Fabulous house had everything we needed & it was it was lovely to sit and watch the boats on the river.
Lovely short walk into York Centre.
Would definitely stay again.

Lovely riverside town house, easy walking along the river to the city centre, two minutes from the tour bus pick up point, great in all ways.
Only one thing spoilt this trip, I had already paid a significant fee of £900 for a three-night stay. I was then forced to pay either an additional £25 or £250 ‘damage waiver’ fee or else the access code would not be provided, essentially blackmail for a further £25!
I've not encountered any like this before in all the years I've used Airbnb

this house was beautiful , the location was perfect ,
we were able to walk around and super close to the train station . i will definitely come back to Host and stay properties .

the location.

tiwnhouse on 3 floors, restricted if you have a disability. smaller than expected. . cooker filthy. OVERPRICED . . OVER RATED( reviews!!!!)... constant bombardment with email and messages reminding you about damages in property .. during your stay.. WARNING.... after you make full payment.. a message is sent to you.... to pay £250 deposit.. or take out £25 ( no refund ).. payment , before you can access the property... BEWARE..... Sorry but will never use HOST and STAY again.... HONEST REVIEW. .. will place review on TRUST PILOT.

Beautifully located a short walk from the city centre and attractions but in a quiet development with a view of the river.

If I’m being very picky then I’d have to say the crockery and cutlery could do with being updated (it’s mixed sets) but that didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property.

The extra damage insurance cover cost, requirement a week before we arrived, should be in the cost, just leaves a bad taste.

Slight problem with key box on arrival as we were trying to push the button instead of sliding down, instructions on operation of key box could have made this clear.

We had a great stay at Blue Bridge View. The location is ideal for walking into York and beautiful, with views over the river from almost every room. The house was impeccably clean and had everything we needed.

Location was fantastic. The river was flooding during our stay but retaining wall well above the water. The paths along the river are right in front of the property which would have been great had they not been covered in water.

Ideal location for city centre attractions and Parkrun at the race course. Only downside was homeless, drunks and cannabis smokers.
Some nights had to close patio door because of acrid smel.

Great set up, I liked how the kitchen (which was beautiful and practical) was on the ground floor and the lounge was on the first floor.
Balcony is a great place to have a brew, my son and I played chess for hours with the river a stone's throw away.
Great location with being both on the river and just a wander into town.
5 minutes walk from both self drive boats and boat tours as well as having both the ice cream boats just up the river.
Comfortable beds and wonderful en-suite in the top bedroom.

Only thing I could say was a negative was the top stair case does creak quite loudly.

Location, riverside view, spacious, very clean, balcony with seating, plenty bathrooms, all mod cons and gadgets needed, homely, well considered decor

Struggled with hot water at first but promptly resolved once figured out button to press. Host quick to respond/help. Pillows a bit too hard for me but slept ok

We've stayed at many Airbnb type homes but, unfortunately, this one rates low when compared to previous stays. Pros - Fantastic location, easy to find, parking for 1 car, views of the river and lovely walking path to town. The house was clean & ready for our arrival. Cons - The mattress in the top floor, ensuite room was awful. Not 1 good night sleep. Other family members commented their mattresses were also sub-par. Only 1 bath towel each for 6 family members for our nearly 1-week stay. Asked for more, but none delivered and didn't want to argue with host during my holiday. We bought laundry detergent (none supplied) and washed our own towels. The hot water heater was not switched on before arrival, so cold or no showers our first morning. Too many plug-in air fresheners created an overly floral smell. Sitting room was small and hard to accommodate everyone comfortably. I hope this feedback helps host make simple improvements for future guests.

Perfect location for views over the river, riverside walks and only 12-15 mins by foot into the city centre. However, well above the footpath, so very quiet and private. Great to have a small balcony in the kitchen/dining area and a Juliet balcony in the upstairs lounge. Very well equipped and spotless. Cannot fault it.

Fantastic accomodations for our three night stay in York with four adults in separate bedrooms. The flat was spacious, clean, and confrontable and it was nice to overlook the river. Easy walking distance to the central city area.

The property was in a fantastic condition and in a great location. There were a tone of provisions in the house, from cot beds, to 3 blow dryers, to even boxes for jewellery. It's 10mins wak from the centre and the views were amazing.

The only 2 things that need improvement are a) the mattress in one of the double rooms was very low quality, and damaged on the one side, felt like you were sleeping on a downhill, and that the single bedroom is less than 6.51m2 which is the expected min size for an bedroom sleeping 1 person (it was actually pretty small, maybe 4m2.

The house had its own parking space where we left the car as we were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see.

The dishwasher was undersized for a family.

Great stay at Blue Bridge View. Generously appointed town house, tastefully decorated with lovely views over the river. Fantastic location with the city centre only a 10 minute walk. The parking was also a bonus. Would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful house. Clean and a perfect set up for our group of 4 adults and 3 children. Location is perfect. More of a 3 story town house than apartment so be careful if you have mobility issues. It was great for us. Slightly later check in and earlier check out than most places we’ve stayed but there’s plenty of parking nearby if you want to enjoy the area for longer. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again.
