The Property is a lot smaller than the pictures would have you believe ,
The garage is tiny and unless your driving a mini or a tiny compact car
You will not be able to get a car in it ,
So you have to park on the street outside , which is a no parking zone
And we received two parking tickets for £70 each
They advertised that the house has WIFI
and anyone traveling from overseas and paying AROUND $200 per night would expect to have WIFI , ( they have a router but no service to it ) which in this day and age is a pre requisite,
We contacted the host and management company 10 times
They said they were sending someone out but nobody showed, we even wasted 6 hours of our day waiting for their so called technician, after 4 days
We gave up , the quickest response we got from the host was at the end of our
Stay when we asked for a small refund for no WIFI service, he laughed in our faces, needless to say we would never book with this person again

Quite a good location if you don't mind a walk into the centre. As a guide, its perhaps 20 mins to where John Lewis is, 30 mins to Albert Dock. But plenty of places to eat close by / China Town close. Great for the Philharmonic.
No. 10 - Nicely decorated. Bedrooms super comfy. Great shower. Very well designed and laid out for the footprint of the property but it does mean there is no lounge.....Small sofa in kitchen area. So social night in for a group of friends wasn't as comfy as we would have liked. Having said that, we would definitely stay there again/recommend (unless we found somewhere cheaper!). We loved loved loved Liverpool.

1) Arrangements and pricing for Security deposit should have been much clearer prior to booking - that came as a bit of a shock and an additional cost that I'd not accounted for (on an already expensive weekend). And a £50 service charge for 3 night stay on top of accom and cleaning also seems a bit inflated. 2) Key pick up - this changed on the day and wasn't obvious to me that it was a change in location. I was shattered, footsore and carrying heavy bags so was not overjoyed to walk to one location and then have to back track to another 10 mins away. Fortunately the correct pickup point was only round the corner from the property 3) 1 Dishwasher pod for a 3 night stay was a bit mean.

Great location in a lovely part of central Liverpool and a short walking distance from Bold Street and a wide range of restaurants / bars. Clean and comfortable house with a well-equipped kitchen; very quiet overnight.

There was a slight mismatch between information available on the booking website and information from the host (before and during the stay). For example, where to collect the keys and what to do on vacating the property. We also thought the damage deposit details (payment and refund) could have been clearer at the time of booking.

The house itself was lovely. It was spotlessly clean, great decor and beautiful bathrooms. They forgot to provide a towel in the downstairs loo and kitchen though. The main problem is with the management company. They gave us the wrong code for the key, and all numbers went to voicemail. My son eventually got through, but even though I texted and left a voicemail explaining that we were locked outside with a baby, they didn't contact me for 4 hours. They send lots of chirpy texts/emails through beforehand
professing to be helpful, but every request is met with a 'no'. In short, great accommodation but the management lets the property down.

The property was very clean and spacious, it was well equipped also and is well located to explore the georgian quarter, ropewalks and city centre.
To note; the keys are collected from a local shop a few hundred metres away and the host requested an additional 'accidental damage waiver' fee outside the airbnb app around the time of check-in, which I hadn't been aware of when booking.
We had some issues around check-out - the keys were required to be dropped off at the same shop they were collected at. The shop was shut and the instructions were to post through the letterbox. I messaged via the app to say this had been done and received a response saying this was fine. I was then contacted later in the day asking why I hadn't checked out and needed to send proof I had dropped the keys off, which was a bit frustrating as I had done everything as stated in the checkout information and messaged to confirm this. It would be good if the check in/out could be made simpler.

The house itself was really nice & clean, with good/modern facilities & short access to Liverpool city centre.

Communication prior to arrival was very poor, as I was unaware that Host & Stay had not taken the damage waiver off my card even though I had provided permission. I was then held to ransom following a 5-hour car journey & told that we could not gain access to the house until I had paid the waiver, which I couldn't easily do from the car. This should have all been sorted out in advance of the journey. Plus when we were eventually given the access code, we were then sent to the wrong mini-market to pick up the keys. Really poor organisation & communication, which is a shame as the property was really nice.

