Great location. Property is unique, being an old converted church, and is of a very high standard. The living room/kitchen is very spacious and has all you need for a short stay. Most of the place was very clean, apart from the sofa bed. The bedding is comfortable and we found the bedrooms warm even with no radiators on. Although it has allocated parking space, we found it easier to just park on the street. Ubers from the property to the town cost between £7 and £10, great if you're in a group (there were 4 of us), but it's quite close to bus routes too.
The sofa bed which had all kinds of nasty crumbs and bits all in it after pulling it out. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The toilet cistern continuously dripped. It couldn't be heard from the bedrooms, but is wasteful of water over time so should be fixed.
The check out time was far too early. You have to have the keys back at the key shop by 10am, which effectively means a 9:30 check out. Also, it's confusing, some of the info guide mentions paying extra for late checkout, yet some of it says no extended checkout available. This needs to be clarified better.

Lovely to see how the old church had been beautifully converted. Beautiful space and comfy beds and furniture. Quick response from staff.
No Internet despite informing staff within 12 hours. Dripping toilet. Uneven flooring possibly due to leak. Faulty oven extractor. Even though present for a week as a family of four, only one toilet roll provided, no recycling facilities, no washing up liquid and only a couple of dishwasher tablets.
Information boasts about low carbon footprint and ecofriendly by no mention of recycling, limited toilet roll and difficult to regulate temperature along with wastage of water due to dripping toilet

This has been the worst Airbnb property we have ever booked. On arrival the key fob did not work for the electric carpark gate so we could not get in and the codes for the pedestrian gate did not always work. Contacting Host&Stay was not easy as they left you on hold for 3mins before it then went to answerphone and their response was delayed even with this. That beame and issue when there was an emergency on we were inside the apartment. The boiler was leaking water and had pushed up the wooden flooring, which my husband tripped over, and there was mould behind it and the heating did not work. The toilet had no flush as the water had been shut of to it, the internet did not work with any of the codes given and even when advised over the phone it didn't work, the TV used WiFi so that fid not work either. We requested they move us to somewhere else or to a hotel, but that did not happen until the following afternoon so we were left to sleep in the property for one night of two.

The property character. Leaving and coming home.
Think twice before booking this property, unless all you care about is the beauty and character which is unquestionably unique.
A beautiful property but a thoroughly disappointing stay. We encountered a number of issues that were compounded by the lack of communication from the hosts and seeming inability for them to respond to issues.
The property has a disgusting mould/drains smell. This is evident as soon as you enter through the main door into the corridor and was the case throughout the apartment and is extremely strong. There were severe stains in the communal area outside the apartment front door, suggesting they have had some serious water leak problems.
There is no WiFi at the property. We reported an hour into our stay (by leaving a voicemail as you don't tend to get anyone to answer), by texting using a number that actively messaged us prior to check in and check out or by messaging through the Booking site) that it was broken and didn't receive one communication back from them regarding it for the duration of our 4 day stay. Granted it could be an issue with the supplier but what I can't accept is the lack of response to reporting the issue or any suggested mitigating actions we could take or update after reporting the issue to Virgin if this is indeed what they did. I must have spent 2-3 hours trying to fix this myself to no avail. We were unable to work and had a child that couldn't use his tablet meaning we were unable to get a lie in any day (as this is the usual trick!). We would not have chosen to stay at a property with no internet. To confirm, you can connect using the password provided but there is no available internet meaning the TV was out of use too as it couldn't connect. Our child asked to return home every day of our stay so we have the difficult task of trying to remove his constant disappointment.
The gate for accessing the car park was temperamental to say the least.
