), although it would have been better if it hadn’t been going off all through the first night of my stay.

It was not made clear prior to arrival (having told the host of travel plans) that I had to walk from Piccadilly, past the location, to the centre of Manchester to pick up the keys from a Spar (not a system I have come across before); had to dig the details out of a long email. Explantion of how the door system worked was poor too (blank entry system with no indication how the fob system worked / where it had to be held). All of which meant it took over an hour (very late on a Sunday night) to get in. I was also inappropriately challenged for return of the keys the day before my booking ended. Apartment was cold, although wall heaters were provided, and furnished like student digs.

Only a 10 minute walk to Arndale and printworks and some great venues close by, so great location. Was a lovely air BnB decorated nicely and very clean. However to find was quite hard especially in the dark as check in time is at 4 o clock and that’s when it gets dark in the winter. Other than that we had a lovely stay and will definitely rebook.

The apartment was lovely and clean, with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would be delighted to stay there again!

The interior of this Airbnb is as shown in the pictures – clean and well-presented, with two double beds that are comfortable for a weekend stay. The lounge also has a sofa bed, which works fine for a short visit.
However, the key collection process was frustrating. We were supposed to receive an email with a code to pick up the keys from a shop around 9 minutes away by car (longer with traffic). Unfortunately, the code never arrived, and we spent an hour trying to reach the host company without success. It’s worth double-checking that any emails you receive contain all necessary details before you arrive.
In line with other reviews, we also noticed that some of the glassware hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned, so it may be worth the host speaking with their cleaning company about maintaining high standards.
Overall, once we were in, the accommodation was close to the train station and conveniently located for our plans. However, the lack of a lockbox, which the website mentioned, added

Overall the flat was a good with sizeable bedrooms, extremely comfy beds and pillows, heating and a sofa bed. The bathroom was clean and shower was hot. There is no wifi in this flat. When we arrived there was a terrible smell coming from the fridge obviously due to the last guests. Some glasses had lipstick stains and were dirty. Apart from this we were in the ideal location and only a 5 minute walk to piccadilly gardens and taxis came in minutes to city hotspots. With a few improvements this flat could be a regular stay in Manchester! Perfect for small groups wanting to have a great weekend.
