Good location to city centre, very comfortable beds, modern interior, quick response from staff via the app, balcony

WiFi didn’t work, strong damp smell, no plug for bath, shower door didn’t shut so floor got drenched, rusty plug hole in shower, located on a building site so building work started outside the bedrooms at 8am, have to pick up keys from a corner shop and drop off before check out time at 10 am

Die Lage im Zentrum war perfekt für einen Städtetrip. Einerseits die Innenstadt mit allen Bars, Restaurants und Shops. Andererseits auch nur 5 min zu Fuß bis zu den Docks. Sämtliche Bus und Bahnstationen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Bequeme Betten, ausreichend Handtücher.

Schlüsselübergabe war sehr kompliziert und etwa 10 min Fußweg entfernt in einem Mini Markt. Trotz vorheriger Kommunikation waren die Abläufe unzureichend.
Alles musste gesucht werden. Das ganze Haus wird gerade kernsaniert und ist eine große Baustelle. Balkon gar nicht nutzbar. Badezimmer schon etwas abgenutzt.

As regards situation in Liverpool, it was central and handy for sightseeing, restaurants, etc.

Poor communication from 'Host and Stay' - email links which didn't work, no information about £30 non-returnable damage cover. Key collection was difficult and it took 2 hours to access the apartment due to non-receipt of relevant passcode, wrong passcode given, second passcode enabled key collection but on arrival it did not fit the lock; several phone calls to 'Host and Stay' office later, someone from maintenance came with the correct key. My main grievance is that the apartment is on a building site surrounded by scaffolding, plastic sheeting, tape, etc. - this fact was not included in the booking information from booking.com but is mentioned in several reviews going back to at least April. I would not have booked this property if I had known. For what we paid (£569.90 + £30 damage cover) it did not represent value for money.

I was travelling on my own and was left with nobody to call as the key collecting instructions were not there. It took me two hours to get the keys. Had I have come late at night, I would have been totally stranded. This was a failure at the hosts end as I had added an extra night and whilst I had sent all my authorisation and deposit notices, the host had not merged the bookings. It was extremely stressful and an awful experience that I would not be booking this again.

Keys were at location that was too far from the residence.
The apartment was in a scaffolded building that felt very unsafe

Location to city centre was good
Warm, clean,
. Sofa bed was comfortable.

The place could use a bit more kitchen utensil’s and frying pan.
A better outside signage for fire exits.
As not visible with the place is under construction eluminated exits
Construction surprised us, a note in booking that that was occurring would have made us less wary upon arrival
Just minor: kitchen window was broken and while very clean place there was some staining on the nice furniture. Shower tends to spray out.
A more detailed location for key pick up and a description of the use of keys with fobs would be so beneficial as we were fortunate to have someone entering the buildings show us the steps

The location was brilliant. A 2 minute walk to Liverpool 1, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

Was awkward to find at first, as Google maps takes you to the other side of the street, but no big deal.

The flat itself was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spacious. However, outside the flat door was a working building site, albeit, safe. There were bannisters in place so as not to enter building site area. The workmen were really chatty and friendly, I had a good laugh with them. The location was great, a short walk to Albert Docks and transport networks and bars and grocery stores around the corner. Streets were quiet, which was good. TV had all apps for logging in to Netflix etc. KItchen was very well equipped. Power shower was delightful. Chargeable off-site parking for the two days was £50 but was just around the corner. Great for carrying luggage to and from flat. Really good value for money, excellent and speedy response to all correspondence from Host. Very friendly communication. Would definitely stay again.

Clean and good location.

It's in a building site. The bedrooms smell damp, there is no cladding on the outside wall, scaffolding and building work going on all around, we honestly thought we came to the right place. The fridge smells really bad too

Clean, well furnished but a bit short on crockery

Access difficult. The key had to be collected from a shop a fair walk away leaving others stranded outside with luggage. The entrance door was straight onto the pavement with a complex system of fobs instructions for which had been sent on different emails so everyone was looking things up and getting confused.
We were on the 5th floor where the walls were all stripped back and scaffolding everywhere so externally tatty.

The location was perfect 👌

5 towels for 6 guests, work being carried out on the building and workmen started around 6 a.m ish, but not told about this. No option for a little later check out even when asked if I wanted an extra night due to availability.
The fan in the bathroom didn't work so after a few showers was very hot in there.

Location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk from Liverpool one and Albert dock. Beds were comfortable.

Check-in was supposed to be from 3pm however the cleaners were late finishing and so I had to wait around for a full hour to get the keys while my family waited at a cafe. Then there was construction work going on from 8am that we hadn't been informed about and woke us all. The bath also leaked into the master bedroom and wet all the carpet, our luggage and clothes, causing a really bad smell in the room. We were told maintenance were coming to fix it, however there was no evidence of anyone having fixed it as it still leaked again the next morning. The accommodation said suitable for 6 people but there wasn't even 6 cups, bowls or plates available so people had t finish eating, then wash up the dishes before others could eat. There was not enough hand towels or toilet rolls either..... 1 hand towel to 6 people for 3 days! Some washing up liquid instead of washing tablets would have been more beneficial.

Everything, it was amazing and we didn't have to wait until 3pm to check in as the apartment was already cleaned and ready to go when we arrived at the bag drop. Top class service. Very clean and in an amazing location, will definitely stay here again.

