We had a lovely stay here, we really enjoyed it. Lovely apartment with great sea views. Perfect location and super convenient parking. We’ll be back! Not sure why so much feedback was saying that the entrance and landing wasn’t great and looked tired - this is literally an old Victorian building with original fixtures and stairs and windows - we thought it was really cool and refreshing to see character!! Me and my dad stayed here for a short trip whilst visiting the local area and it was a lovely place to call home for a while. The views from the bedroom and living room are just beautiful and would fully recommend. It was a comfortable stay with beautiful decor. The place had free parking right outside the apartment and with shops not even a 5 minute walk. Would really recommend this apartment no matter the time of the year or the weather! Beautiful apartment, location and stay! Would 100% stay again.

It was a lovely property and exactly as presented in the photos. The front door needs a good push to enter and the high chair is under the bed which took us a while to locate - aside from these things it was as listed. One of the neighbours asked me to clean mud from the communal stairs, which I found a bit unusual. There were amazing views of the coast and the flat was spacious and extremely clean so I would definitely recommend it to others. As it is not a homeowner managing the stay, we did get directed by the company to an external site to make payments for their own property damages cover, but Airbnb already offer cover as per their terms of booking. This did not affect our stay in any way but I am highlighting it so that future guests are aware they will receive links and texts to other sites after booking. Thanks for a nice stay!

Perfect location for exploring Saltburn with free parking outside which is a huge bonus. Echoing other reviews, although the communal hallway is tired and a little scruffy, the apartment itself is lovely, beautifully decorated, peaceful, and very comfortable. The stairs weren’t an issue for us but the lack of a lift could put some people off. Overall, a lovely place to stay and a great base for visiting Saltburn.

Lovely apartment with great views of Huntcliff and Saltburn beach. Apartment is a good size, clean and comfortable. Only minor issues being the living room gets cold in the winter due to drafty single glazed windows and the unit is at the top of a big staircase which is a minor inconvenience. But property is very comfortable overall and would stay again.

Loved staying here. Already booked again for next summer. Very spacious inside, extremely comfortable living space and also very comfortable beds. Shower was great, as was the bath. Everything was spot on - a real home from home. Location is fantastic too, we love Saltburn and everything is easily walkable. Only negative (still giving it a 5 star) is the communal entrance & stairway, needs a fair bit of TLC but once inside the flat it’s total luxury, clean and so fresh. Lots of steps too, so be wary as this is high up.

Short walk from the train station. The property faces the sea through one of the lounge windows and the adjacent window looks over the moorland. The view of the sea from the front bedroom is beautiful. The apartment is immaculate, the bathroom was pristine, the kitchen is extremely well equipped and modern. High ceilings make it feel even more spacious. I had to contact the host a couple of times for advice, the response was immediate. Just a point to note there are 60 stairs up to the apartment, but even my 88 year old mother was able to manage that. Our stay was lovely and we will definitely be back.

Although the entrance, stairs and hallway are easily forgettable, once inside the Apartment it was lovely, although the windows need cleaning to enjoy the wonderful views on offer which was a great shame as this is one of the main selling points of the property. Everything else was perfect including Saltburn itself, first time visitor and had a fantastic time, great restaurants, bars, shops, and the farmer’s market. The beach is stunning, and we will be returning soon.

We had a lovely long weekend in Saltburn - the apartment is a very good size and was lovely and clean. It was a great place to stay with our young daughter. There is a lot of steps up to the apartment and the buildings communal staircase doesn’t reflect on the apartment. Charlie was really a responsive host for us - thank you!

Beautiful apartment with gorgeous views of the beach! I stayed with a friend and our little boys and the minimalistic decor was great as there was plenty of floor space for them and nice big beds too! There is a lovely bakery around the corner and a Sainsbury’s within walking distance to cook with all the kitchen essentials! Would thoroughly recommend although I would pack efficiently as there is a lot.. like a lot of stairs 🤣

Great place to stay in Saltburn. Felt right at home as soon as we got inside. We were lucky to get a parking spot right outside the door. Great views of the sea and surrounding area. Really clean, modern and clutter free. Highly recommend to anyone as long as you’re not bothered by having to climb some stairs.

