i don't think it was clear that this is a basement apartment. some small basics are not provided that again was not made clear, things like handsoap, tea towels minor other essentials. the blind in biggest bedroom is too small for the window. does. it does not say that you should not lock the door from the inside or you will be locked in. issues with the hot water that were not resolved. the parking is not outside the property and depending on availability, could be a distance from the property which could be an issue if you have mobility issues, nowhere to pull up outside to unload or drop off. many of these details are not released until a few days before you get there. the apartment itself is nice enough as is reflected in the photos and the location is good. it was a comfortable stay but I would not use it again personally

Gorgeous building and apartment exactly as description and images. Parking permit really helpful and we did everything on foot. Apartment comfortable and it had everything we needed. Very comfy beds and sofa bed was very easy to use and a good size. Lots of towels. Only negative was the noise from the boiler but this only affected some of our party. If we'd been there longer than 2 nights I think you'd get used to it. Would stay again happily.

We had a lovely weekend in Liverpool and the apartment is in a great location just a short, easy walk to the city centre. Parking with the permit in the next street worked well. The flat was clean, spacious, and the beds were very comfortable, which we appreciated after long days out exploring. However, there were a few downsides. The listing didn’t mention that the apartment is a basement flat, so we initially climbed to the top floor with all our luggage, to discover it was actually below street level. The living area was also much darker than expected because of the basement setting. There was quite a bit of noise at night, likely from a water pump, which disturbed the sleep of the girls in that room. The Hall PIR sensor light going on and off during the night didn’t help either. On a positive note, there was a hair dryer in the property, even though the listing said there wasn’t. Check-out was easy, and overall we had a great time in an interesting city—thank you!

Absolute great place to stay we had lots of room with our family of 4 and our 2, 1.5 year old twins had fun with the toys left for them by the owner! Will stay here again if/when we come back to Liverpool.

Lovely flat , very handy for walking into town centre ( docks , Liverpool 1 , all about 20 mins walk ) . We were a party of 2 adults , 1 teenager , plenty of room in flat . Had a great time in Liverpool overall, fab city to visit . Toxeth ( as it has always been ) is a very mixed location , beautiful Georgian houses mixed with the not so beautiful areas , but that’s what we were expecting .

Lovely apartment and great location. It was quite noisy in the evening with other flats returning after a night out etc. There is also a lot of noise from what I think is the water pump that goes on and off throughout the night. We found it a little difficult to sleep. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.

Lovely apartment, good location and parking wasn’t an issue. Check in easy - had no issues at all. I did find communication slightly overbearing at points, especially in comparison to other air bnb’s I’ve stayed in. However host did not take long to reply.

Nice cosey apartment. Stayed up for the football. Easy to get to anfield, whilst the girls could easily get into town for shopping. Easy for us to get to restaurants, bars etc. Uber very cheap and readily available. Kitchen good spec, comfy beds and great lighting. Only thing that that doesn’t make it a 5 is noisey next to first bedroom due to water heater in stairs cupboard (I believe), aswell as being below main corridor to property.

Nice and well furnished apartment on the ground/-1 floor, not too far away from most of the attractions. The building itself is quite old, the apartment is opposite a not very airtight door to the backyard. It was cold inside the apartment on arrival (in January), but it warmed up pretty quickly, except for the hallway - it was always cool there regardless of the thermostat level, however the rooms were quite warm. As for the apartment itself - it matches the photo, although not so perfect in reality (as always with rental / hotel bookings, etc) - something is shabby, something is leaking (shower). But it was quite comfortable to live there comparing to other houses / flats in different cities during our trip - London, Liverpool, Manchester.

Fantastically clean and well specced apartment in a great part of Liverpool. The flat has all the amenities you would need and is very comfortable for 2 couples. It’s also very well located for walking to the city centre. We would definitely book again for our next trip to Liverpool.

In the middle of a kitchen renovation we booked the apartment for the Christmas break. It was just as described- very comfortable with everything you need for your stay . We had some confusion over keys and that was resolved quickly with the host sorting a new additional key on Christmas Eve- thank you! We had a great stay, cooked a full Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen :) The location is perfect, close to Hope street which is the best part of Liverpool- great bars restaurants and things to do on your doorstep. 10/10 thank you. Ps some info on how to get rid of your rubbish / recycling would be helpful.