Maybe add an extra couple of toilet rolls in the bathroom

Location was perfect for our party everything close by 5min walk to centre shops restaurants and bars, off licence just across the road for everything you need.

The Wi-Fi code i was given didn't work could have done with a laminated sheet with the Wi-Fi code on also some information as to where we could put our recyclables and the rubbish out as well.

Great location, clean, stylish and above all quiet (on the 5th floor)
Left luggage office very close by

Key collection and drop-off a long walk away (10 minutes)
Building itself is quite unsalubrious with stained concrete walkways and a dirty lift
Lack of shelves in the bathroom and and tables in the bedrooms
We saw silverfish in both the bathroom and the hallway
The fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning so we had to evacuate the building. No less than 5 fire tenders arrived lighting up Duke Street. Turned out to be a false alarm. May have been related to an audible alarm fault that had sounded persistently by the entrance since the previous day. The fire evacuation did not seem to be supervised at all, although we phoned the number on our key ring and had a prompt answer. I'm not convinced this building is properly managed and therefore safe.

The location is fantastic and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The management company were excellent and responded very quickly to messages and questions.

It's a 10 min walk from the apartment to pick up and leave off the keys which did not cause us a particular problem but would not be ideal with limited mobility or with children.

The location was perfect - really central. Q-park multi-storey in the next street (5 minute walk). For such a central location didn’t find it too loud at night either (sat - mon stay). All necessary appliances. Comfortable beds and great shower.

The arrangement to collect the key feels a little strange, particularly when there’s an office for Host basically around the corner… or even a shop that’s closer to the apartment for this arrangement. But it worked ok for us. The two gentleman in the shop when collecting and dropping off the keys were friendly.

Very central, clean and spacious.

Collecting the keys for the apartment, we got to the shop to collect the keys and the shop was closing up whoever it was that gave us the keys kept saying they were closed eventually he opened the door and we explained we were there to collect keys for the apartment, I had to personally offer him 20 pounds just to get his attention which he took, also some scumbag on a bicycle tried to intimidate us for no reason outside the shop we were only just out of a taxi from the airport 10 minutes, also the person that gave us the keys let the guy on the bike buy something after he said to us he was closed.Having the keys closer the the apartment (maybe the off-licence or the restaurant right across the road would be a better/safer idea for anyone checking in late)

I’m not really agree if they are in a rush to return the key, when I have to do it quite far away where the appartment is, evenmore if the guy who gave it to me has said me than they didn’t care if I returned it after the hour scheduled. It was great but I'm upset about that.

Clean apartment.
Comfortable beds.
Good facilities e.g. shower, and kitchen appliances.
Friendly hosts who provide detailed information all about your stay.

For those arriving when Host So Simple are still open it would be much easier to collect the keys from there rather than having to go to the Mini Mart.

A free bag drop for a couple of hours as you typically get at a hotel would also be nice given how much you pay already for the apartment.

I thought would of been an reception desk for easier contact we got locked out freezing for hours till cleaner let us all in cause none of us had any phones door slamped behind us no way of contact till cleaner came which was after 10am think door not rite as told same thing happened to one of your cleaners we were 71 apt cleanliness floor livingroom marked & stains on bed sofa.just going into building not very good impression not easy to find location of keys too far away ..Maybe provide drop box leave keys somewhere else more convenient I would of liked dishwasher & safety deposit box .If said it was porthouse building lot easier to find.

Location very good for restaurants & nightlife. Very quiet with no street noise

You had to walk 10 minutes past the apartment to collect the keys. Checkout (keys returned by 10am) very early considering you could only collect the keys at 3pm.
More mugs needed in the kitchen, only 4 there with room to sleep 6.

bed was broken on arrival, which was 12am so we were unable to contact them till 9am. bed was then fixed but broke again that evening. very disappointing.

The location was excellent. The shape and size was brilliant 2 bedroom great. Heating and water pipping hot .Cleaning let it down . Real shame .

The kitchen was not clean ,fridge not clean, utensils not clean everything that involved cooking was not clean . Food stuck on forks , knives , pots ,pans , plates . Everything had a greasy feel maybe washed in greasy water. Nothing washed properly from maybe last tenets . Fridge had mould and bits food on it shelves . It was a real pity because of it location I would have maybe stayed again . I booked with these hosts last year and the apartment was worse than this one .I didn’t realise was same hosts or would not have booked .Maybe it will be better now this has been pointed out . Real shame as it was a good size and great location .

The location was excellent right in the city centre of Liverpool which was handy as we didn’t need to get taxis. The apartment was clean and the location was quiet so meant you could get a decent sleep at night

The collection of keys is a bit of a Nuisance, we where sent a address through booking.com and when we went to this location we where told the code wasn’t working so got in contact with the office to be told we had to go to a different location which was another 20minute walk. This wasn’t ideal at all when we had a suitcase to hawk about.

The location, very near the city centre with nearby Tesco and several restaurants. The size of the apartment accommodates very easily a group of friends.

The process to pick up and deliver the apartment keys in a nearby (800m) 7/11 store, not very convenient, considering there are more facilities close to the apartment.

Lovely apartment, central location and surprisingly very quiet. Communication from hosts was excellent. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Had everything we required for our two night stay.

Met 5 personen en 1 badkamer is het wel krap in de ochtend ! De bedden waren voor volwassenen aan de korte en smalle kant.
