Location was good as it was within the walled town.

Space was small and the only windows looked out on a walled very small poorly maintained patio area. We were on somewhat of a special family holiday and the accommodation did not meet our expectations so we bite the financial bullet and left early and booked elsewhere. For others with different goals it might work well enough.

Outstanding location inside of the city walls. House nearly perfectly set up for guests with water bottles, snacks, ideas on things to do.

There was not enough toilet paper provided for our family of five for three nights.

In great location

The toilet was blocked from the start of our stay sent emails and all I got back was put boiling water down it. There was only one bathroom so had to use public toilets

Le choix entre payer 25 livres ou 10 livres supplémentaires pour l assurance.
Nous n'avons pas fait le choix 1: payer 250livres de caution,( ne connaissant pas le propriétaire et venant de France. ..)
Nous aurions alors récupéré notre caution moins 10 livres de frais de service.

Nous avons donc pris l'autre otion et payé les 25 livres.pour l'assurance.
Le loyer étant déjà élevé, nous avons été très surpris !

A new space, had everything we could possibly use, and maybe 100 feet or so from the bay. Also, we could throw a rock to the Caernarfon Castle. We hated to leave.
The only problem with the check-in was that the locked key box is shared with the upstairs unit, and the upstairs tenents took our key as well creating a short lived problem because we couldn’t get a timey response helpful response initially from property manager. But it eventually was sorted out in about an hour.
Would stay again!

Such a lovely flat inside the city walls and near the restaurants and shops. It’s beautifully furnished and I appreciated the floor plan in the listing so I knew how the rooms were laid out. It was like staying in a hotel with complimentary toiletries and a goodie basket and excellent quality bedding.
I would have liked more info on how to arrange the parking without having to ask for it (you have to email the car park with your car details), but blue badge holders can park right outside for 3 hours which is helpful as parking is 5 mins walk away and uphill for part of it.
The only downside for me was the really bright light outside the front bedroom and that the curtains didn’t block it out. It was as bright in the room at 2am as 10am. It wouldn’t stop me from staying there again but with a light that bright I’d have installed shutters.
Overall though I recommend it as somewhere to stay in Caernarfon and if you do, don’t miss the castle. It really is top tier!

We had to pay for parking during our stay at Host and Stay apartment 1 High Street Caernarfon as the staff were unable to resolve the issue. Parking was supposibly included in the rental. We spent a lot of time trying to resolve the issue over the phone and emails. Staff have contacted us back, but always responded to by different people, who apparently didn't talk to each other. Anyway, we spent £74 on parking and apparently we won't be reimbursed. This review is so negative for these two reasons: I paid double to park my car and my fair demands were not met. Terrible customer service! And this is the worst that can happen!

Modern compact flat, great location in the centre of Caernarfon, walking distance to everywhere. Perfect for a long weekend. Only problem was that we struggled to dry our wet things after being out in the rain.

Great location and attentive hosts. Minutes to come decent restaurant and high street. The castle and boardwalk are also very close by. Parking was also a breeze. Lots to do for little kids as well.

Wi-Fi is not the greatest. Only works in the living room and bedroom at the front.

The location is great very close to the castle and it was cozy as well. The best were also very comfortable. The apartment was very clean when got in.

We were left a used toilet role from a previous guest but also the roll had hardly any toilet paper left on it. The first bedroom when you enter is extremely nosy and the lights from the street shines in. Thus we were unable to sleep. Lastly there heating was not working as you couldn’t go any higher than a certain temperature and that weekend we were there it was extremely cold.

Extremely clean and well kept.

Windows are thin with the noise of seagulls all night and morning can be a distraction, download a white noise app and that should help.

The only negative is that it needed another bathroom, or at least another toilet because one bathroom isn’t enough for 6 people.

Really nice modern place with a good size kitchen and living room. Easy getting in. Parking close by . Nice spot in Wales.

Wasn't obvious I would have to pay an extra damage waiver and felt very pestered by this, though messages may have been more spread out if we hadn't booked so late. Once I'd paid though it was chill and the hosts were very helpful.
The information is there in small in the extra info section but intially it felt a bit scammy.

Nice flat, felt safe, modern. Issue with a lot of beetles (mainly dead) around the patio door in the lounge. 1st night upstairs neighbours very noisy with loud music until late. 2nd night v quiet. Wi-fi didn't work in the back bedroom, but ok in the lounge and front bedroom. Overall it was good base, easy to walk to the amenities, and 15min drive to snowdon which was why we went.

would just like to say this is pretty much a perfect place very clean and well equipped
super comfy beds, great shower its a hot one,
location great for evening wanderings and close to some great pubs with good food
the use of a parking pass was an absolute bonus also
i will most definitely using it again
