Decent flat, but was expecting slightly higher standard for what was paid. Not quite as well-kept as pictured. Bathroom sink didn’t drain, no shower gel or shampoo provided, hand wash and washing liquid hadn’t been refilled sufficiently, had to buy more toilet roll as only one roll provided. Good location, just expected higher standard for the price.

Clean, warm and nicely laid out. In a quiet location but central. Lack of some basic facilities like hand towels, bath mat, a blanket for the bed, coffee pot for two people, lamps in the living room & a blind for bedroom window, made it feel less cosy than some places.

This Airbnb is very well located for anyone who wants to be able to walk Into Great Malvern or the Malvern Hills. It is also close to the NT property at Croome & Worcester. We had a few minor issues while staying at the property, but the hosts were responsive and helpful and resolved them all. With the minor issues resolved, this property is a good value option for anyone wanting to explore the local area & has plenty of space for a couple / a couple with a young child.

5 minute walk from Malvern's cute high street with all its shops and restaurants as well as the Malvern hills themselves. large living room kitchen, kitted out with all the appliances to prepare simple meals. large double bed which was reasonably comfortable. Could have been cleaner, empty wine bottles (not mine I swear!) hidden in a kitchen cupboard and a few small stains on bedding which was unfortunate. Also no washing up liquid or bathroom toiletries which felt a little stingy. Good Comms with Guest Homes.

Property is managed by a company: Would have given a better rating had it not been for the inconvenience of having a freezing cold flat & to contact the company & demonstrate with a child’s room thermometer that the that the room was 15.8 degrees (we had to get a room thermometer & fan heater from the local Argos store!) Someone came after over 2 hours to fix the issue! Luckily we bought the fan heater. Accommodation itself is ok but very dark, even in the day time & you need to have lights on all day, even though the flat is on the top floor. Windows are small & there are big trees obstructing the light on one side.(no need to worry about there not being blinds or curtains - you have good enough privacy) Thanks to previous reviewers we took a few extra lamps! The sloping ceiling can cause discomfort when you are trying do anything in the kitchen area especially if you are over 5foot 6. I bumped my head a few times! (So my taller partner had an excuse not to come to the kitchen area!) The sofa was not the most comfortable (esp if you want to relax after long walks in the Malvern hills) Facilities are ok- kitchen is equipped for very basic cooking with just about enough utensils. Adequate crockery & cutlery. There is a washing machine: which was disgustingly mouldy! Bathroom nice n big with a good sized bath & decent shower, but be careful the wash basin is right next to the toilet so keep the toilet lid down at ALL times. Location is ok & availability of parking space is good. Overall rating .. Meh…. 50/50 (you read the reviews & decide)

Overall a nice setup. Host was available via phone to sort out some minor issues that we had. No fire escape from the flat, which I found a bit odd considering its geometry and placement within the building.

We stayed for three nights in July. There are good things and bad things about this flat, and whilst the communication with the hosts was good we wouldn’t, I don’t think, stay there again. If you want somewhere with a hotel feel then it’d be fine but we wanted somewhere more homely and inviting to stay in, or else we’d have chosen to stay in a hotel. PROS: Great location for Malvern, super close. Easy shaded parking and easy check in and out. CONS: You can tell it’s a company and not a private listing because the flat is devoid of anything remotely homely and welcoming. It’s more like a hotel - sachets of milk, you get a tiny useless bottle of Fairy etc. No lamps, no books or games, literally just a TV and sofa, bed, etc. Quite a sparse kitchen - really limited cookware etc. As others have mentioned the lack of window coverings made it quite tricky to sleep well and also meant we couldn’t keep out the sun.

Lovely comfortable flat, close to the center of town. As per others feedback, the home is nicely decorated but is missing some basics, blinds or curtains as the living room can be overlooked by flat 7, table or floor lamp in the living room would improve the decor, free soap/shampoo in the bathroom. However these are minor issues but the outside really needs looking at as the exterior looks like a building site...not a very good first impression.

This is a spacious apartment for two in a very quiet location less than ten minutes walk from the centre of Great Malvern. Lots of parking available. Comfortable bed. It needed a couple of finishing touches in our opinion. 1. There were no window coverings at all, even in the bedroom (though that was a small window with a tree just outside so wasn't too light in the morning). 2. The lounge area really needed a lamp or two. There was only a single ceiling light which was inadequate for reading and was far from cosy. 3. Very few cooking pans / utensils were provided.

Our 2nd stay in Malvern and Hilltop House was as delightful as our 1st stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, quiet and very well located for everything Malvern offers - dining, shopping and transportation. This will definitely be a part of our next visit to Worcestershire and the West Midlands experience!

We stayed here for a few days to visit the area and enjoy walking in the hills. Positives.... Great location for Great Malvern Town, restaurants, shops and walking in the hills. Clean appartment. Good communication with owners Negatives Very dark outside building, we couldn't locate the key locker on arrival as it was dark and no lighting outside building. The building has numerous flats inside and looked a bit shabby in the entrance, people's mail everywhere and damaged letterboxes. The apartment itself was very dark and we could see nothing when we opened the apartment door, and it was absolutely freezing cold.. Why no one thought to put the heating on in advance for guests arrival in December... Took a few hours to warm up! The extractor hood in the kitchen didn't work but we did explain to the owner and he was going to get maintenance to look at it. The bath/shower dated and very basic could do with updating in line with the rest of the bathroom/appartment. Fridge blocked at the back. Sorry wouldn't return

This has been my very first time using Air B&B. At first I was skeptical using the platform but guest homes made my experience a positive one & I can see myself using the platform & hopefully stay at more guest homes properties. The people at Guest Homes are Friendly and great at communicating.

This apartment is conveniently located and very quiet. A short walk will get you to the train station or to restaurants, shopping, the Malvern Priory and beautiful parks - and trails into St. Ann's Well and the Malvern Hills. We are recommending this flat even to ourselves, when we return this will be our first choice!

A comfortable, clean and very quiet apartment in a convenient location for exploring Malvern. Good communication from owners. I would say that the photos are a tad misleading as they portray a light, bright airy apartment when actually it’s quite dark with small windows which surprised me. I needed to have the lights switched on even on a bright sunny day. Not a big deal if you just want a bed for the night but it didn't quite have the feel I was hoping for. Still a great base for exploring the area though.

Staying a couple of nights for a wedding. We arrived late in the evening and noticed a very foul smell hit us upon entering the property. The hallway carpet outside the bathroom soaking wet and smelly, so could've been like this for some time. We had to either keep our shoes on or try and leap over this wet patch! Reported this the next day to Guest Homes who were responsive but ultimately couldn't get a plumber out to take a look as it was the weekend. Although why the cleaning team didn't report this before we arrived I don't know - would've given us a chance to rebook. This spoilt our stay, but hopefully it's resolved and they get the carpets cleaned / replaced before it is let out again! A shame, otherwise good location, quiet, plenty of parking and a pretty nicely sized and kitted-out loft apartment, although not the best mattress to sleep on.

This is a lovely apartment perfect for 4 guest, plenty of space yet super cosy! Loads of private parking space outside, great wifi and it’s very clean. You have everything you need from towels to tea and coffee and even a hoover, for the price I think it is an amazing accommodation and much bigger than we anticipated, will definitely love to stay again! Thank you guest homes!

Location is ideal, and easy access to parking at the property was great. However, there was poor communication with the host(s) which resulted in some tricky and stressful situations. Also, check out time on the official email regarding their property says 11am but the host(s) messaged me saying check out time was at 10am and only replied an hour before even though I queried this the day before check out. Stunning area though and good shops around. To keep in mind: comfortable but small property.
