The apartment definitely met expectations. It was exactly as pictured and very clean. The location is great, with wonderful views, right by the whale bone arch and a short walk to the centre of all the action. It had everything we needed and a few extras. A few negatives… although a parking space is included, which was very helpful, it is down a very narrow road behind the building and next to a pole, which made it quite tricky to get in and out of. We also got blocked in one day and another day, when we returned, a work van had parked in the space. The day the work van had been in the reserved parking space, unfortunately we discovered that someone had been in the apartment while we were out and had left visible signs that they had used the toilet. This was disappointing and felt a bit unsafe. We weren’t sure why they were in there, we weren’t notified and a note wasn’t left. A very small thing but the plug in the bath wouldn’t release. Would stay again and would recommend..

Beautiful apartment, well equipped with everything you might need. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Easy to check in. Modern fully equipped kitchen and very spacious. Photos do not fully show how spacious the apartment is. Very comfy beds, good bathrooms and powerful showers. The apartment itself is located in quiet area within easy reach of the town with loads of bars and restaurants. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely be back.

Lovely flat and great location. Living area was as described. Comfortable for a family of 4. They lose a mark because of having to pay insurance for breakages plus cleaning fee addition not mentioned on listing.

We had a wonderful few days here. The property was immaculate and spacious. It's in an excellent location, just a short walk downhill to the harbour with restaurants and cafes. The flat felt really opulent and the beds were extremely comfortable. Incredible showers - my daughter now wants a monsoon shower!! The only negative issue we had, really, was frustration at the requested £25 payment after booking to cover potential damage although this is upfront on the property page and is the same for most properties in Whitby. There was a lovely welcome package, the parking space worked really well for us - it's not a huge space, but really handy to have somewhere for the car. Regular communication from Host&Stay as well. It was an excellent experience.

A great apartment which is well equipped. Fantastic views of the cliff top and sea from the living room. Easy walking distance to the town centre or beach. Really enjoyed our stay.

Second time staying here and it is perfect for us (2 adults & 3 children). Everything you could need for a self catering holiday, very well equipped apartment/kitchen with a large family size fridge/freezer and the location is fab. Very clean and lots of pillows/towels. There is a supermarket 5 mins drive away and the walk into Whitby town is 10mins. We will be booking again for next year! Thank you.

We had an absolutely fantastic 2 night stay here on the West Cliff. Cannot fault the apartment it was so well equipped with everything we needed, and the luxury extras that made it such an enjoyable time. Location is spot on, with a sea view from the living space area. You get your own very grand front door on the crescent, we felt very posh! You get your own free parking space right at the back entrance to the building which I can tell from mooching about the area is a luxury in the middle of Whitby. We were so close to everything we wanted, just popping back wasn't an issue at all after we got sandy or wet from the crashing waves. 10/10 :)

A fabulous apartment with everything you could need for a comfortable stay (we were 2 adults and 3 kids, no high chair though which would have been good). Very clean with good quality fittings and furniture, high end appliances including large fridge/freezer which is ideal for a self-catered break and a very well equipped kitchen, all the utensils/crockery you could need. Pictures don’t do it justice! Much more spacious in real life, lovely big beds and lots of pillows. Great location too, within few minutes walking distance to the beach and town. Lovely to have milk, bread and cookies on arrival too, this was a lovely touch. The only reason I didn’t score 5 is because the parking situation is not accurate - as of 1/8/22 the allocated parking bay is not ready and not signed up so we struggled to find the space - we called Host & Stay who advised where the space is but it overlapped a neighbours space and they came knocking and were very irate! We ended up parking elsewhere. BUT this has not put me off staying here again as the apartment and location is definitely worth it, just something to be aware of before arrival especially if you have a big car. Highly recommend this apartment for a lovely stay.

Fantastic location close to the beach but still fairly quiet. This is a lovely flat with sea views and spacious rooms with high quality fittings. We were glad that some essentials were provided as well. However, parking and entrance instructions need to be corrected and provided ahead of the stay.

Amazing sea facing apartment at most beautiful location of Whitby. I visited with family (2 adults + 2 kids) and it was perfect to accommodate all of us. Very well presented, stylish apartment with all amazing list of features. My family in love with the apartment and wish to visit again.