Had a fantastic few days! I ALWAYS stay at the properties owned by these guys as they are super well equipped and very pleasant to stay in. We loved staying here, great location and the lovely open plan living/dining/kitchen was perfect for my little pre-Christmas get together with my two sons. A few little issues were dealt with swiftly and the response time from the team was excellent. Thank you so much, would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely apartment, very nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and lots of things (tea bags, milk, butter, sauces etc) in a great location for the University, the Cathedrals and the top end of Bold St. Unfortunately, despite “quiet hours” being emphasised on the listing and through the booking process, we were woken several times on our first two nights with people coming in and out of the house. The door and entrance hall are directly above the pillows in the main bedroom and the people coming in and out between 11:30 and 4am made very little effort to be quiet. We did contact the host who (after the initial AI response) assured us they would try to contact the other residents. The the next two nights were quiet but it was Sunday and Monday night and the flat directly above doesn’t look like it’s a Host & Stay flat (patched up door and scruffy blinds in the windows) so we can’t be certain that it was the intervention that made the difference. Such a shame

We enjoyed the property during our Liverpool visit and would consider booking again. The property was of good quality with spacious rooms and impressive decor. However, we’re giving a 3-star rating due to areas needing improvement: Only 1 toilet roll provided for 6 guests. Only 4 towels were supplied, despite there being 6 of us. Lack of responsiveness on Airbnb; generic replies and no resolution for toilet roll/towel issues. No hand towels in the kitchen. Lack of flexibility for late checkout, even for a reasonable request (11:30 AM). While the stay was pleasant, more attention to detail and prompt responses would’ve made it 5 stars. I hope the company takes this feedback on board.

Nice apartment in the Georgian Quarter within easy walking distance of amenities. The building is a little tired inside and out, but the apartment is clean and tidy and has most of the things you need for a comfortable self-catered stay.

Nicely furnished basement flat in a good quiet area of the city with easy parking within a 20 minute walk to the city and docks. The only issue was an Intermittent fan/blower noise coming from above. Thought it was the ventilation or extractor fan but turned both off and noise was still there into late night and early morning so sleep was slightly disturbed. I did email about and they said they’d ask the property manager but unfortunately it went unresolved. Other than that we had a good stay on our first visit to the City. One tip bring some nespresso pods they have a machine but no pods provided.

Lovely apartment, in a great location with a very responsive hosting team. The only thing to note is that we were required to pay a deposit that we were not aware of to get the checkin information. This should be communicated, as we only knew this after we had paid and reserved the booking and the £25 fee was not refundable. Other than that, it was a great stay and loved staying at this apartment, this was great for a small group. We were a group of 5 people and it had lots of amenities to accomadate our party.

We had a lovely few days in Liverpool, and rhe accommodation was lovely. Everything was as we expected it to be. It was a good 20 minute walk down to Albert Dock, and maybe slightly longer coming back as you're heading up hill. There were restaurants close by including China Town. The only negative for me was the lack of a hand rail on the internal stairs leading into the apartment.

Lovely, spacious and clean flat in the Georgian Quarter. The flat is a basement flat so the amount of natural light that comes in is limited but we were out most of the time so this was not a big issue for us. You can hear noise from the flat upstairs and we heard people coming in in the early hours one of the mornings. The Airbnb is run by a management company and this comes through in the communications (prompt but perhaps lacking the personal touch you usually get with owner managed listings). We overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This place was well located just up from the Cathedral in the Georgian quarter. It was 20 mins walk from lime street and Liverpool One. It was a lovely location and yet quiet in the evening/night. The place was as described. Modern, clean, well maintained and comfortable. The hallway is not that appealing but behind the front door of the apartment it is lovely! We are a family of 5. So the 2 double beds and pull out sofa worked well. The comms with the hosts (the company) was swift and courteous. There was everything we needed. kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, etc. Also a hairdryer. The heating is "fancy"! and takes a little while to reach the new temp after you change it. I would recommend finding you preferred temp and leaving it there. The spare linen, if required for the sofa bed should be requested for in advance and is under the main bedroom bed in 2 storage bags. The bathroom is lovely. I suspect this is a newly renovated apartment. The Christmas tree was a nice touch!

This beautiful apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Clean, cosy (but not cramped) and well appointed. Pleasant location and close enough to town to walk, too. Oh, and the parking permit was invaluable! Would definitely recommend.

A really nice place to stay. Rooms spacious well laid out and clean. Kitchen area nicely laid out. Communication with the team was excellent. Large TV with all main streaming channels. Really nice shower. Main downside is it is a basement apartment with a communally accessed front door. Probably a one off but when I stayed there recently we could hear some blokes directly above us arguing in the hallway for a long period in the early hours of Sunday. Unfortunately I had to ring the police for assistance. This would make me wary of staying in a similar place i.e. a large communally accessed front door of a house. This is especially in a basement apartment and even more if I have my family with me. I don't think this is any reflection on the team that are letting this place out as they were excellent. I just hope this was an unfortunate isolated one off incident.

This apartment is absolutely brilliant, really well presented with great décor, everywhere was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for a family of 4 with 2 young boys. The instructions for the heating and the apartment amenities' were all laid out and well presented for ease of use. Location is perfect for heading into Liverpool city Centre, as exiles from the city we chose this place knowing it was in a great location for the city Centre but were blown away by how nice the apartment was. We would definitely stay here again Katy, Joe and the team were great hosts and very responsive to messages in the build up to our stay, thank you
