Bit of a mixup at check in as it looks like host and stay hadnt communicated with the owner. However the owner had helpfully left their contact details in the welcome pack. A quick phone call to the helpful owner and everything was sorted. Property was quiet and as advertised. Kitchen well stocked.

Lovely little cottage in village of Moorsholm in great location for Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. Loved the sound of the church bells. Would have been great to have a small welcome pack with milk as we arrived late and there was no shop in the immediate area. Would definitely return

Very cosy cottage in peaceful location. Clean throughout, plenty of parking on street and short drive to variety of restaurants, beaches etc.. Responsive and helpful host. Family of 4 with 2 Dogs, lovely stay

Lovely property in a lovely area and a perfect little family getaway. Shame the guides were extremely out dated, shower cut out and note on the shower screen saying do no adjust height - set very low. No heating instructions. Property was cold when arrived and it took over 24hrs for the storage heaters to warm up. There were 2 mini electric heaters. There was a lovely touch of a treasure hunt for our 7 year old left out which stated a prize had been left in a cupboard above the microwave, however, this wasn’t the case - disappointed child. No mop in the kitchen and light over cooker doesn’t work. Has the potential to be an amazing property, but attention to details were missing on this occasion and could easily be rectified.

We had a lovely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. The location was excellent with lots to do. Beautiful walks and close to the sea. We had brunch at the bistro next door one day- highly recommend. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay.

We spent a lovely few days at Honeysuckle Cottage. The location was very peaceful- handy for exploring up and down the coast, whilst offering a quiet retreat from the crowds at the end of the day. The cottage itself was comfortable and very quaint, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you.

What a little gem this cottage is! The village is lovely, locals friendly and a great Bistro next door . Ideally situated for trips to Saltburn and Whitby etc and the lovely countryside and moors . Will definitely be back . Thank you Margaret for your thoughtful hosting

Very cosy base to explore N Yorks gorgeous seaside towns and NT properties. Less crowded than south/s west coastal towns. Peaceful - even with the quaint church bell chiming in the time!

Nice quiet location. Could do with a kitchen and bathroom upgrade to make it the usual host and stay quality. Shower switches itself on and off randomly and should be replaced.

The place is cute, cosy and works well for a family. I would say it’s nicer than the pictures! The village is very small and without amenities but it’s peaceful and close to the sea.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need, especially if you have a baby. Great base for Saltburn, Whitby and everything in between. The owner (not sure of their name) helped me get a hat back I had left too - just wish they didn’t use a third party for booking and normal comms as it was so hard to get questions properly answered. But wouldn’t put us off staying again- lovely place!
