I thought it was over priced for the apartment. It was lovely but just a few minor details stopped it being excellent. One being the sofa was 2 small for 4 adults to sit comfortably. More comfy chairs needed. and a small issue with the cupboards. As i am 5ft i could not reach anything as cupboards really high up. So I needed a step. Oven gloves and a tea towel would have been helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay bit too overpriced for us. I would have expected a little more luxury for the price.

This flat worked great for 4 people. The Nespresso machine and milk frother was a favorite! Very hot water, comfortable sofa, lots of great movies. Parking worked well. Very walkable shops and food.

Great location within a short walk of Liverpool One and the Albert Docks. Great views of the anglican cathedral from the balcony. As the property is managed by a company managing multiple properties some of the communications felt like standard responses. For example, we were checking out at 7am on a Saturday and told the shop we collected keys from would be shut and directed to the office but in actual fact the shop is open 24 hours on a Friday and Saturday. All in all a great experience

Good for a short stay very close to Liverpool one but wouldn’t let kids walk on their own. Beds on the smaller size. Picking keys up from a shop wasn’t the easiest and caused bit of issue with arriving separately. Great stay for my boys to watch the football.

In a good location with easy access to the Docks, museums, attractions and Liverpool One for shopping. Great choice of restaurants nearby and all within walking distance. Easy key pickup from location 2 minutes away by car or a 5 minute walk. Car park space was tight. There are 2 exit doors from car park space to access apartment - use the one directly in front of the bay. Flat was generally clean and kitchen fully equipped with essentials. Bedroom floors did not appear to be vacuumed and bathroom towels provided were clean but stained. Pillows in both rooms were very soft but would have been helpful to have one firm one - but this is down to individual preference. Window in bedroom 2 did not open but fans were provided. Window in main bedroom is pull open but took us a while to figure out. Lovely open space in lounge and kitchen area. Bonus having Netflix access. Hairdryer not provided. Tesco Express round corner for all basics. Pleasant stay overall.

I felt the price was reasonable - there were only two of us - it was easy to get to (although I had used StreetView to see the building), very clean and everything you need is present, and working. BUT The space was OK for two people, would be a bit small for 4 people, and very small for 6. And furniture was or felt like Ikea - which we do have at home, but apartment listed as "Penthouse" suggests something more. But then "something more" would probably be priced higher. The area is quite quiet, with occasional noise of children playing which made it feel homely. Great view of the cathedral. Alan

2 hours before check-in, we learned that we'd have to go on a scavenger hunt to pick up our room key because it was 7 blocks away at a store. This was an inconvenient and unpleasant surprise & should have been shared sooner. It was generally clean but there was a long black hair on my towel and in the master bathroom, it was clear that the floor and sink had not been cleaned from the previous renters. The floor had not been washed. The sink was dusty and had some sort of brown mark, thr faucet had water spots. Several things were in need of repair: the master bath shower head rod, the sink plug and a wooden boxed toe kick on the floor of the bathroom were all broken. The main bath was also dirty in places. Pullout bed was rock hard and made for a difficult sleep. Not enough pillows. The 4 of us (parents & 2 kids) ran out of toilet paper on day 3 of our stay. This felt very petty that they wouldn't provide enough for the full stay. I recommend splurging to provide those basics.

The flat itself is beautiful. Very nicely decorated - we all felt comfortable and it’s central to everything. The only thing that lets it down is the building itself as the main entrance door caused us a few problems. However I don’t think this would deter us from staying again because we were all very comfortable

Five of us stayed in the apartment which was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The location was great and the parking space a real bonus. The key collection and return were easy. The sofa bed was like a proper bed and told very comfortable! Would stay again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Liverpool who wanted to stay close to the docks area.

I gave a fair rating for the value and location, regardless of what our own experience was. Now, regarding our experience : We got there and found out that the elevator was not working (8th floor). Now we can’t blame the hosts for that, they don’t own the building so that’s out of their power. That being said, we called and reported the issue and were told we would hear back from them in maximum an hour with a solution (the hosts have multiple and are a business as can be seen in their profile). We didn’t hear a single word from them in 3 hours and then they said “we were very busy today”. Also, when we were there, multiple residents told us the elevator often shuts off in very high temperatures and it wasn’t a rare occurrence. So such deficiencies in the elevator CAN and SHOULD be expected. Overall, horrible horrible experience and I can’t recommend enough avoiding this listing. Airbnb support helped us navigate the situation and we got covered for an alternative through the insurance but it took us hours of back and forth and it was very stressful for what was supposed to be a good weekend.

loved this apartment in Liverpool. the location is great, walking distance to pretty much everywhere. The apartment is great, open plan, lots of space and storage with a good kitchen if you want to cook when there. The balcony was nice to sit out on and have a coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and stay again if visitng Liverpool in the future.

