This was a fantastic base for my trip to Taunton, close to the town centre shops & cafes and hospital where I was visiting. It even had a large supermarket within 2 minutes walk. As a solo traveller I felt safe and at ease. The apartment was spacious, bright and well equipped and the bed was super comfy. I was a bit concerned about finding it and gaining entry due to other reviews, but this was not a problem at all. The host was very responsive to my enquiries. As someone else has commented, use the green entry door on the left of the building which leads straight up to the apartment.

There a few places around this area I’ve stayed in but 52 waterside is my favorite. I’ll stay again next year too. Favorite things: The view from windows as it’s a corner unit and high enough to see out a distance. Nice window in bedroom. Good layout: comfortable living room and kitchen and eating area space. Well equipped kitchen with non non-stick cookware available. Comfortable big bed. Anyway, it’s a nice place.

Did not feel safe in evenings. Communal Rubbish bins need to be better managed. Actual apartment was clean and basics supplied. Check whether internet has been fixed. Connection to TV is intermittent and means you can’t stream films .

The apartment itself was lovely. As described. Very clean and well looked after. Good size for two of us. Such a shame the outside area you walk through was littered with very unsavoury rubbish. Parking was very poor. The space is too small and we couldn’t get our vehicle in. The management company were very unhelpful with this. We had to take a risk and park where we could. Not great as we chose the apartment because it had parking. The apartment location is great and easy to walk into Taunton. Instructions to find the apartment are too vague and need to be clearer. The actual apartment is on the top floor and the lift in the main building doesn’t go to the floor. We worked it out but it took a long time!

Getting to the flat on the 3rd floor was initially unclear but after that was a breeze. Really quiet and clean flat, spacious and great bed and nice bathroom. Very convenient for town centre

we had a lovely time. the accommodation was spotless when we arrived and felt right at home. there was plenty to do in surrounding areas and overall we had a lovely stay. we will definitely come back again if we were to visit. thank you for all of your help and providing us with a lovely place to stay for a few days Richard

walking and running routes along canal and through fields right outside your door. fantastic spec apartment clean and modern with huge bed and stunning arched window. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Our only issue with this place is that the bedroom window that takes up almost the entire wall is a fixed window with no opening. due to this it was unbearable to stay in when the sun is up. other than that one issue the place was perfect.

Clean, well-presented, and in a great location. However, the flat is very minimally equipped — no kitchen scissors, Tupperware, extremely limited crockery (only 4 of each), and numerous other items missing. Supplies like dishwasher tablets and cloths are rationed. The bedroom window doesn’t open. No hair dryer is supplied. The managing host is extremely polite but completely inflexible on everything — policy is policy. The check-out time is undesirable and, despite saying cleaners arrive promptly at 10am, they never do. The parking space can’t be used beyond 10am, even though tenants park wherever they like, so the cleaners don’t need the underground space. Several guidebook instructions are incorrect, and despite detailed feedback last time, nothing was updated. It’s clear the managing agent hasn’t visited recently or perhaps ever. The company is invited to visit and carefully review their information and the extremely basic and limited equipment.

Flat was well situated near a nice park, Tescos and also hospital, which we were visiting, all in walking distance. It was clean and had everything we needed. Re getting in - the key safe is just inside the main door by letter boxes. Flat is 2 flights up then walk to end of corridor and walk another flight or take lift. Its possible to take lift all the way from the entrance that is near the bins. Flat was perfect for our stay.

Great location, great value and very responsive host. However entrance instructions are unclear, as other reviewers have pointed out and kitchen supplies were very basic and some items missing. Finally the check out time of 10am is unsociable and not typical. 11am checkout and 3pm checkin would be much more convenient.

The flat has been newly renovated and is comfortable and clean. Most of the building seems to be offices. There are nice walks in the river meadows and it’s easy to walk into town, or to the hospital, which we were visiting. Number 52 is on the third floor and not accessible from the main lift, but there is a lift at the far end of the building which brings you up by the flat. It was only after extensive searching that we found this. Signs were being put up during our stay so hopefully this will be remedied. The key was not in the key safe when we arrived. The cleaner was still working on the flat which, she told us, had been left in a bad state. She’d done a very good job on the whole and we had a comfortable stay.

The apartment itself was great, the location is in a commercial/office area just outside of town. The address was tricky to find with the directions supplied - but I have fed this back and think it will be rectified. Once inside the apartment building none of the apartments are signed so it was very hard to locate the actual apartment. Better signage, locating instructions would be beneficial. i.e. its on the 3rd floor and you nee to go into a separate entrance to the main key box entrance and separate lift well. I think if host and stay were to do an audit/visit they would be able to supply better instructions. The apartment itself was great, equipped and perfect for our needs.