Property is very modern with everything you require for your stay from washing machine, dishwasher cooker etc. Two very large walk in shower/bathrooms which is ideal for more than one couple sharing as property sleeps 6, also has small WC downstairs which is very convenient. TV in the two double bedrooms and downstairs living area. Property also has the added bonus of a garage for a medium sized car saving on off site parking or having car too far away. Close enough to all major attractions China Town, Mathew Street etc and has couple local bars and restaurants 2 mins walk from property including few shops for groceries etc. Stayed here as two couples and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property as property is on two levels so never felt overcrowded on restricted. Only one small moan is property is located on a quaint cobblestone road which can be quite noisy early mornings for those staying in the front bedroom. But nothing that would prevent returning

Very overpriced. Please be warned and read the booking terms minutely. I was charged the full amount of almost a thousand pounds ( for 3 nights) four months before my stay. I wasn’t expecting it as I had booked under a free cancellation deal and thought I would pay on the day. I was planning on saving the money each month. Left me overdrawn. I also had to pay a £250 security deposit which they have taken ten days to refund me and have actually had the cheek to deduct £10 for an administrative fee!!!after earning interest on my £1100 for four months! I’m disgusted! Also the shopkeeper who passed the key over was very grumpy.

Only thing I will say which wasn’t a problem but maybe helpful for next time the accommodation sleeps 6 but only had 5 large plates. This didn’t affect is in anyway we managed but maybe 6 large plates would be better.

Great properties with bright modern decor. Nice and clean by our high standards as we are VERY particular with our accommodation. Good location within walking distance of all main areas of city centre. The street was lovely and quiet with a great little coffee shop right next door.

The parking situation was the only negative but it wouldn’t stop me from returning. The street parking is max 2 hour stay. The garages are quite tight for larger cars and we couldn’t fit Discovery Sport and Mercedes E class in them. Parked at the Q Park which was only 10 min walk so no hardship.

Excellent location. Within walking distance of everything but location was quiet. We were given the wrong address for the key safe. Luckily the staff at that address were able to direct us to where they were. Not ideal as we came by train and had to take our suitcases with us.

The outside area was covered with rubbish including chips when we arrived. It may have been caused by the seagulls tearing the black bags which had been left. We had to leave ours too as we were travelling by train. I feel they should be cleared before new guests arrive.

Property in a nice area, near to Anglican Cathedral. Well equipped property and decorated nicely. Garage an assert, but only for a smallish car. Outdoor space a bonus.

Picking keys up from a local shop at 3pm. Keys weren't at the shop, had to make a phone call chasing them, keys not available until they finally arrived at 3.30pm very frustrating.
Outside rubbish bins were full, so plastic sacks of rubbish were on the floor, which attracted the flies. No instructions to put bins out for collection on whatever days, looks like they have not been emptied for a long time!!

Sent to the wrong shop to pick the keys up, directions were sent via phone. It is an inconvenience to have to go to a shop to collect, a key safe is better for the guests.

The locks on the door were very difficult to open, they were sticking and needs to be looked at.
I asked if we could drop off the bags a few hours before check in was told no, but we could pay and store them in the city centre £5 per bag. Since covid it has now become the normal to have later check in and earlier check outs. I will in the future prior to booking trips see when check-in and check outs are.

Having enough bathrooms x2 and a separate downstairs toilet, both excellent. Big beds and nice and clean. The kitchen had everything you needed, though we mostly ate out. The little patio was good for fresh air, yet private. The garage a bonus if you have a small car - double yellows all down the street. Fab little coffee shop right next door, but quiet.

The lounge was too small for x6 people to be together, just 1 sofa.
The volume and tone of emails about taking out accidental damage cover and vacating the property by 10.00am seemed a bit OTT!

We had go outside the Airbnb process to arrange to pay a damage deposit in advance.
We needed to pick up the key at another location (seems unnecessary hassle for customers especially when travelling with other people and managing luggage). The location was very close, but upon arrival, in the rain, we learned the key code was not correct and had to contact the property managers to wait for a new code (shout out to the nice person at the shop who was very kind to us in our frustration). In addition, we were told we must return the key to the shop and when we pointed out that the shop would not be open when we left, we were told it would be. It wasn't open so we needed to figure out where to leave the key as we departed for our train.

