This was my second time staying at his property. It is located really well for access to all the Liverpool fun, but it can be noisy due to traffic and late night eating spots across the street. The bedroom is quieter as it’s set back from the corner. It has a lovely view of the bombed out church and is spacious.

It is good location but this Airbnb experience was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were hit with a last-minute, hidden fee for potential furniture damage—either £25 or £250—which was never mentioned upfront. The host kept us waiting in the street with six suitcases, delaying us for an hour while trying to extract more money. To make matters worse, the apartment wasn't properly cleaned, yet the host tried to charge us more when we requested a late check-out by just 1-2 hours. We refused to pay because it was unfair and unprofessional. Despite these issues, we returned the flat in good condition, as we always do. As a host myself, I always communicate any security deposits upfront. This host's behavior felt like a scam, and their service was far from acceptable. We’ll be sharing our experience to warn others.

Booked for a hen party and was informed 45mins before arriving that we were unable to stay on the property and they had no other options for us. It was passed on to booking.com who offered 1 option which was very far away from the rest of the party so I refused this but was then not contacted again. I had to book a hotel for those who were meant to be staying and spent the first few hours stressed and having to organise this rather than enjoying the occasion.
I have been assured that I will receive a full refund but Host and Stay were very unhelpful and I would not book with them again or recommend anyone else to do so.

This was a lovely second floor, apartment - spacious and light. We really enjoyed the views. I loved the location. Close to many restaurants, bars and the supermarket. The facilities were great. We especially appreciated the washing machine and washing powder provided in the apartment. It is within walking distance of Lime Street Station (about 10 minutes of flat walking) and the centre of Liverpool.

Collecting the keys required us to walk to a local convenience store, show a code to the employee and collect the key. We had to return them there as well. Seemed overly complicated.
Our TV did not work, When I contacted the company to report this I did not appreciate being told that I needed to contact the maintenance group who looked after the apartment. Even when I (grudgingly) did this, the issue was not resolved as the suggested method of turning the TV off and then on again surprisingly didn't fix it.
Also, be aware that you will be required to take out 'damage insurance' prior to your stay. This will either be a 20GBP non refundable charge, or, alternatively a GBP250 charge which will be refundable but minus a GBP10 'administration' fee if no damage done!! This fee is refunded 14 days after your stay ends.

Location was near city centre

Apartment not suitable for more than two people. Hallway and stairs were filthy and smelled of mould and must. Front door was very difficult to open. Definitely not suitable if you have large suitcases. Bed was very uncomfortable. Stains on the cushions on the bed. Couldn't use the pull out bed as it was extremely uncomfortable. The other two people in our group had to sleep on the sofas. Windows are definitely not double glazed. Got about three hours of sleep over the three nights. Photos definitely were not truly reflective of the size of the apartment. Definitely not value for money- definitely will give this place a wide berth the next time we are in Liverpool!

the sofa bed in the lounge is small and very uncomfortable (mattress very thin so very uncomfortable, only a 2 seaters so very small for 2 adults, smell)
freezer had broken drawers
there were not enough towels when we arrived and flagged it to the property manager straight away. then spend eve+morning chasing to get extra towels! had to send photos to show that none had been left in the wardrobe by the cleaner. they were finally delivered around 11am on the sat morning.
confusing messaging about check-in/out time
even after our departure keeps receiving messages asking for the same information (why we are coming, details of the party , passport etc…)
spent a lot of my weekend contacting the property manager via text as the phone number given was not “recognised”

This apartment is spot-on for a visit to Liverpool. We were really impressed with the amount of places to eat and drink nearby, and it was easily walkable into the city, to Lime Street station and Albert Dock. The hosts had covered everything with their information and responded really quickly. The apartment had everything we needed and all appliances etc worked successfully. The only thing we felt could have been better was the stair carpet, which was in poor condition and unclean. Otherwise, we would recommend this place and be happy to stay there again.

Really lovely flat in a brilliant location. Feel right in the middle of everything, especially with the windows in the kitchen/dining, you can see and hear the hustle & bustle of town.
The instructions provided by the hosts were really clear so the check-in/out was easy.
The flat was very clean and comfy, we really liked it.

Was a shame only having 2 rolls of toilet roll and no more in the cupboard. Also no kitchen roll was a bit inconvenient, especially when I was trying to keep things tidy. There were 4 bottles of cleaning solution/room spray/sanitiser in the cupboard but all were completely empty which was annoying.
Because of the above, only having 1 tea towel available was also a shame.

