An administrative error meant that I was sent information for a different cottage and couldn't get in on arrival. I was travelling alone and had had a long journey so this was a bit stressful. However, I had a contact number and also messaged the owner on the airbnb site and it was sorted out within 20 minutes. I was working in the area and the cottage suited my needs perfectly. It was clean, quiet, very comfortable and well equipped. Thank you.

Ideal location for wedding we were attending. Given the price of the accommodation for a 2 night stay, more attention required to the cleaning of the property There are no local shops within walking distance of the accommodation, after a 5 hour journey, would really have appreciated a ‘welcome’, half pint of milk in the fridge.

We enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was small but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The communal gardens were an added bonus, especially as we were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy a few sun downers in the garden. As it was warm in the evening we had to have the windows open at night and we found the road to be surprisingly noisy. Overall we had a lovely stay.

We were definitely disappointed with our stay at Clara Cottage as it felt like we didn’t get the same things that so many of these glowing reviews have mentioned. When we arrived, there was empty kitchen roll and old butter in the fridge. The cutlery, plates and cups in the cupboard all had dirty food on them. The beds were comfy and there was a nice selection of DVDs and games which was a positive. It is worth noting that you have to pay a ‘damage waiver fee’ outside of Air BnB - we thought this would be fair if the cottage was as exceptional as it looks. It wasn’t. Definitely take into account the extra fees etc. that will be added on before booking this cottage. We did flag with the owners before writing the review and they said they would investigate, so we’re waiting to hear back!

My friend and I had a lovely couple of nights at Sarah's place. It's in a lovely spot - on the Saturday we did an eight mile walk into Broadway which was so pretty we barely noticed the distance. The Fleece was a great spot for dinner as well. Sarah's place was spotlessly clean and we always knew Sarah was there to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely cosy little cottage that was perfect for a weekend away for 3 adults. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need. And after over 4 hours on the road the welcome pack was very much appreciated, so I could relax with a cuppa as soon as I arrived. The house was clean and the furniture comfy. The beds were comfortable and all the furnishings very well thought out. All in all I would definitely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Absolutely delighted to come across Clara Cottage when the place we booked in Bretforton was cancelled 2 weeks before our planned trip. Sarah was super helpful & responsive to get us booked in so we could enjoy our bookings at the Fleece Inn. We loved sitting under the pergola to have a drink in the evening, far enough away not to feel like you’re disturbing residents but close enough to the cottage. Residents of Ashwin Court were cheery & friendly. Clara Cottage has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen, the beds and sitting area are comfy & bathroom clean. Lovely linen & towels. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time in the cottage. The check in was really easy, communication with Sarah was great. We like the colours, lighting and all other details in the cottage. It is beatiful, even more than on the photos, and very cosy. The beds are super comfortable, we slept excellenty. We ate twice in Fleece in. The food and ambience were great. I also love the choice of books. We wish we could stay longer. Dear Sarah and Andy. Thank you for the welcome pack, that is so nice of you , and thank you for hosting us. All the best!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely AirBnb property! Sarah was extremely nice and communicated very well throughout my stay, which was a huge help. They gave me very well-documented instructions on everything I needed to know about the property and the surrounding area. Speaking of the property itself, it was truly lovely. Everything was in excellent condition and all of the amenities were top-notch. I especially appreciated how well-maintained everything was, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. The location of the property was also great. It was conveniently located near all of the attractions that I wanted to see, while still being quiet and peaceful at night. All in all, I would highly recommend this AirBnb to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay with a kind and communicative host.

Staying at Sarah's cottage in Bretforton was transforming into idyllic life in Cotswold, just amazing! The place was immaculate, you can see how much attention to details paid Sarah to make her place just perfect for country retreat. Oh and the Fleece Inn is just superb, but do not forget to book well in advance, one day before seems to be too late! Should we come back to the area of Stratford-upon-Avon, Sarah's cottage will be our first choice!

The cottage is perfectly located for a short stay in Bretforton or a longer stay to explore more of the Cotswolds and the Vale of Evesham. Everything has been thought about and the amenities and facilities are great. The furnishings are luxurious and the breakfast provided hit the spot. Great local information is provided.

