The master bedroom features a super king bed and the second bedroom features a super king and a large single. Both bedrooms feature a dressing table with stool and a freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers to store your personal items. With sumptuous bedding and luxury linen you are guaranteed a peaceful night sleep. Before you head off, why not enjoy some viewing on the Smart TV? Both super-king beds can be split into two singles upon request.

The apartment is home to two bathrooms. The master bathroom features a bath, shower, WC and basin while the second is a shower room with WC and basin.
The backlit mirror in the master bathroom has a bluetooth connection so you can connect your favourite playlist and enjoy a sing-along in the bath.
Chilton at Carlil features a small manicured garden area to the front of the property and benefits from on site private parking for up to one vehicle, a real luxury in Whitby.

The apartment definitely met expectations. It was exactly as pictured and very clean. The location is great, with wonderful views, right by the whale bone arch and a short walk to the centre of all the action. It had everything we needed and a few extras. A few negatives… although a parking space is included, which was very helpful, it is down a very narrow road behind the building and next to a pole, which made it quite tricky to get in and out of. We also got blocked in one day and another day, when we returned, a work van had parked in the space. The day the work van had been in the reserved parking space, unfortunately we discovered that someone had been in the apartment while we were out and had left visible signs that they had used the toilet. This was disappointing and felt a bit unsafe. We weren’t sure why they were in there, we weren’t notified and a note wasn’t left. A very small thing but the plug in the bath wouldn’t release. Would stay again and would recommend..

Beautiful apartment, well equipped with everything you might need. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Easy to check in. Modern fully equipped kitchen and very spacious. Photos do not fully show how spacious the apartment is. Very comfy beds, good bathrooms and powerful showers. The apartment itself is located in quiet area within easy reach of the town with loads of bars and restaurants. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful few days here. The property was immaculate and spacious. It's in an excellent location, just a short walk downhill to the harbour with restaurants and cafes. The flat felt really opulent and the beds were extremely comfortable. Incredible showers - my daughter now wants a monsoon shower!! The only negative issue we had, really, was frustration at the requested £25 payment after booking to cover potential damage although this is upfront on the property page and is the same for most properties in Whitby. There was a lovely welcome package, the parking space worked really well for us - it's not a huge space, but really handy to have somewhere for the car. Regular communication from Host&Stay as well. It was an excellent experience.