Overall a very positive experience. Good location close to the Liverpool docks, two bedrooms with clean sheets and plenty of space. Generally good communication from the hosts, with the only hiccup being that I had to call to get the correct entrance code. I'd also mention that when we wanted to do a load of laundry and the washing machine didn't work, the hosts were responsive and fixed the situation. Overall, very satisfied and would stay again.

My family of four had a great stay at this flat. It is spacious, cozy, and well furnished. The penthouse balcony was particularly nice for a quiet glass of wine overlooking the city in the evening. The location was also convenient to the places we wanted to visit while in Liverpool. If you arrive by car, the check-in process is a little wonky and takes some extra time and planning, as you’ll need to pick up the keys from a shop located several blocks away before you can park your car. I had to leave my family with the car in a loading area with the flashers on while I went to retrieve the keys. Check-out was the same process in reverse. This was clearly explained - communication was excellent the whole time - but it’s something to account for as part of your journey.

Great Location & Secure Parking! We stayed here for 2 nights - family of 4. On check in there were issues with getting the parking fob but it was resolved by the hosts very quickly. The apartment itself was comfortable, felt homely with great facilities. The apartment was generally clean but there was a lack of attention to detail and some things were not as clean as they should be. However there were cleaning aids provided. The location was spot on - you could walk into the city centre within 10-15 minutes. The underground parking was a bonus. We would definitely consider coming back if in the area.

Only after we booked did we get told that the key pickup place is elsewhere and is not we located if you arrive by train. The access to the property takes some working out, not all that smooth. The apartment is at penthouse level and is very large, good quality. However there was not user manual, the HWS was cold, and the stove top wouldn't work. Location is ok, a bit backstreet, but situated well enough between the Mersey and the CBD. Overall, an OK experience other that the utilities and key pick up and drop off process.

This was my most disappointing AirBnB stay. The listing and photo, as well as the price, created an impression of a lovely, well equipped and cared for apartment, but it didn't meet expectations, unfortunately. The location was fine - only about 10 mins walk to Albert Dock. However, we had to go to a shop some way from the apartment, and the city centre, to pick up the keys. The apartment block was not well maintained. The front door was stuck open a couple of times, which made us nervous about security. The entrance area was shabby, and the lights in the corridor on our floor didn't work, so we had to use a torch to lock and unlock after dark. It was a tight squeeze parking the car in the carpark. The apartment itself looked well used and didn't have the fresh look of the photos on the listing. There were marks on walls, a hole in the ensuite bathroom door and missing lights in the kitchen (one out of 2) and living room (2 out of 8). These seemed to be long standing problems (it would have been surprising if 3 lights had blown since it was prepared for our arrival.) We reported the missing lights but they couldn't be fixed before we left. There was no window or extractor fan in the ensuite bathroom. The cleaning was a bit patchy too. While the kitchen and bathrooms were generally clean, some areas were not, for example: dusty skirting boards, bits under the ensuite bathroom cabinet and a face mask left behind between the bedside cabinet and the chest of drawers. The wifi was poor, which also meant we couldn't use the TV in the living room. We were getting download speeds of around 10mbps, and upload speeds of less than 1. When we followed the instructions we were given for resetting the wifi, it became even worse with download at 4.37 and upload at 0.47. We couldn't get the TV in the bedroom to work at all. There weren't enough wine glasses for the three of us, though 3 more were brought when we asked for them. The crockery was a bit old with chips and scratches. I'm not sure how the available glasses and crockery would have sufficed for 6 people. Annoyingly, friends had booked an apartment nearer to Albert Dock that was better and cheaper, so I will definitely do more research next time.

