This is a lovely space and the decor was well chosen. It is really spacious. There was an issue with some damp and mould and I think this place suffers as it is a basement apartment. I think this should be made more clear in the listing. Redcar itself is a little run down. Prefer some of the other places on that coast such as Staithes, Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay and even Loftus.

Wow what a great place, great decor, huge, great bathrooms and bedrooms and living space! Really felt at home. Only thing that could be improved was the kitchen, in need of an upgrade but apart from that, our stay was great thanks xx

Really enjoyed our stay here, we know the area well and visit family and this is the best accommodation that we have stayed at. It’s right on the seafront and 10 min walk from the station.

Communication from start to finish was fantastic. Wow the property was fantastic, exactly like description and photos. It catered for our big family visiting family, a home from home. Thank you so much, we will defiantly use this property again.

Huge lovely apartment, very clean and tidy. The only thing I could suggest is to have blackout blinds in the bedrooms. Would stay here for sure.

Do not stay here!!! The house is full of damp and absolutely stinks. They have attempted to mask this with an unnecessary amount of air fresheners. Soaked wet and stained carpets in the main bedroom. Mould up the wall in main bedroom. All plates cutlery and cups needed washing before use as they were dirty. Left in the hallway were coffee cups with floating mould in. This property is spacious and that’s about the only positive. Can’t stay somewhere which is a risk to your health. Don’t book, you’ll regret it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host communicated quickly and answered all our questions regarding the property and our stay. There was mentions of damp in previous reviews and this was our main concern. They assured us the issue had been resolved and it had. We have stayed in many air bnbs and also other sites offerings but honestly this one stands out for us as genuinely feeling homely. We didn't want to leave. The place is massive and will sleep 7 without feeling in the least bit cramped. You have your own parking space and the beach literally over the road, what is not to like? We will definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Unfortunately the apartment was damp and full of mould Airbnb have been amazing but unfortunately the hosts are yet to still respond to my complaint my husband suffered after visit with his asthma black mould in window next to bed my child couldn’t sleep in it. The apartment smells so bad of damp and water was coming down the walls in the living room, very disappointing the hosts do not take health issues seriously.

Regency Mansions in Redcar, Cleveland is on the sea front with parking space to the rear of the property which is ideal, but if i was able to smell the damp before I booked the accommodation i would never of booked to stay there. I suffer from breathing problems with asthma and copd, the smell of damp hits you as soon as you open the door to the property, it's then tried to be masked by air freshers which clearly will not work! Grubby soft furnishings, damp walls making wallpaper lift, bathroom's have black mould visible around bath and screen, toilet seats are all broken, toilet cleaning brushes disgusting and need replacing. Not a healthy place to stay and since I stayed ive been poorly with my chest due to the damp.

The flat felt somewhat regal. There is so much space whilst still having a cosy feel. With the added bonus of Sky TV there is plenty of channels to entertain a whole family. The location is perfect as you just have to cross the road to get to the beach. We felt very spoiled! Having a parking space made our stay so much easier. Would 100% love to return.

Second visit here. Lovely apartment very relaxing, love the decor and large rooms. Very clean on arrival apart from a couple of very large cobwebs but to be honest the apartment is massive and a job well done. The only other point on cleaning internally was when we lifted the blinds there were a decent number of little dead flies on the window sills. Easily missed if you don't pull the blinds up. 9 out 10 for cleanliness inside. Outside is quite scruffy on the steps leading to apartment this has been mentioned before and wouldn't take much cleaning. The scaffolding still being up spoils the appearance, nothing the owner can do about the scaffolding. Creates an instant bad impression of what is a wonderful apartment. Bedrooms are massive as is front / dining room and nicely fitted and decorated. Kitchen is small but functional, could really do with more pots and pans. Appliances in the kitchen are great. Lovely warm apartment, can't believe how quickly it heats up. We'll return.

Very spacious property - inside looks exactly like the pictures (but bigger!). There is no parking permit, so worth noting a daily parking fee will be applied for parking on the seafront. There is scaffolding up across the whole building making it unrecognisable and blocking the view slightly, but once you're inside this is a great property for a family. Value for money is excellent and the location cannot be beaten.

The apartment inside was lovely. Nice decor and spacious. Nice little touches. However, i did have to do a little self clean as it wasn't to my standards. Mold in the freezer door, some cutlery still dirty and bath tub a lil grubby. Broken toilet, also the smell of damp is very much present in most rooms especially the kitchen. The steps leading to the apartment was full of bird 💩 which could easily be removed to make it look a bit more presentable and as mentioned in another review the scaffolding is a bit of an eyesore which maybe should be mentioned in the listing. Anyways, apart from that it was a nice place to stay, a beautiful size apartment. Redcar itself, not so much to do there but suppose you can always find your own personal enjoyment/entertainment.

Need lots of Health & Safety updates before it is suitable for occupancy. Not only could I not safely get my daughters pram up and down the entrance stairs due to a scaffold being in the centre of the stairs, the door was not a fire door and had there been a fire, we would have been unable to exit the property as the fire windows were blocked by scaffolding so any full size adult would not be able to get out. Nice property but terrible experience unfortunately due to many failures.

Very spacious apartment, communication was good and check in was very efficient. Lots of space to spreadout and everything you might need is provided. The fridge in the kitchen has been removed (simply leaving a gap where it should have been) and another fridge has been placed in the utility room - not ideal but workable. The kitchen cupboards are showing their age, and as there is no ventilation in any of the bathrooms there is a bit of a damp/musty smell. Good Location right on the Seafront as well, plus the parking is extremely handy.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures... The rooms feel even bigger than they look on the website! An amazingly spacious and comfortable flat on the seafront. The 5 and 6 year old loved the space they had to play about. Flat was clean and everything felt well tended for. Recommended!

The Regency Mansions Apartment in Redcar, a basement apartment, was very spacious and well equipped plus we found it very comfortable. There were a couple of minor niggles within, that we found on arrival, but the Stay team were very responsive to resolve, and we enjoyed our break. Per a previous reviewer comments the building remained with scaffolding up when we visited, but that does not impact inside. The long sandy beach was just across the road. A bonus was a rock pool area at low tide which was nice to explore.

This apartment is lovely inside! However, the outside is currently completely covered in scaffolding, which is not shown in the pictures. This was not a major issue for us but it is an eye sore. Location is amazing as it’s right opposite the beach. Every room is pretty big and clean, apart from one of the toilets when we first entered 🤢 Aside from this, was a great stay and I would recommend for someone staying here, as long as it is a bit cleaner next time.

The place was much bigger than we thought it would be, plenty of space for our toddler to potter about and we all had separate bathrooms which the teenager loved.