A fabulous apartment in a great location. Very well appointed accommodation. Very nicely furnished with everything we needed. The local amenities were literally just round the corner and there was everything we needed. Also close to the railway station for trips up and down the coast. The host was highly proactive in terms of communication and helped us with queries around property access et cetera. Would definitely use this property again. Overall, an excellent visit and a fantastic property with a great host. Saltburn is a lovely place. It was a little bit like going back in time when everything was tidy, people cared for their properties and there was no litter. It really is a lovely place to visit.

Nice flat with a good view and lots of space. The view means that you need to climb quite a fee stairs which was fine for us but needs to be borne in mind in case this is an issue for you. Great kitchen with all amenities.

What a beautiful apartment! We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely go back. Extremely well presented, spacious, beautifully and tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The sea views were incredible. It was also really well situated with everything within 5 minutes’ walk. Highly recommended! We loved everything about Saltburn-By-The-Sea and will definitely be visiting again. Thanks also for the handy guide - we visited a lot of the food/drink recommendations and they were all spot on. What a lovely mini-break on the gorgeous east coast.

Beautiful accomodation - but mixed feelings. The flat has been furnished very thoughtfully and to a good standard. The view is stunning - such a beautiful location. The rooms are enormous, stylish and yet super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are equally chic. What let this down for us is as follows: i) no toilet roll or hand soap on arrival - this was unendurable - particularly after a long journey (12 hours from Orkney) with kids; and ii) check in not until 4pm even though we were told cleaners arrived immediately at 10am on departure. A little flexibility on arrival (even 30 minutes) - given the price - would be appreciated; iii) the communal entrance to the apartment needs cleaning (suspect the carpets need steaming) it smelt quite bad . I appreciate this is a communal area but suggest it would be worth the effort to reflect the chic nature of the apartment.

My family stayed here for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. It was a few minutes walk from the train station which was ideal and a very nice view of the sea as we were on flat 9. It is also close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Only thing was that we only had one toilet roll between the 4 of us and no kitchen rolls. Also beware that there’s no lifts so had to go up 3/4 flights of stairs to reach our flat with 2 big luggages.

The apartment was very spacious and the views are just splendid. This was our first trip away with our 11 week old daughter and we couldnt be happier that we chose Saltburn. It's such a cheerful little town with all the attractions a young family could want. The guide app we were sent on or arrival was very handy and gave us a good idea of where to eat so we didn't have to do loads of research and planning. Make sure you are willing to commit to walking up stairs if you stay here. It is a few flights of stairs to the apartment, however the views make it worth your while. The decor is very fitting with the feel of the town and preserve it's Victorian charm in a tasteful manor with ornate features and high ceilings. Some of the cookwear and utensils are a bit basic and I personally don't get on with induction hobs. This was fine as we just decided to enjoy the lovely restaurants in the town. We highly recommend The Seaview, top notch. Absolutely would stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Huntcliff View apartment. It is just like you see in the pictures - lovely and welcoming, with comfy furniture, great facilities and amazing views you could sit and watch all day. The weather during our stay was pretty wet, but having a lovely place to come back to and enjoy made all the difference. Contact with the host was great and everything on-hand we needed. The flat is several floors up, with lots of stairs…so make sure you are feeling strong to lift up all your luggage- it’s a good work out! Parking was available right outside which was handy. We just wish we could stay for longer and when the sun shines! We will be back!

Absolutely stunning property with picture perfect views. The property has been finished to an excellent standard with period features remaining. The beds were incredibly comfy with luxurious bedding. It’s the best host and stay we have stayed in. Now for some negatives. The check in and out times are not appropriate in my opinion, check in after 4pm but have to leave at 10am as you are reminded by text! 6 hours turn around is not needed and paying for 2 days you actually get 36 hours!! I also think the £25 damage waiver is a rip off too!! Last negative is the stairwell, it’s verging on dangerous especially in winter. I know you leave torches but surely a better idea would be motion lights on each level?? That said if you’re happy with the things I’ve pointed out you won’t get a better place in Saltburn.

