Couldn’t get the lock box opened and were stuck there for some time. Calling the provided number gives you some generic call line for Host and Stay. When we arrived we found the TV remote so well used that there was no icons on it, TV wouldn’t turn on, dusty blinds, lamp in living room wouldn’t turn on, no hand soap in the bathroom. We decided it would be best to not stay in the room for the night and made the hours drive home instead.

If the apartment had been cleaned when we checked in and at the very least clean towels, loo roll and fresh bedding, it would have been an okay stay. Trying to get someone to remedy this for a 1 night stay was beyond stressful as had no way of contacting the owner directly and Host and Stay only had their email address. So trying to get this sorted was beyond frustrating and we were left with no choice but to stay in an uncleaned apartment with very stained and dirty sheets that couldn’t be slept on, all the towels were damp and dirty and the place was grubby throughout. No loo roll, or spares, nothing. Really stressful trying to get this sorted and totally spoilt our evening, not to mention having to sleep on a bare mattress and with no morning shower! For the price paid, get the basic stuff right please and don’t ignore customers or your management company when things haven’t gone to plan.

Great location, easy to find and a car park 1 street away. Nice size for 2 people maybe a bit small for 4. Abbey view was what attracted me and it didn’t disappoint. Little bit of noise at night in the street from the pubs but when the windows were shut you didn’t hear anything. Only regret was not asking for the heating to be turned on. Would I stay there again YES definitely.

Perfect apartment for our one night stopover on way to the North. Very clean and tidy, great view of the Abbey from the kitchen, which was very well equipped. Fabulous location close to the harbour and all amenities. Not possible to park outside though but plenty of car parks nearby. A little tricky unloading, particularly if you meet a car coming the other way, it is a very narrow lane! We enjoyed our stay though and would recommend it.

This place is small but has what you need. The bathroom is very small. There is a lovely view of the abbey from the kitchen. I wouldn’t want to stay more than a couple of nights as it’s very cramped. There are three flights of stairs to the door which are quite steep. Careful if using the toaster - it sets off the fire alarm where it is positioned. We only had a hand towel for washing - I contacted the host to ask for bath towels but I guess as we were only there two nights, it wasn’t very important.

Lovely stay! The only issue I would say is that the extractor fan wouldnt turn off and was quite loud at night. Otherwise, really communicative host, accurate description, fab location and great value.

Entrance staircase dirty. Area scruffy. No dustpan/brush. No wifi instructions.

Nice enough place, water pressure isn't great (not a lot the owner can do about that though), switch for the extractor fan is high up on the bedroom wall & isn't labelled as such. We'd stay again.
