lovely accomodation in beautiful tranquil location, we had alot of issues with the heating which we ended up sorting ourselves, Host and Stay tried to resolve housekeeping issues without success, but iI have to say the owner of the property went above and beyond when the housekeeper let the hosts down . I know this property is due to be refurbished shortly and won't hesitate to stop here again especially under it's new owners but hopefully with better housekeeping staff.

The Lodge was fabulous definite wow factor, unfortunately the standard of repair and cleanliness was extremely poor. Broken window stay in twin bedroom, broken cupboard stay in kitchen. Insufficient cutlery and crockery, dirty pans, stained bedding in double bedroom, spider nests in pans, spider webs in cupboards. Headboard not connected to bed, no hand towels, only one tea towel. No information pack. Spoke to owners who immediately rectified what they could but the property was clearly not inspected or cleaned properly prior to our arrival.

Lovely place with lots of wildlife and farm animals. New owners are very helpful. We had difficulty finding the place. It's on a farm track just off the main road.

A lovely place to stay in beautiful surroundings. Peaceful but close enough to Scarborough and Filey if you want a bit of seaside entertainment. Really comfy beds too so slept like a baby. Hosts were very communactive. All the mod cons in the kitchen. Couldn't fault the place

DREADFUL EXPERIENCE. Arrived to find Host&Stay's property filthy. Dirty marks on tables and surfaces and food and dirt on the carpets throughout. We complained and a cleaner came 2 hours later so we didnt unpack until late as the place was disgusting. Dont trust Host&Stay. They provided a false and inaccurate listing. It stated the property had wifi, and the online info they sent me gave details how to connect to wifi. In the property there was also details how to connect to wifi. When we failed to connect, Host&Stay gave several different responses until they finally said there is no wifi as the area doesnt have wifi. They failed to take any responsibility to listing inaccurate and false info and all they did was apologise we didnt have wifi. Not helpful as we were helpless. Thank goodness Airbnb supported us to leave early and be financially compensated as Host&Stay took no responsibility. Horrendous stay. Host&Stay cant be trusted. I will NEVER use them again.

Our second stay at this accomodatiin and again we found it spotlessly clean they only comment I could make is that the indoor windows and blinds are well overdue for a clean. The property is exactly as the pictures and is in a lovely location and well equipped. All in all a pleasant stay, car required to stay here though as quite rural.

A lovely sized and situated apartment if somewhat a little hard to spot on the main road. Good parking and plenty of green space around. Apartment a little dated but very comfy and well equipped and clean.

The amount of space and light in the property was great and the location was perfect for us to visit nearby family. Unfortunately when we arrived at the property there were a lot of flies (although there was a UV light on to catch them) and all of the surfaces and floor in and around the kitchen felt sticky. We also didn't have any hot water in the kitchen for the first two nights, only from the shower.

This Lodge has various issues and we do not recommend it. Hopefully the issues can be sorted by the owner.

What a great weekend. Spotlessly clean. Everthing you could need was thought of. Would recommend to anyone. A beautiful home and great location. 5 star all the wat.