Other than no light at the front door which made it difficult to get the keys and get inside our stay was wonderful. The apartment is beautiful, has a lot of space, wonderful views. You can walk over the road to the beach and pier. Restaurants and shops are a 5 minute walk so very convenient. I would definitely stay here again if I came back to Saltburn-by-the-Sea

This is an excellent flat with a fantastic view. It is so near all the restaurants etc without being noisy at night even though we stayed for the late May bank holiday. The shared hallway is not great but as soon as you reach the apartment it is really nice.

The apartment was exactly what I wanted and had been beautifully decorated very recently. As others have reviewed, the stairway and landings left a lot to be desired. Once inside the flat though, it was easy to forget. Only reason I've downrated the communication is because of the high number of really impersonal messages from the host company. Its the first time I've stayed through a professionally managed Airbnb, and I really missed the personal touch. The need to pay a £10 admin fee for a compulsory damages deposit of £250 was excessive, not something I've come across before, but maybe I've been lucky before. Hope it means my deposit is refunded quickly though! Strict messages reiterating the need to comply with check in/out times also harsh. The need to pay a full nights fee when you can't access until 16:00 when arriving, and need to depart by 10:00 make a two night stay quite expensive. That said, I really loved the flat, and the view was amazing.

The apartment itself was lovely and spacious and perfectly located with stunning sea views. However, we were quite disappointed with the hall/stairs. The listing states that there are many stairs and no lift, which is fine. What it fails to mention is that one section of the banister is unstable and another has a spindle missing, which leaves a wide gap. I did not feel safe walking to and from the apartment with my children and feel it is unfair to keep this information from the listing.

Saltburn is lovely, views from apartment outstanding but it is a lot of stairs to climb and the communual areas are very scruffy. noone seemed to bother about closing the front door Apartment is well laid out and furnished. Cleanliness ok but could have been a bit better in kitchen (floor horribly sticky) Biggest concern was no fire exit routes in a apartment block! Also the sash windows had no safety features and so definitely wouldnt be safe for a family, A nice apartment in good location but with some issues

We would agree with other reviews that the entrance and stairs are in need of refurbishment but don't let this put you off from choosing to stay in this super accommodation.

We’ve stayed in a few Saltburn holiday lets and this was the best so far. We loved it! The views are absolutely spectacular, with the beach only a few minutes walk. We could wake up and be on the beach for a cup of tea in 10 minutes! The apartment is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. What’s more, all the furniture and items felt solid and good quality, the beds were comfortable and towels large and fluffy. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped with everything you would need to cook a meal. I really couldn’t fault it and would be back in a heartbeat. I grew up around saltburn, so booked this place to visit family, but I’d definitely recommend it for a holiday too.

Loved our stay in the apartment. The views are just beautiful whatever the weather and I could have sat and watched the waves and changing tides all day. There is lots of natural light and the apartment is decorated/furnished very tastefully. The kitchen is very well equipped with nice quality crockery/cutlery. The roll top bath was very much appreciated after a long walk along the Cleveland Way! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the apartment to friends or family staying in Saltburn. Beautiful flat, newly decorated and furnished, had everything we could need for two adults and two teenagers. Great location just below the restaurants and bars - We recommend the newly opened Tomahawk Steak house and Alessi's Italian - Seaview is also great if you pre book. Flat is up a lot of stairs, so only book if you are able to cope with these. View out of the living room window was peaceful for morning coffee.

This is a beautiful apartment - it really is as lovely as the photos. It has been lovingly restored with good quality fittings. The bedrooms are quiet and very comfortable. A great location as well as a great view. This aspect is a well-deserved 5 stars. The real downside that takes the shine off the stars is the entrance area and hall. This is not well-maintained and completely at odds with the beauty and comfort of the apartment. Hopefully this will be rectified in the not too distant future. This is a 3rd floor walk-up building so if someone had any mobility issues then wouldn't be suitable. People with heavy/big luggage might also struggle. The service offered by Host & Stay was excellent - responsive, helpful and professional.