We really enjoyed our apartment. Lovely views across the city (it’s up high and the balcony tested even my head for heights!), location was perfect between city centre and docks. Facilities are top notch, apartment was clean and modern. Hosts communication was excellent and the key pickup from a shop a few minutes away, plus locating the building parking and entrance is slightly complicated but clear instructions with pictures are provided. I definitely recommend this apartment for any type of visit to Liverpool!

Check-in was a bit of a nightmare. We've just come off a 5 hour train and had to go to a corner shop to pick up the keys and then head to the flat. Once there the key fob wouldn't open the front door, but we went through the parking garage. We tried the fob multiple times on the front door and only twice the door actually opened for us, every other time we had to come through the parking garage. Once inside, the elevator was broken! It wasn't the hosts fault of course but they knew this way ahead of time and didn't think it was something they should inform us about (apparently happens all the time). We needed to carry our suitcases up 8 flights of stairs. If it was my mum and dad traveling there's no way they would've been able to climb all those stairs. Definitely should've communicated with us ahead of time. Once in the flat the heat was off, it was freezing cold, I couldn't even get changed it was too cold. Took just over 2 hours to heat the house up, unsure why they didn't get the cleaner to start the heat when she was in a few hours before our arrival. Fridge and freezer both weren't working either, didn't find that out until the next day when my food was spoiled. Didn't bother calling and trying to get it fixed, stopped caring at this point. For check-out I had to bring the keys back to the shop, which was closed, but a random girl that I wasn't informed about walked up to me and asked for the keys, so I guess it went smoothly. Other than all of that the place was clean and in a good location. Honestly wouldn't stay here again though.

Upon arrival the Airbnb was very clean! We did however find that the couch and one of the beds was quite uncomfortable and the balcony door could not lock which was not very reassuring when sleeping or leaving the appartement (with our passports/laptops). The location of the apartment is really central, easy access to lots of restaurants/shops/pubs!

Really nice, clean apartment in a perfect location. Included parking space was perfect and incredibly helpful, and views from the balcony are absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. Kitchen stocked with everything, but perhaps some instructions on using the coffee maker because my parents didn't have a clue! Some noise comes up from the streets - mostly from loud, intoxicated locals in the middle of the night, but nothing that can be helped. The bedrooms got incredibly warm at night, and our window didn't open at all so it did get a little bit uncomfortable, too - we appreciated the fan but it wasn't enough! Seemed to be a good spot for the local flies around the balcony, and they did come in if the door was left open, so we had to be careful. Overall very nice apartment, perfect location and stocked with all the amenities. fantastic value for money all things considered, would stay here again. Thank you!

Great location and very clean and comfortable beds. It wasn’t communicated very well to us about the check in process and we ended up having to travel to get the keys- make sure to check this before you check in! The balcony was nice but unfortunately had a wasps nest therefore making it unusable. A very pleasant stay and I would definitely go back. Thanks!

A perfect location and a great view. The check in arrangement are somewhat tortuous even with comprehensive photos and explanations that were provided by text message... We were obviously not alone in finding ourselves outside the wrong apartment to be greeted with a sign on the door saying "This is not the AirBnB". Overall the apartment is spacious but the pull-out bed in the sitting area is not particularly comfortable and it is unpleasantly stained. It was great to have two bathrooms but neither had extractor fans or windows which was odd and meant that they were often rather damp. The balcony was lovely but it was a shame that the window in the second bedroom was bolted shut. That said, there was a wasps nest outside so perhaps it was no bad thing. Having toiletries was a nice touch but it was a pity there was no milk in the fridge which one often finds in AirBnBs. There were ice cubes in the freezer though as well as coffee pods and dishwasher tablets all of which were thoughtful extras.

Brilliant location, only a 5 minute walk to Albert Dock, and then into the city centre is 20mins. There’s a pub and a Tesco Express just down the road too. Less than 5mins walk. The apartment is very well specced, great decor and great appliances. Loved the Nespresso machine and pods supplied. The place was lovely and clean too. It’s on the top floor (8th) so there’s a lift or 144 stairs (yes I counted them). The balcony view is great, with the cathedral and city skyline. The PDF’d instructions supplied are very descriptive and useful, you need to follow them closely to find the shop to collect the keys and then find the apartment 2mins drive from the shop and the entrance to the car park. The free secure parking is spot on too. We were a family of 2 adults and 3 kids. We took a travel cot for the smallest child. Plenty DVD’s, games, books and a smart TV with Netflix to entertain the troops. I’ve given 4 stars overall as it was sooo hot, we were there during a heatwave so I’m aware this is beyond anyone’s control however the apartment seemed like a heat trap, difficult to sleep with the sweating, it would benefit greatly from some fans in each bedroom and the lounge. There was a wasps nest out on the balcony which kept us from fully opening the patio door and sitting out there. The hosts assured us this would be dealt with and communicated quickly with us. We would stay there again (seeking to avoid such hot weather again though). The location and the apartment were very good.

