Great location and layout of flat. Unfortunately instructions to find correct key safe not provided. Property needs some TLC, shower very difficult to turn on and off, en-suite toilet’s flush intermittent fault, no towel rail in en-suite so very cold. There was quite a lot of dust and dirt that I had to clean. Great to have off street parking and easy to get to town and the beach.

Very nice place situated in Scarborough. I think it was worth the price and was a lot bigger than expected over 2 floors. It was very clean on arrival and we had complimentary items left. I would stay again here.

Excellent apartment, very spacious, absolutely clean, great host, close to the sea, easy to locate, great location not far from important places in Scarboroug. It was a home from home! We look forward to visiting again and staying at this beautiful apartment and we will definitely recommend it any time and any day. Fola & Dire.

Excellent place to stay, parking on site was really appreciated and close to the Spa which was easily accessible via the cliff lift. Pleasant walking along the Esplanade by the sea and gardens.

Some good things and some bad. Good - excellent location, lovely apartment with good amenities, dedicated parking spot, host was responsive. Bad - access instructions were simply wrong (not unclear, but actually wrong) which was quite stressful as we arrived late at night; the bedroom which is located in the attic space of the building gets hot in Summer - this is not a problem in the day as the skylights provide ventilation but at night it is too warm (or one can open the skylights and the seagulls let you know who they think own the place!)

As previous people have noted - the entry instructions need updating - there is no key code for the front door - it is key only. We met the caretaker of the property who said he has had to help previous guests to get in ! The apartment itself is lovely with everything you need for a short stay. Host & Stay were quick to respond to my queries and easy to communicate with. The location is brilliant and it has the added bonus of a car park space.

Good things - great location, quiet, free parking space, very spacious, feels safe, well presented communal areas, quirky layout, lots of storage Bad things - mould in the shower, stains on bed sheets, unclear check in instructions as it said key code for front door but there wasn’t one (now read that previous reviews state the same it needs updating but nothing has been done) and 3 lock boxes and not clear which one was ours, limited kitchen supplies, upstairs toilet drain/toilet running constantly, shower tray fills up with water nearly over flowing en-suite, dust and cobwebs throughout, bedroom sky light window doesn’t open/handle broken, dishwasher needed rinse aid to work and none was provided, only one mug in kitchen (again I read previous reviews so took my own, but clear owner doesn’t read feedback or make changes). Generally needs some TLC and a good deep clean

We would have given a 5* rating for the apartment but for the initial problems when gaining access (inadequate instructions), lack of cleaning and wifi not operating at all during our stay. That said, the apartment is beautifully presented and is in a great central location in Scarborough. We would certainly consider booking a further stay.

Lovely stay at Dale's place. Pictures dont do it justice, as its a lovely big space. Lift up to the 3rd floor was really helpful too, especially with lots of luggage. Thanks!

Lovely flat very spacious. We were a bit cold but the weather wasn’t great. Added bonus TV in the bedroom. Suited my wife. Great location not far from anywhere in Scarborough. Took a while to find the keys as the final email said apartment 4 was our home but we got there in the end. Wi-Fi codes were different from the one in the lounge to the one in the kitchen but we worked it out. A great place to stay Pat and Barbara

A fabulous location with private parking included. Although on the third floor, the lift was an added bonus and easy to access. The apartment is spacious and light with modern furniture and features. Two bathrooms including a powerful shower in the en-suite and a bath with constant hot water were appreciated after long walks. The kitchen appliances were great but could do with more saucepans if you are planning on eating in. (We could only find one small one). It is a quiet apartment and the owners were very friendly and communicative throughout our stay.

It was a great flat with a great location, directly opposite St Martin's church decorated by famous pre Raphaelite artists. Very quiet. Very easy to walk to town and 2 minutes to the best view of the South bay beach and spa. There are many steps or flat slopes down to the beach and spa but you are also very close to the cliff side tram/cable car if mobility is an issue.

Fantastic stay at Easby Hall. Ideal location just a few minutes walk from the beach. The Apartment was spotless and just as decribed. Plenty of space, great natural light and every amenity you could want. Great value for money

I was made to feel very comfortable considering I had a major operation, I wanted for nothing, it’s the Welcome Pack I’ve ever had, full of quality products the only downside was the lift was broken and left me feeling very vulnerable, however the caretaker said he would in the event of fire, make sure I was able to get downstairs from the top floor, the flat had everything I needed thank you

Really loved the location and the check-in process was really easy. However, the booking for this company is overzealous and requires an extra £250 deposit (+£10 non refundable fee) which was frustrating considering airbnb covers all this. Additionally and considering this is a business and not someone's place the flat wasn't clean enough (quite a lot of dust and loads of mess under the sofas). Besides this, we had a pleasant stay.

A spacious and clean apartment. Great having the bedroom upstairs and great it has 2 bathrooms. Having a parking space on site is a big bonus. We loved this apartment and will definitely stay here again.

This is a delightful apartment,beautifully presented. It is even better than the photographs. It was quiet (except for the seagulls!) and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good value for money. I would stay there again. Roger Kirkwood

The apartment is on the top 3rd floor so it was great that there was a lift. Bit tricky and cumbersome carrying heavy suitcases into the building as there are steps up to the entrance and 2 doors to get through that are close to each other but this is nothing really. The apartment was very clean and spacious but having the light switches on the hinged side of the doors took some getting used to! The wifi worked well and so did the appliances in the kitchen.

Have stayed I’m multiple Host & Stay properties, one of which was another apartment in this building, and they have always been clean and well represented. This place was well kept and the host was responsive and happy to help. Would recommend!