We stayed at Sarah's cottage for a weekend break at the beginning of December. We felt comfortable and enjoyed our brief stay. The location was handy for what we needed, being a short drive to Evesham and a slightly longer drive to Worcester. Sarah was a very communicative & responsive host and made sure we were OK before and during our stay. Overall, we recommend this property.

Great cottage in a great location. The Fleece Inn is a fantastic little pub within walking distance and there are lots of pretty places to visit nearby. We were travelling with a baby so found it particularly helpful that the accommodation was child friendly and with a travel cot and other essentials provided this made our visit a lot less stressful. Would definitely come back and stay if we are ever planning another visit to the area

I had booked this beautiful cottage for my Son and his family to stay in whilst we had our family get-together to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary, and were not able to accommodate everyone in our house. They really enjoyed their stay and were very impressed with all that it had to offer, and they could walk to our house. They would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cottage. It is not very spacious, but the available space has been used in a smart way. The cottage is also very well equipped and has everything you might need, especially if you are traveling with a little one. There is no seating area around the house, but the communal garden offers plenty of chairs and tables and is only a short walk away. We should mention that the cottage is relatively near to the main road; the traffic can be heard clearly in the master bedroom when you are sleeping with the windows open. The location of the cottage is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and many of the typical Cotswolds towns such as Chipping Campden and Broadway are just a short drive away. But what makes this Airbnb really great is the people. First of all, the host Sarah is a great communicator and she is extremely helpful. There was a heatwave during our stay and she very thoughtfully arranged for two fans to be dropped off. The neighbors are also very kind, especially Dave and Cindy who live next door. We did a wonderful and relaxing private yoga session with Cindy in the garden, which we can really recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights with our two children (ages 3 years, and 8 months). The cottage was perfect for us, providing a great base to travel to various attractions/towns etc. The baby stayed with us in a travel cot in the front bedroom, and the toddler had the back bedroom, which had a small skylight with a blackout blind, making it ideal for putting a child to bed when it’s still light outside! And the door handles on the bedroom doors are too high for a small child to reach, so I didn’t have to worry about her getting out of bed in the night and falling down the stairs. Bed rails were also provided, as well as a child step and toilet seat, and child plates, bowls, cutlery and high chair. Sarah provided plenty of local information, and was quick to respond to any queries. We had a really lovely trip and would recommend staying here!

A lovely little house with everything we needed. Sarah was brilliant with the comms, sending me lists of local places to eat/to do/take the children etc. The house was amazingly child friendly with an actual blackout blind in the children’s bedroom (!) and all sorts of other bits & bobs like a baby bath, bed bumpers, travel cot etc which really made our trip easier. It's a few minutes walk to the pretty old bit of the village and the fabulous Fleece Inn, where we enjoyed an evening of Morris dancing & the Bretforton Silver Band. There's a local village shop and plenty to see and do within a few minutes drive. We may well be back. Thanks, Sarah.

Lovely little cottage in a nice village. 45 minute drive from Birmingham airport. The place was spotlessly clean and was perfect for two adults and an infant. Travel cot was set up when we arrived. Sarah was also able to accommodate late check out which was a huge help. We’d stay again!

Perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds! This cottage is lovely, decorated beautifully and has all you need for a cosy relaxing stay. We found the beds comfortable and the kitchen has all you need, the TV has a wide selection of channels included Netflix etc and there are a few board games to use in the foot stool. The Fleece inn, a few minutes walk away is definitely worth a visit. The community shop is also worth going to for any essentials you may need, the sausages and bacon they sell are yummy! Broadway, Chipping Campden and Bourton on the Water are lovely and if you can get to Stratford Upon Avon there is lots to do - I’d recommend hiring a boat for fun. The host Sarah is very friendly and helpful, kindly letting us check out later than usual as no one was due to stay directly after us which was amazing - definitely recommend staying here - thank you!

This is a really great little cottage. The bedrooms are a good size, beds are super comfy, shower is a serious power shower, great WiFi and kitchen has everything you’d need. There are lovely little touches like a welcome basket of bread, eggs and milk, and a basket of blankets to cosy up in - although if the heaters are on and the door curtain drawn then it’s very warm so you don’t need extra layers. The cottage is done up to a high standard and was spotless when we arrived. We also found the instructions for arrival and directions very helpful as the turn in is quite easy to miss among a row of houses!