We were a family of four looking for somewhere to stay for a long weekend in Liverpool. This property proved ideal. In particular its location was ideal within a few minutes walk of numerous restaurants and bars and a maximum of twenty minutes from virtually all the main tourist attractions. There was some street noise but less than you’d expect from living in a city. The property itself was private with three comfy bedrooms and three bathrooms. It had all we needed. Key collection was straightforward. If coming to Liverpool I would use the property again and happy to recommend it

The house in Pilgrim Street was just the right size for our five-person family group. Accommodation includes three bedrooms and two separate bathrooms with good showers. There is a small kitchen/dining area downstairs, which was a fine size for our needs. The location is very central, close to bars and restaurants. Everything in the city was within easy walking distance.

It was modern and very very homey and comfy at the same time. I loved the two main double rooms they were beautiful and well layed out. It felt like a home away from home. The house has everything you need including not one iron but two, plenty of plug and usb sockets, books to ready, x 3 television and tea and coffee and sugar are provided. There’s a shop around the corner to get milk.

The bathrooms were also amazing.The whole house was super clean and I loved the decor. Also the automatic lights around the floor and the light up mirrors in the bathroom were a bonus. Big fan of the duo shower heads also and very nice hot shower!

Although I didn’t bring the car this time it’s great you have your own garage to put the car in too.

Great location in town also where you can walk to everything and you’re just around the corner from one of the main streets, the bombed out church and Chinatown

The windows let in a draft in the back double room. Also potentially windows need to be thicker as you could hear every single noise outside including just people walking by the street having conversation. The walls are noticeably quite think also if you have loud neighbours staying in the house next door.

In comparison to the rest of the decor in the house the carpet on the stairs didn’t fit in and looked a bit tacky and the yellow in the single bed room on the walls but everything else was beautifully laid out decorated and was amazing we couldn’t have picked a better property. It’s my most favourite property I’ve booked right now.

It’s not important but We would recommend a full length mirror upstairs on the landing and there isn’t one in the house to look in. Plenty of others but not one to see your full body before going out

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt → liegt sehr zentral und ist auch mit dem Bus vom Flughafen super zu erreichen (Endstation - Bold Place)
Alles in der Nähe vorhanden. Minishops, Kaffeehäuser, Snacks usw.
Das kleine Haus war sehr sauber. Ausstattung sehr gut, es fehlte uns an nichts. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Location was good

Lots of hassle trying to collect the key on arrival. We were given the wrong address of the mini market. Wasted taxi fare. Took over an hour in total.
Neighbours next door were very noisy. Partied all night until 7am with very loud music and lots of people coming and going all night. They were banging on our front door during the early hours which made us feel unsafe. We were there for 2 nights in total and none of us managed to sleep. Very disappointed.

Já devo ter me hospedado em 50 propriedades diferentes no airbnb e está é umas das melhores com certeza. Casa bem equipada e muito moderna (luzes com dimmer, Led nochao do banheiro com sensor de presença, TV grande na sala e nos quartos, dentre outros).
Algumas pessoas falaram de dificuldade de estacionamento. Eu não entendi, pois EXISTE ESTACIONAMENTO DA PRÓPRIA CASA.

Wonderful accommodation, albeit slightly smaller living space downstairs than we realised, but that didn't spoil things!
Excellent accommodation near to the city centre.
Most amenities as described. We didn't spot a hair dryer, but had brought our own, so that was ok. No coffee maker in the kitchen, but there is an excellent coffee shop next door.
We had to change our travel plans last minite, so called when we were on our way to enquire about parking. We were told there wasn't any parking available at the property. Therefore, we had to find a car park to leave the car for the duration of our trip. It was only on return, preparing to write this review, we saw it does state parking is available. Please check beforehand with hosts if you do need a place which has parking on site. The car park we were directed to, by the lady on the phone, was closed, so we had to find somewhere which wasn't too expensive but safe.

