Firstly this isn’t a private flat. It’s essentially a large room in shared accommodation. There are two doors that access the building both of which are continuously left unlocked, or even at times WIDE OPEN to the main road in Hereford. This “flat” is also on the ground floor so I did not feel safe or secure in light of that. I didn’t sleep whatsoever for the first night as people were coming and going every other hour slamming doors and stomping up stairs. I appreciate the host/ landlord cannot control the actions of others but do not be misled (like I was) by the listing into thinking that this is a private apartment. Amenties wise, whilst it was clean we had no water glasses or large dinner plates. Just two small side plates and mugs. The price of this flat is not worth what you get. I’ve had about 4 hours sleep in two days because I’ve essentially just stayed in something reminiscent of student accomodation.

The power shower is very weak. This is ok for a couple of nights but I was there on a training course for 3 weeks and so couldn’t get a decent shower before or after work. The sink in the bathroom is tiny and the tap is in the way of you using the sink properly etc. everything else fine though. The owners responded quickly to me when I had no hot water for a day. Parking is fine and out the way of the main roads. It was comfortable and warm and area is quiet.

I enjoyed my time at this property, and it was nice to be back in Hereford and see some old friends. The property is easily walkable to town, and about 20-25 minutes from the rail station. Lots of great restaurants nearby, highlight being the Beefy Boys. The property was suitable for me, and although there was an issue with the bathroom and it smelling of drains, the host were very responsive and helpful and said they would sort it quickly.

Nobody from Guest Homes have ever visited the Flat. All information is from a Cleaner. Terrible experience. Would not recommend them. Will never use them again.

An absolute go-to for anyone wanting to stay in Hereford. It is a 2 to 3 minute walk from the city centre but has good parking and is in a very quiet location (certainly wouldn’t know you’re in the city!). We will definitely be booking again soon.
