The flat was in a lovely location with wonderful views of the beach and Abbey. The bedrooms were well furnished with high quality pieces and the beds were extremely comfortable and clean.

We all had a lovely stay at this location. The only Thing was the oven was hard to put on and the cot bed that was put up kept collapsing, and the ironing board didn’t flatten out. But overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The apartment is large and comforably furnished with plenty of room and plenty of storage space. The two seperate toilets, one with a shower and the other with a large bath make life easy for bigger family groups. The kitchen is well equiped with cooker, microwave, etc, and plenty of untensils, but sadley we could only find one saucepan, which makes it difficult to cook your own meals. The parking permit supplied was very welcome........... we just parked up and didn't use the car all the time we were there. This saved at least £33.00 The location is just about right being close enough to the centre of Whitby to allow easy access but still in a quieter part of the town. It's also close to the amenities of West Cliff with its Skateboard Park, childrens Paddling Pool and Whitby Beach.

We visited Dales place as a family of 2 adults and 2 children, we all found it great, it was very clean and airy. it was very windy when there and the windows were great at blocking out the sound etc. I would say that if you struggle with stairs, it might be a bit hard for you to get to, but for us this wasn't a problem.

Perfect location for visiting Whitby and sandsend. The flat is clean and cosy with lots of space. The kids slept 12 hours in the bunk beds after a day of exploring the beach! Easy to find. Free parking outside. Clear communication from host via app. Thank you!

Just what the doctor ordered. Great location and apartment was very homely and cosy. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Dale was very responsive. Would highly recommend and can't wait to return ssssshhhh don't tell everyone about this hidden gem 😉

The flat was large and the location was great. But housekeeping felt very slapdash. This is the first time we have ever arrived at a holiday let and found no bin liner in the bin and none left anywhere, and there was rubbish from the last guests in the bathroom (e.g empty mouthwash bottle). Cleaning was ok but it felt cursory, for instance the bathroom sinks could have done with a spray and wipe down and the living room floor looked as if it could have done with more vacuuming. There were also maintenance issues. The main lightbulb in the bedroom was flickering horribly, and blind broken. One of the plugs in the kitchen not working. It felt as if whoever was in charge of changeover didn't care very much! We also had to chase Home and Stay for the address and key code to get in the night before arriving as despite being regularly spammed with messages from them (especially when they wanted the additional cleaning deposit to be paid) they hadn't bothered to share this information.

Loved staying here, and so close to the beach and town. Car parking is right next door so easy for settling in and for trips out. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

This was really well located & just as described. Pleased we decided to stay in this area as it was well within walking distance of the harbour & main attractions. Lovely views from lounge & kitchen & whilst there was no direct parking the car park behind the property, West Cliff had spaces so we’re able to park there easily. Helped by a parking permit available in the apartment. Would definitely recommend it if you want relaxation & peace away from the hustle & bustle unyet close by if you want it! Great equipped kitchen & the en suite shower was fabulous!

Apartment was as described and in an absolutely fantastic location. Some of the pictures didn’t match the description so messaged to check and it was clear from there. Parking permit was hard to find at first but a quick call settled the matter brilliantly. Be careful when pricing to factor in the cleaning fee within budgets. Apartment was brilliant but sometimes the cleaning fee appears as a slightly hidden charge and you only see it when processing towards booking.

After booking the host sent us an external link asking to pay extra for damage waiver/deposit (even though Airbnb provides Aircover which includes damage protection for all hosts by default). We got surprised as at the time of booking there was no mention of the extra fees value. Talking to the host was unsuccessful, so we escalated it to the Airbnb Support who agreed the host was violating the policy by taking extra charges without mentioning those (incl. its value) in the listing & price breakdown at the time of booking. Airbnb paid us the amount to pay the host for the damage waiver. Now the host corrected this listing, it now shows the extra fees & their values. Other listings of this host are still not specifying the amount they take extra in ‘damage waiver/ deposit’ so be vigilant. At the place we had to wash the plates, towels had stains. No cooking oil, no scissors, no cafetière/coffee maker as stated. We were sent lots of promos/ checkout reminders, very commercialised!

What a gem of a property! The flat was very well maintained with excellent facilities, and ideally located with many amenities within a short walking distance. Very quiet too - ideal for a decent night's sleep after a tiring day. Be aware that there is only one shower in the property - the second bathroom does have a large bathtub with a flexible showerhead, so you need to coordinate if everyone wants to use the shower. Would definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Whitby!

this is only my 2nd time at an air BnB,but the apartment is beautiful and exactly as described and the photo's are accurate. it truly felt like, a home away from home. the lounge was big and had 2 large and comfy sofas. the TV was a decent size and you can access your own Netflix etc. the fully working and decent sized kitchen,was great. we made full use of the fridge freezer,kettle and toaster,plus the oven was relatively easy to use(we worked out how to get the jobs working,after a few confused minutes). both of the bathrooms,were lovely!! the big corner bath was great and I loved the walk in shower,with amazing water pressure.. the bedrooms,were really well decorated and cozy. the bed was extremely comfortable and the blinds,were a nice touch,to keep any light out. the location is excellent,so close to the beach and the views from the lounge are wonderful, especially watching the sunset!.. the hosts were friendly, quick at responding and very helpful.. a truly great trip and stay!!.

The property and amenities where all as described and well maintained. The property is in a great location to walk into Whitby town center and has some lovely views of the coast line from the Kitchen / living room windows. Was a ideal property for a family break and we would return - Thank you

The apartment was great really clean and in a great location. Only thing that did us was we got sent the wrong code to get into the apartment key safe. But that was cleared up and resolved quickly