We had a nice week at Sarah's cottage. We were already well informed in advance by Sarah about the location, arrival and amenities of the cottage. The Cottage was well prepared for our arrival. It is very cozy and equipped with everything we could wish for as a family of 3. The cottage is part of a ensemble of several cottages with a garden to share. We had a rental car, parking is available. The cottage is located in Bretforton. This is a small community in the Cotswolds from where you can start beautiful excursions. Worcester, Broadway, Warwick, Stratford etc. are easily accessible by car. A special highlight in the village is the "The Fleece Inn", a 15th century pub, within walking distance. Solid kitchen, great beer and top service. Sarah's cottage is highly recommended from our point of view - 5 star!

Our stay at Ashwin Court Cottage was perfect and Sarah is a superb host. The cottage itself is so cute, very comfortable and perfect for our weekend at the Cotswolds. We had a truly wonderful stay in this delightful little cottage. It was hard to leave it, and Bretforton, behind. We loved the way that Sarah maximized the use of the small space, very clever and tasteful design. This cottage has all you need for a few days in the Northern Cotswolds. Sarah is super responsive and helpful. Set in a small community of ~ 20 other quaint cottages the neighbours were also friendly and engaging. We suggest that whilst here you make a point of visiting the village pub, a 15th Century treasure with excellent food and drink. Also take a look in the community shop where you can pick up all you need, including wonderful bread (if you run out of the goodies that come with the cottage). A bit of a drive away, but worth the half hour trip is the Cotswolds Distillery - and the driver will get samples to go! We have every intention of returning to the cottage the next time we come back to the UK. Chris & Gill

Ashwin Court was the perfect bolt hole for our week away in The Cotswolds. It was a great location, with most places we visited being within a half hour drive, some were a little further away but the roads in and out were all quiet, with barely any traffic. Sarah recommended we book a meal at The Fleece, which we had done and it was deserving of the recommendations, the steak and ale pie was delicious, and brimming with good quality steak. Unfortunately I didn’t eat it all, wanting to save room for pudding, but then wished I’d eaten all my main instead as it was far nicer. The cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed for a pleasant, comfortable stay and it was also quiet of an evening. Sarah was very quick to answer any questions I had and was always really friendly in her replies. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarah and her cottage xx

What an absolutely beautiful cottage! From the moment we walked into the courtyard and were welcomed by the neighbours we felt at home and relaxed. The cottage itself is spotless, modern and has everything we could have asked for. Sarah was such a kind and welcoming host, the comms were brilliant and her recommendations about the local area were on point i.e. the pie at the Fleece Inn is worth the awards 👍. Sarah’s cottage is in a lovely quiet location, yet only a short drive from lots of wonderful places to visit. It has everything you might need, especially if self-catering, is immaculate, cosy and comfortable. The communal garden area is peaceful and relaxing and there are lovely local walks. We stayed at Ashwin Court Cottage for a weekend. Prior to arriving the joining instructions we were sent were great. When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely arrival pack. The cottage was immaculately clean and really stylish with lots of nice little touches. The kitchen was very well equipped (including crockery etc. for children) and the beds were super comfortable. Location wise it was great! Bretforton is a lovely village - there’s a great children’s playground within walking distance and The Fleece pub (also within walking distance) is definitely worth a visit (child friendly and tasty food). We didn’t make it to the village shop but apparently that’s great. We also explored a bit further afield - Evesham, Chipping Norton, Hidcote Manor, Broadway and the GWSR Heritage Railway (Broadway/Toddington/Cheltenham). We’d definitely stay there again as we loved the cottage, village and it’s location to explore more places from.

Fantastic little cottage on the edge of The Cotswolds close to all the popular villages/towns. Modern, clean and well equipped with everything you need for a home from home stay. Lovely furnishings and very comfy bed. Sarah the host is a fantastic source of information and super helpful. We will be sure to stay here again :)

We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s cottage! The cottage itself is cozy and full of thoughtful amenities, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The location is fantastic - just a short walk to the Fleece Inn and a short drive from pretty much everything in the Cotswolds.

This is a great place to stay. It’s a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, both comfy and very stylish. The location is great, too - a short walk away from a great pub and excellent local shop, with walks into beautiful countryside on the doorstep. Sarah was a great host. Check in was very straightforward, and everything worked well.