A great central location for a weekend break only a 10 minute walk from the Liverpool centre. The hosts provided clear communication to us ahead of the visit so we were clear where to collect the keys from and how to access the very handy parking available. This apartment is in a fabulous location with amazing views over the city. You can see both cathedrals lit up at night and enjoy morning coffee in the sun on the balcony. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, really well equipped kitchen, lovely hot showers and close to a handy well stocked Tesco Extra. Easy parking in the underground car park. We look forward to staying here again next time we visit family in Liverpool.

This is a very clean and spacious apartment. The lounge windows are east facing so the room is always warm in the mornings as the sun streams through. The balcony has views across the city and provides a place to sit an admire. The apartment is well located with a 5 min walk to the docks and less than a 10 min walk into town. No need to get cabs anywhere and the underground parking is very convenient. There's a Tesco Express at the end of the road for convenience needs as well as a local pub. No hesitation in recommending this apartment

It was super clean and I really loved the touches like the coffee machine with loads of pods free to use. The beds were comfy and rooms were light and bright. A lovely place to stay with a few small issues.there is no manual on how everything works although you do get most of this prior to your stay.the tv does have tv channels in the lounge despite the listing saying it doesnt.hopefully the broken blind in the 2nd bedroom will be adressed.we would most definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic apartment in such a great location, 10 mins walk from Albert Dock and the same walk from bars and restaurants. The underground parking space is really convenient if you’re driving there. The apartment is really spacious, exceptionally clean with everything you can ask for. The only down side was the heat in the apartment at night and the construction noise nearby from 7.30am. I’m not sure how the hosts could change that but it meant we never slept that well. We would have preferred to pick up the keys at the location rather than navigating around Liverpool’s one way system in the car to find the pick up point. This was made more difficult when we had a phone call less than 15 mins away to tell us we had to find a different location for the keys. We had a great time but the lack of sleep and difficulty in getting the keys changed the review from 5 stars to 4 stars.

The room and the location that I like the most , the room are exactly same as the photo , located on floor 8 , top of the building , this apartment is very near a center of Liverpool , about 10 min walking distance to John Lewis shopping mall , have a lotus express only few min away , but this apartment is run business by the company not by a host so you have to go to the center of town to there office to get the key and also have to return a key after you check out , so it is not really convenient for the people that have many luggage ,

The apartment was fantastic, in a great location just a 5-10 minute walk from the city centre. Everything was very clean, the apartment was well furnished and complete with tea, a hairdryer, DVDs, towels and extra blankets so we were very happy with everything that was provided. The beds were super comfy and the view from the balcony was great. The only issue was that we couldn’t work out how to turn on the hob, which turned out to be a simple issue to resolve however on ringing the hosts they had difficulty assisting us due to running many different properties. That aside, communication was very quick and staff were helpful and friendly. Check in and out were very easy and lots of info was provided to us before our stay. Overall great value for money, and I would definitely stay here again on returning to Liverpool!

Location was perfect, walking distance to Albert Dock & from Liverpool Lime Street train station. Host was fast response & help us to get late checkout because we need to go to another place in the morning before checkout. Very recomended!

Lovely apartment, clean & well presented could not ask for more. Great kitchen with great utensils, wanted for nothing. Allowed us to have a lovely Christmas with a great prepared meal. Only tiny thing to note is that I used the underground car park which was ideal, however I left the car park using the wrong exit which led me into building nu 33, not 31. So just to note, the exit is on the same side as the where you park, which is clearly marked “Apartment 35”. Finally great information & instructions provided before booking in, of where to locate key in lock box. Excellent & straight forward. Thankyou.

This airbnb was lovely, it was super central for going around Liverpool! We basically walked everywhere. The flat was clean, warm and stylish, and had more than enough amenities and space for everyone! Definitely recommend to all!!