The place was really great, it was better than what we’d actually hoped for! Only complication that we had which we didn’t really have time to communicate with the host with was the dead lock was a little stiff and hard to open, otherwise the apartment was great and the location was great and I would definitely book again. Be mindful that there is no parking on the road itself though. Otherwise the place is really worth it. Really clean and spacious.

Lovely place with everything you need, hosting my family before our wedding, great location in Liverpool in the heart of the Georgian Quarter - all amenities you need.
Rooms immaculate - my family commented on the nice rooms and the excellent location. Living area is cosy with kitchen and small living room area combined.
Check-in time of 3pm is late for 10am check out but seems to more and more common on AirbnB - good stay nonetheless.

Great place to stay, very central. Lovely bathrooms and quirky décor. Stay only slightly spoilt on the nights we stayed by the seagulls at 5.00am but i understand that this is a Liverpool problem not a property location problem

The property is very different, in a good way. It holds a lot of character and when you go inside you actually feel at home. It doesn’t feel like a hotel or a short stay. The decor is very different but it has such a homely feel, we all absolutely loved it. It was also very clean and organized perfectly. Would definitely recommend families staying here.

All the light switches are very temperamental, this was a huge issue. The noise in this area isn’t too great, each morning a alarm was going off for hours which wasn’t great. The beds mattresses weren’t amazingly comfy but it didn’t ruin the stay! The garage is extremely small, we had to move a large amount of paint canisters just to get our car inside. We booked here as it has parking, although I would not recommend anyone with a large car parking in it. Our car doors got scraped as the driver couldn’t get out. The negative comments aren’t the end of all, the good did out way the bad! The location is extremely hard to find, when we called booking.com they weren’t great. Although the actual hosts were more than happy to help.

Really happy with our stay at Pilgrim Street, location is superb, just up the road from St Lukes, and all the amazing food choices on Bold Street. Metrocola Pub around the corner is a great location for a few drinks on the way out/home too.
The check in process was smooth with keynest just around the corner, and the chap in the shop was very helpful.
The accommodation itself is exactly as per description, photos. There were 3 of us in our party, and the only thing I will say as a small negative is whilst this property is a 3 bed, and thus could accomodate up to 6 people, the "living space" would be quite busy with 6 people in it. However, thats the only slight on the property and didnt affect us in anyway.
Rooms were bright, well presented and very clean, the beds were comfy and there was plenty of storage space. The two bathrooms were spotless and the large walk in showers were great, with superb pressure.
Kitchen facilities were well stocked, with everything needed to prepare food.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of finish within the property. The beds are extremely clean and comfy, not to mention that the place smells lovely with the Reed diffusers. The only thing that could be an issue is parking, however we had tremendous weather so it didn’t create too many issues for us. I’d definitely recommend a stay here - 10/10

Great location for exploring what has now become an excellent tourist city - close to a number of attractions and 15min walk to pierhead via town centre. Plenty of dining and drinking options nearby (don't miss the Philharmonic Dining Rooms: a pub 3 mins away).

Slightly quirky property was nicely and recently decorated, spotless, comfortable and well equipped. Garage was a major bonus as there's little or no longer term parking in the area and limited street parking is expensive (but be aware the garage is small - OK for our Fiesta but not much more). Fast internet.

Key collection and return worked well (but be aware it would be a 10 min walk if not driving).

We found it perfect for three of us (sleeps six but dining/lounge area wouldn't cope with that as too small).

Would book again if staying in the area.

Booking process via Booking.com but really with local agency (Host so Simple) was frustrating as we received multiple requests for information already given (repeated email threats to cancel booking were a concern!). Agencies need to co-ordinate better. Out of hours message left for Host so Simple was never responded to. One bath sheet per person but no face towels. Quite noisy at night (traffic noise on cobbled street and late night bars).