The comfy flat is right in the heart of the city and walking distance from all the sights. it is light and airy with a bird’s eye view of Bold Street - perfect for people-watching!

A great 10 day stay. The location is very close to amazing restaurants, the main train station, the city centre, etc. However, it is on a busy corner and can be noisy late into the night.
It was terrific for what I wanted to do during my stay and the suite itself was very comfortable.

Great location, everything downtown is walkable and we got an information booklet up front which was helpful with exploring the city. The Airbnb is compact but has everything you need if you’re traveling with 2 people.

the bed was very uncomfortable and also the sofa bed. there was long hairs at the back of the sofa bed when we eventually managed to get the sofa bed out as it’s not the easiest. we couldn’t open the windows in the bedroom. when we got there we couldn’t find the bed linen and extra towels, they kept telling us they was under the sofa bed, we found them after a day of being there. they was under the bed in the bedroom. all there was was the smallest bar of soap to wash. the bed was very uncomfortable and the sheet wasn’t staying on the bed due to the plastic sliding cover 😡 last but not least the state of the building when you walk in is an absolute mess. the stair carpets was filthy and it stunk.

Lovely and clean rooms. Nice and modern! Great kitchen utensils. Location was perfect and central. Me and my friends had a fab time here for my birthday.

Wifi didn’t work and the sofa bed was very uncomfy. Entrance to the block of flats was quite dirty.

We arrived and the property was dirty and hadn't been cleaned. The place needs a deep clean. The decor and furniture is fairly worn and much shabbier than the photos.
We asked for a refund as we only had a limited time in Liverpool and had no time to wait for a cleaner to come. Although the woman we spoke to was polite and apologized that the cleaner had missed that property, later Charlie was unsympathetic and tried to avoid any responsibility. We did get a 50% refund but I wouldn't recommend this property.
The entry way and stairs are worn and dirty and smelt bad which was very off-putting too.

Its location (near the bustling, very boho Bond Street) is superb. A great range of interesting, mainly independent restaurants, bars and shops are all very close, and it’s not a long walk to the main shopping area of the city (‘Liverpool One’) and the many well-known attractions of the Albert Dock. Parking isn’t available at the property, but there is short-stay metered parking outside the property, convenient for loading and unloading, and there are numerous reasonably priced (£8 per day) covered parking facilities a short walk from the property. The key pick-up and drop-off point is a local convenience store about 5 minutes’ walk from the property. The facilities were fine - the WiFi was very reliable and plenty fast enough for our laptop, tablet, 4 mobile phones and Roku stick. The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival.

Bed and sofa bed not the most comfortable. Did get very noisy outside in the street on the Thursday night (more specifically the early hours of Friday morning between 3 and 4:30am) as a lot of young people were congregating at the fried chicken takeaway after leaving pubs and clubs. I imagine this could be a similar situation or even worse on Friday and Saturday nights. This is the price you pay for being in a very lively area with lots going on, and it wasn’t a major problem for us.

First impression of the interior was good. The apartment was airy and spacious with good equipment and very clean. The location was near the hospital where my husband was a patient.

There were 2 rather steep flights of stairs which weren’t easy for me especially with a suitcase. Also the WiFi wasn’t working. I was told to pull plug out, wait 5 mins, but it only worked for 2 minutes then the red light came back on. For my entire stay I was without internet which was another reason for choosing this place. The host Charlie promised a maintenance guy to fix it but he didn’t arrive. TV reception wasn’t very stable either though that was less important.
Returning the keys was a hassle as I had to collect my husband from the hospital for us to be at the airport for an early flight home. I was informed the shop where I’d first picked up the keys wouldn’t be open so early in the morning and I wasn’t permitted to just leave the keys in the apartment. I was then sent the address of the host company by a text message link which meant I’d to to go to a cafe to access it as the apartment still had no internet.
I had to waste time the next morning returning the keys to the host main office allegedly 5 minutes walk away. It took longer than that for my taxi to bring me there.

We had an excellent stay here!! The location was perfect, close enough to walk to everything but far enough away that it wasn’t too noisy (not that we would have cared). The apartment had everything you need, the only thing we had to buy was food. The hosts were super helpful, responded to any questions and gave great advise on what to do and where to go as was our first time. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!!