This was a really lovely, spacious and comfortable apartment with some stunning views across the coast. It was well equipped, everything looked immaculate. The climb up a few flights of stairs to get to it was a good test of fitness, especially with heavy bags. If you're lucky, you can park right outside the front of the building and it appeared to be free. Great location for walking into the town centre just around the corner where there is a Sainsbury's supermarket and some nice shops. Enjoyed a few stops in Signals Cafe & Bar and a very nice meal in the Coco & Rum fusion Thai restaurant. There are some other interesting locations including Whitby, Staithes and Captain Cook's Monument (Great Ayton) that are all within a 20-35 minute drive.

Lovely stylish apartment with great views over the beach, the apartment is very well equipped and everything was cleaned to a very high standard. We stayed for Easter weekend and found plenty to do in the town.

The place was absolutely flawless. Incredible for long treks out and it’s so reassuring to see your property visible for miles as you re enter saltburn after a trek to staithes or skinningrove. It’s truly a magical place and hope to be back very soon, if there were 6 stars I would have given them!

This was such a perfect place to stay! It’s right on the seafront with amazing views of the coastline! It was so comfortable and had everything you could need, it really felt like home! I’m only sad that we didn’t stay longer! As others have said the entrance and hallways could do with some TLC but the accommodation is stunning, lots of thought and care has gone into the design & decoration! We had no problems getting parked right outside! Some cars had resident parking stickers inside their windows which worried me but I was assured no permits were required and my car was fine (no ticket received ☺️). We did lots of walking while we were there as the Cleveland Way is close by so we had no need to get in the car at all! A perfect couple of days away with the added bonus of glorious weather!

Huntcliff View is a very comfortable and clean apartment with good quality fittings, a well equipped kitchen and beautiful bathroom The views are spectacular. Don't be put off by the entrance hall and staircase!

The best views! I never tire of sitting by the window in this apartment. Great location for everything Saltburn has to offer. Lovely and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. This was our 2nd stay and won’t be our last.

A beautiful stay in Saltburn. The apartment is exactly as described, and has the most fantastic views over the sea front. Apartment really well fitted out, with everything you'd need for a long weekend or more. We will certainly be returning in future!

We’d all be very happy to stay here again if it’s available. Other than the trek up the stairs (especially when packing and unpacking the car!) it was an absolute pleasure. The view made that climb more than worth it anyway, even better than the pictures suggest.

I couldn’t recommend staying at Huntcliff View more. The apartment itself is finished to an extremely high standard and the views are stunning. Excellent communication from Host & Stay and also lovely personal touches (milk in the fridge on arrival and a decorated Christmas tree!) which were greatly appreciated. I grew up in the area so I was back visiting family and feel like I’ve been on a luxury holiday. Can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you! Also highly recommend Coco and Rum the Thai restaurant in Saltburn to eat in or take away - delicious!

Had a great stay at the apartment. Don't be put off by the stairs - it's a bit of a climb especially with luggage and a 2 year old. The apartment is bang up to date - lovely décor, furniture and carpets. Kitchen is well equipped and Bathroom is trés chic. Sainsburys is a 3 minute walk around the corner for any supplies, there's also cafe's and takeaways close by. The sea view is fantastic - took some great photo's just from the window. Will hopefully return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huntcliffe view. It was definitely worth the climb up the stairs. I was a little nervous when I saw the communal areas on arrival but hang in there and you won’t be disappointed. It’s a stunningly beautiful apartment with fabulous decor, I want to move in and never leave.

The apartment is just as it is described and a pleasure to be in. There is no lift and it is a bit of a windy climb to the 3rd floor particularly with luggage. The views from the front windows are beautiful. We had a relaxing couple of days and very much enjoyed our stay.
