Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Cleanliness and Maintenance. We recently stayed at this property with our children, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. The biggest letdown was the poor cleanliness of the property, especially in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was dirty, with grime in places that hadn’t been cleaned for a while, and we even found leftover crumbs and stains in some areas. This made it uncomfortable to use, especially when preparing meals for our children. The bathroom was equally concerning, with visible mold in some areas and a general lack of hygiene. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned between guests. The damaged plaster on the walls only added to the overall neglected feel of the place, making it look run-down and in need of maintenance. Communication was good and check in was easy! Would like to say I am very disappointed with my stay. We were a group of 10 staying for two nights and honestly none of us were pleased. Kitchen table was filthy, blinds in majority of room were falling apart, bed had sand in and covered in stains, a lingering odour throughout the property, damp on the walls and many other things that was very disgusting and dirty. Do not stay here! The reviews seemed okay, with Guest Homes saying they would remedy any issues. I emailed them after booking for reassurance place would be clean & well equipped for 4 guests. They assured me it would be. From moment we arrived we had issues, place was visibly dirty - bits over the floors, old food remnants on worktops, dirty crockery and utensils. No washing up liquid to clean anything. GHs said they don't provide any, then did a u-turn saying cleaner had left some with a photo (they hadn't). We had to buy some to clean anything before we could use it. Only 3 forks, despite being a booking of 4. Freezer drawers still broken (despite a previous guest having flagged this). Broken shower head. Unflushed toilet, and broken lid that closed on you while on toilet. Blocked ensuite shower drain. Broken bedroom door, shutting my friend inside all night - had to be forced from outside (extreme fire hazard) - GHs had been told by previous guest about this. Awful experience.

Good place to stay but remember there is no garden or bay parking and found Broken Dining chair, one broken container inside freezer and found lots of small tiny flies in the kitchen area may be due to improper cleaning and ventilation. Overall, good for large family to stay over for week and all the amenities are in easy reach. 🤗👌

Honestly it was a nightmare to stay here after opening the door we had a horrible smell come at us after going to to find some watermelon left on the side with ants and flies all over the kitchen then looking in the rooms we found the place in need of a uplift in the bedroom with the sofa bed the was a massive hole in it and ripped wall paper as well as ants all over the room then other guest tried to go into there room and one got locked in the room with us unable to open it for 10+ minutes and there advice was to try a-bit harder after complaining about all this they took 5 days to come to a resolution which is unacceptable. On the first night there we came out to find slugs all over the kitchen and front door the place is just disgusting DO NOT STAY HERE I never booking any place managed by this company.

Over our stay, we raised multiple concerns right from Day 1 and none of them were addressed. The accommodation was no where near to what was advertised. The whole situation made it really difficult for us to stay in the property as a group. Issues were listed on the go and photographs were sent as requested. 1. The basin was blocked 2. The heating was intermittent and rooms were quite cold. The instructions sent were not helpful. 3. The downstairs toilet was blocked 4. The shower was broken Though these issues were raised, none were addressed and clearly this property was no where near to fit for purpose. For the fee charged, this is no where near to worth the money

Decent enough, rooms well kept. Lounge area and kitchen was quite small. Be prepared to bring your own stuff, like soaps, tea/coffee, pans, etc.

Smooth check in, lots of parking spaces around if you are driving. Host is very responsive. Coming to the property itself, was clean on the inside but the backyard had a lot of garbage dumped from before. The washroom downstairs had d bathtub screen lose so if u try to move it, it comes out lose. No extractor fans in the bathroom so you have to open the windows but then get insects coming in. The en-suite toilet had drainage issues, particularly the shower cubicle which took some time to drain the water before it could be reused by someone.

It was a very small place unlike shown in pictures. The washrooms were very small and the kitchen was not well equipped. Even after confirming the facilities available from the host, it was not there and when asked about it no action was taken. All in all wont recommend to anyone.

overall the stay was okay. As a place to sleep and shower its fine. However there was a few hygiene issues. One of the pillow cases had mold on it and there was still a bin bag from a previous occupant. only one bathroom upstairs (the ensuite) but all in all it was an alright stay. TV and Kitchen was great and the beds were very comfy.

The accommodation was a great size with very comfortable beds! Nice location for what we needed and the lockboxes meant we could check-in anytime and members of our group could arrive separately. Clean with good facilities, suited us just right.

This has the potential to be a nice property, but unfortunately the living space is very small and not very homely, and it feels like the host has done the bare minimum to make the property acceptable for people staying. There were several things missing or broken: there wasn’t enough cutlery, the kitchen bin was broken and there were no other bins in the property, the toilet seat kept self-closing which was incredibly annoying, there was a constant drip in the en-suite, with no cold water in the en-suite sink, and the downstairs bedroom door doesn’t close properly. The dining chairs were dirty, so had to be cleaned on arrival and the general cleanliness in the living space wasn’t as high as other air bnbs we’ve stayed at, especially with a £100 cleaning fee. The fridge door opens the wrong way which was awkward and there was no blind in the bathroom which was odd. The bathrooms were awkward as the main bathroom is downstairs through the kitchen meaning anyone in the upstairs bedrooms had a long way to go if they needed the loo in the night. The living space isn’t big enough for the 8-10 people the property sleeps and it was very cramped trying to eat in the kitchen and sit in the living room, we ended up splitting with half of us sitting in the downstairs bedroom which wasn’t ideal. The bedrooms are lovely and spacious and I think the property has a lot of potential if more effort was made but it needs better living space. The property was in a good location for exploring Swansea.

The house it’s self was nice with some spacious rooms and exactly as the photos showed. Only a couple issues really, 1 being only one toilet roll which is really so bad to be honest and two is that the place it’s self wasn’t exactly clean, there was a lot of dust and dirt throughout the whole house and a bit of rubbish/used tissues that had been left behind one the drawers. Again not a crazy issue but for a £100 cleaning fee I would like the place to actually be clean when I arrive and not have to clean it myself. Thanks.

Lovely walks around the marina . Took a taxi to the mumbles and a train to Tenby defentily recommend.

Good location to visit South Wales from, we visited Three Cliffs bay and Barry island from here. Bedrooms are big and comfortable. Whilst the bedrooms were clean, the living areas, floors and bathrooms were grubby. The smell from the many rotting bin bags in the garden was also unpleasant coming into the house. Washing machine had muddy water in it so we couldn't use it. The place is nice but just needs that extra effort to make it perfect. However good cancellation policy as we had to leave a day earlier.

The house is nice and clean, its good size and perfect for a big family. The only downside was the basic amenities were missing which are always there in Airbnb, especially when you pay such decent amount for large property. We had buy lots of small things from local shop like toilet rolls, kitchen towels, handwash, sugar, tea , however once I mentioned this I was refunded some a small amount so fair play!!! But its usually expected to be there, otherwise the location is great and house is really good size !!! Thanks.

Location is close to town and also not too far from the country side with Brecon Beacons only a 40-45 minutes drive away which was convenient for us. Lots of space to park your car outside the house. The place itself is nice and clean. The bedrooms are the best feature with a good amount of space. Kitchen and living area is a bit too cosy if you have a big group. Have given feedback to the owners to put in place simple amenities such as hand wash, washing up liquid, laundry detergent, shower gel and stock up the tea/coffee/sugar tins. They agreed on request to compensate by allowing a late checkout though I got a cheeky request for a payment of £25 for this which I declined! Overall, a positive experience. Would highly recommend and happy to stay here again in the future :)

Great location, and great accommodation for a family - stairs are a bit steep for the older generation (but there's a bedroom downstairs anyway). Would stay here again