-sofa bed present but very old and uncomfortable! Probably worth investing in a new one for the price of a weekend.
-Not four big towels so two people had to have small ones to shower with. Otherwise bedding and all else present as advised, thank you.

This was kind of a new experience but due to the great support from Charlie (Manager) it was almost pleasant to stay there.
The appartment is on a very good location because just next to the bold street with a lot of bars and restaurants. This made it also not too quite but I did not really care about that. More unpleasant were the police, firefighter and ambulance cars every day about 5 times.
Also to liverpool one it just takes you about 5 minutes walking.
Now to the appartment.
The shower was very moldy and completely dirty on the bottom. The ventilalor in the bathroom was completely dusty. Hairs from the earlier guests were still on the couch. The washing machine was already broken when we have arrived. It then was replaced about after a week.
A very big thank you to Charlie again who great took care about me during this time.
The appartment itself could need a renovation.

Appartement très bruyant car situé sur une rue très passante à proximité de plusieurs clubs de nuit. Même dans la chambre le bruit des bus et voitures est très perceptible et dans le salon on avait l'impression de manger dans la rue. Nous étions venus en famille pour plusieurs jours et avons donc dû trouver un autre logement pour terminer notre séjour. De plus la literie dans le séjour est de piètre qualité. L'appartement est certes bien situé pour visiter Liverpool mais les inconvénients sont bien trop nombreux. Notre pire expérience Airbnb en dix ans.

Lo mejor que tiene es la localización, que es estupenda y permite el acceso a las zonas turísticas y todo lo que hay que visitar dando un cómodo paseo. Las estaciones de tren están cerca y se puede ir andando también.
El interior del piso es correcto y se ajusta al precio. El ratio calidad precio es razonable.
Las camas están bien, está limpio aunque la ducha es muy pequeña.
Hay suficiente menaje.
El único problema es que la zona de noche es muy ruidosa, así que si se quiere descansar este no es un buen sitio.

Although my stay was fine, the process of booking this was very lengthy and complicated. A lot of things were miscommunicated to me with regards to what property I wanted to book, I was told the place I wanted was under maintenance despite being listed as available on Airbnb and then a couple days later a friend of mine went ahead and booked this which resulted in me having to stay somewhere I did not originally want.

The apartment was right across from the Bombed Out Church in a great area. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and you’re 15 minutes to the docks. The team was awesome to communicate with during check in and we appreciated all their help!

After seeing all the good reviews for the flat I thought that it would be the ideal place to spend a weekend in Liverpool. Unfortunately this was not to be the case.
The flat is run by a management team so we had to pass by their offices to pick up the keys which was a short walk from the flat. We got to the flat and it seemed fine. Very centrally located and you can indeed walk everywhere - but more of that later.
The heating was off when we arrived as was the hot water so we followed the instructions given to turn everything on. We thought it odd that the hot water heater was under the kitchen sink but then thought no more of it.
We made up the sofa bed in the sitting room and all the linen was of a nice quality but they had failed to put mattress protectors on the beds which is normal practise.
Then off we went for a lovely meal and got back to the flat to try and get some sleep. The central location means that on a Friday and Saturday night it is extremely noisy , with people coming out of clubs and pubs until the early hours and police cars and ambulances rushing pass. A set of ear plugs would be invaluable.
But this was not the worst of it on Saturday we got back late and turned the tap on in the kitchen and immediately water started to spurt out under the sink. We ran around to try and find bowls to put it in and mop it up but it kept coming. I then noticed that there were electricity sockets which were in danger to getting wet so I turned them all off. The tank then emptied itself while we mopped it up. We eventually cleared everything up and managed to get to bed around 2.30. I had phoned and emailed the "hosts" who were unable to do anything or provide any information on how to stop the water.
The next morning we didn't dare turn on the water or have showers so we left as soon as we could and took the key back to the office. We were allowed to leave our bags in the office for free (they normally charge) and then spent the morning sightseeing.
I realise that maintenance problems do happen. But when I wrote to complain about our experience they offered me 30 pounds refund which I found insulting.
Needless to say we will not be returning!!

The apartment is fantastic! Really cute and cozy. Located in a great place, very close to Bold St, where there's a lot happening and a short walk to the city centre and all the main places in Liverpool. There are supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, bars etc nearby. The apartment was clean an has all the facilities we needed, kitchen was super complete! The communication with the kind hosts was easy and fast. We needed to take the keys in another place, but it's close to the apartment. Even thought it wasn't very cheap, we would come back for sure!
