Nice place, handy location, very responsive when we had a couple of minor issues. Only thing I would say is that perhaps a larger set of cutlery would be great as there was 5 of us staying and we ran out of cutlery very quickly. Other than that everything was great.

House needs some maintenance and the kitchen equipment and fridge were not clean. This was a bit unsettling. Otherwise the stay was just as we could have planned for.

Firstly the heating in the house was switched off. So it was 11degrees when we walked in on an icy cold night . The heating switch took an hour to be located after speaking to guest homes. Also the radiators in the bathrooms didnt work .they had to be fixed during our stay. Only one cleaning service for 32night stay. The oven wasnt working as the knobs broke and we couldn't use it through our our stay .lots of pet hair on carpets, curtains etc. Guest homes were responsive but not having heating on the day of check in is unacceptable. The house gets super hot after couple of hours of heating. Difficult to get the temperature right as there are pre set controls. Freezer door had to be repaired as well during the stay. No bins for recycling.Wifi didnt work for 2nights. We stayed for 32nights as the location ,parking and number of beds worked for us . Extra towels provided which is great and bedsheets are clean .mattress in one of the bedrooms is bad and gives back pain .

A lovely place to stay with the family. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the washing machine didn't work properly, leaving all the washing smelling bad, which was an inconvenience as I really needed to do washing with a young child, and because the bins outside were full to overflowing so we couldn't put our rubbish out, but when I mentioned these to the host, they were very responsive and were getting the washing machine checked the following day.

Kempsey is a nice village and is a great location for Malvern and Worcester. The house was perfect for a getaway.

Great size house and big garden, helpful to have 3 double beds for our stay seeing mother in a care home for Christmas, easy parking and perfect location for a dog friendly stay with a green nearby.