This place was a steal! It’s brand new, in the BEST location and has absolutely everything you need. The interiors are stunning and it made for a really comfortable and happy stay. This area is full of restaurants/bars and history with two churches at either end of the street. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone! The only negatives were the parking - it’s pricey and a bit of a walk to the property. However for future bookers, there is a car park at Liverpool cathedral that is a lot cheaper and does 24 hour parking (wish we knew this earlier). It can also be quite noisy at night as you’re right on a lane and people are coming and going at all hours of the night. We used the back two rooms of the house though so it wasn’t a problem at all! Thanks so much for a WONDERFUL stay

Location was good, central and in an area that felt very safe. Coffee shop next door was a bonus
House was clean, pretty and well furnished / stocked. Rooms were spacious and had good storage
WiFi easy to access and good strength

The floor boards in the front bedroom were very noisy and the bedroom door had a terrible squeak so for those who needed to get up in the night it was very embarrassing
Also there was one tiny bottle of shower gel (and shampoo - less of an issues as we tend to bring our own) provided for (potentially) 6 of us for 2 nights (none in the ensuite shower off the back double bedroom) so had to buy our own. Even if we hadn't had had to pay 10x the usual price per night because it was Eurovision, (completely understand market forces and we did opt to pay so our bad) felt this was a bit stingy
And so many questions before we even arrived (including having to "describe" our group!)
We enjoyed the weekend but would not book again and unlikely to recommend to others

The place is literally the best accommodation in Airbnb that I've been so far.
I was impressed by the cosiness, the smart spaces, by how clean it was in all areas and by the interior deco that shows how the team values the art of living well :)
If you visit Liverpool, then definitely try to stay at Katy, Jo and Team's.

The whole experience of booking through the company was exemplary. From the arrangements for picking keys up all very well organised. The property was exactly as advertised. In fact everything about it was more than first class. Would definitely recommend without reservation. Look forward to rebooking.

Comfy beds, good quality house on a cute street. Loved the coffee shop next door. Good location, close to great restaurants and pubs.

You have to collect the keys from a nearby shop (7 minutes away from the property by foot)and return the keys to the same shop.

The location was great, 5-10 minutes walk into the centre of Liverpool and with some nice bars on the doorstep. The coach house was beautifully decorated with high quality fittings and it was great to have three bedrooms. The garage was very handy for parking up the car for the weekend

As this is a city location there was noise during the early hours (on both days) that sounded like bottles being collected from bars.

Fantastic location, very attractive property tucked down a quant side street with a welcoming feel and most things you need for a short break. Very near to lots of great eating and drinking places, with a vibrant and buzzy feel. Walking distance to the Baltic Market and Albert Dock areas, plus local historic buildings.

Easy check in process. Toilet rolls and towels provided. Garage a bonus. Good communication with owner during our stay.

I found the log in process impossible to access, which created unwanted stress prior to our weekend. A couple of small extras would have tipped good into outstanding (eg plug and bowl for kitchen sink, better pillows). The great location also brought some late night street noise (obviously not the owner's fault).

Great location in the university district, only about 15-20 mins from Albert Dock on foot. The house is beautifully furnished & decorated. Speedy pick-up/drop-off of keys.

The garage next door was almost too small for our car to fit but we made it...just. The TVs are a brilliant size but we couldn't get them to work. Thankfully, we brought our Fire stick so we could still use the one in the lounge. I would say the lounge is a bit tight if there were 6 adults staying but there were only 4 of us so it felt cozy.

The property itself must have had professional style interior designers. Everything and more than you need. We were 3 couples meeting up and the space was great for a weekend break. Didn't need the garage but what a bonus if you did (but might not take a massive SUV). Location was perfect in terms of quiet side street but still close enough to everything with local pubs, groceries and restaurants. Can't think of staying anywhere better.

Not quite "didn't like" but there was a dishwasher but only 6 mugs. Had we have wanted to dine in if you were staying for a week or more than it might have been a bit tight.

Beautiful little house, really good to have the garage too :)
There's a kitchen/diner on the ground floor and a separate little loo, and 3 lovely bedrooms, a main bathroom and an en suite upstairs . The beds are beyond comfortable !!
The lack of a separate sitting room did not affect our stay one bit, there was 5 of us, aged 55 to 65, plenty of seating for us all in the diner 😀.
It's immaculately clean, lovely fixtures and fittings. Towels, bedding, loo roll, shower gel, tea, coffee, sugar and washing up facilities all included. I would 100% recommend this property for up to 6 people to stay. Close to town centre, everything within walking distance. Loved everything about it.
