This is the worst Airbnb I have stayed in, in 8 years. It is a construction site with cables hanging from the wall and leaks everywhere. The apartment is ok but getting into it isn't. I had a message whilst traveling to Liverpool to say they couldn't offer me the 3 bed apartment I had booked. instead I had to take a 2 bed with no discount. The photo's and description do not show how bad the interior of this building is.

The apartment is a really good space. 3 bedrooms are all very good sizes so 6 of us staying there comfortably. The building works are annoying to have to walk up the stairs with cases, buggy etc but the team were very open about it so we were prepared. I would just say you couldn’t plan to cook in the apartment for many people - no baking tray, toaster, only small saucepan etc. The company was responsive and offered to bring a baking tray so worth asking if you’re there and need anything.

Everything is so good except there is construction and the lift is not working so we need to carry our luggage upstairs. Also, the night of the hallway before getting into the house wasnt working sometimes so we need to turn on our flashlight to find the keyhole. But, overall everything is good. The team communicates effectively and efficiently. And the place is in a walkable distance to the Main Streets.

Great communication with host. Had some issues with blinds/curtains but host was amenable. Good location close to main area. Apartment was clean and looked as advertised. Construction going on in main area but host had warned us of this and did not affect our stay.

A great flat in a central location in the city, around 10-15 mins walk from Lime St Station. The flat is on the third floor and when we stayed there were building works taking place in the building including replacing the lift (elevator) car, so this was out of service. We were only told about this after booking/paying (we booked a day in advance of our stay, so were already in full cancellation charges if we decided to cancel). Something really should have been updated on the property description to forewarn that there would be 3 floors to climb with suitcases. One of the baking trays in the kitchen wasn’t clean and we only found this on the last day otherwise we would have said earlier. I’m sure this is just an oversight of the cleaner though. To be fair to the owners, they did apply a discount afterwards and the difference was refunded to us. Overall a decent flat in a central location.

Used the apartment when we travelled from Glasgow for the grand National! Didn’t need to get any taxis whilst we made our way around the city centre as we were central to everything! Apartment was so clean & easy to find ! Would definitely use again & would recommend.

Communication was great! Extremely responsive and accommodating to our short notice booking. We were pre-warned about the construction work going on in the building but not to the extent that we actually experienced. Very off putting and unsafe! Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed, just a shame that the building it is located in is still so unfinished.

Nice apartment. Very spacious bedrooms. Good location for the city. Easy to park in NCP car park right next door. As others have said, huge amount of construction work going on in the building which meant no lift and stairs etc very dirty but apartment itself wasn’t impacted and hosts had pre-warned us about the work. We were there over the weekend so builders were only working on the Saturday morning.

The Hosts communicated well and tried their best to fix issues we had, however, the host’s were in no way transparent regarding the level of construction taking place at this property, it’s categorically a full building site Mon-Fri, they had an obligation to inform us about this. There were large holes in each landing level floor which I’m guessing are to accommodate future pipe work which will pass down from the construction which is clearly happening on the top level of the building. Lift shaft was boarded up so had to use the staircase and navigate around the many tradesmen ascending and descending the stair case constantly, annoyingly we were on the 5th floor. The tradesman left a very loud radio playing all night on floor above. I had a body hair from the previous guest on my toilet seat, the shower floor was dirty as the drain was blocked so waste water leaves dirt in shower as it slowly drains. The fridge had food crumbs and debris from previous guest. All in all, not good.

We had a pleasant stay. However to mention, as you entered the building and walked up all the flights of stairs to the 3rd floor to the apartment it was a building site! The lift was boarded up, we were warned a couple of days before our stay the lift was being serviced, I would suggest it had been boarded up for some time. This was a great inconvenience as we had a toddler, pram etc. Although we were offered a hand by the team for when we arrived you really cannot judge exacting what time you were going to get there and we did come and go on several occasions and then had to carry it all down when we departed. An elderly person would not of managed it. There was a great deal of communication on booking and throughout and I did feel we were asked a few too many questions. Great location for the city and the apartment was clean and comfortable.

Great location! Public parking is safe and across the street. Katy, Joe & Team's communication and kindness is great . All amenities ; super and Pub less than a 3 minute walk away The photos are spotless but not very attached to the materials in the property . We were touched by high temperature and has no air conditioning or fans in each room. Spaces are good! Yes, we would rent it again!

We had a lovely stay at this apartment. The communication was great from the start. Really helpful and answered all our questions. We did have a few issues with cleanliness and the apartment did feel a tad tired. We contacted the host and they did try to solve some of the issues and kindly offered us some money back which was much appreciated. The location gets top marks.

Overall we were very happy with the apartment, location is very good and within walking distance of everything. Communication from Katy Joe and team was excellent and picking up keys etc was very easy. Plenty of good quality clean white towels, beds were comfortable and bedding clean and crisp. Everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms were clean and spacious. Only two issues which stopped us giving higher marks were that windows were very dirty especially the lounge, this may be due to building works around and above but it didn’t appear any effort made to clean. The lights in upper hall outside the flat door worked only spasmodically, they are on sensor which must be faulty. Overall the apartment is showing signs of needing a spruce up but we realise that the months of inactivity due to covid would not have helped Katy and Joe. We would use them again if we return to Liverpool

I personally would not stay with Katy, Joe and the team again. We were a party of 7 people that stayed for my 40th birthday from 29th to the 31st December. On the afternoon of the 30th December, which was my birthday, one of my friends could smell gas and the carbon monoxide alarm started going off. Someone had rolled a massive rug up and put it in the boiler cupboard. We all had headaches and felt poorly, we contacted them ASAP and were moved straight away to another apartment further outside of town. Whilst this was inconvenient never less I will give them their dues for moving us so quickly, however the second apartment we moved too was student accommodation, which wasn't even close to what or where we had been previously staying in. Later on in the evening one of the door handles to the bedroom doors broke as it was faulty. This meant 2 of the people could not get into the bedroom where there belongings were and they were sleeping. We once again called AirbNb to explain the situation which initially they wanted us to resolve by getting a locksmith, my friends did get quite irate with the customer service rep and eventually they sent a locksmith out to get into the bedroom but this was gone midnight by then. I would have expected a least half of the money back from the accommodation given we stayed in two faulty apartments and the fact it was my birthday and the occasion was totally ruined with these issues. Not forgetting that we also had headaches from gas fumes however they only offered back £100 which in my view is poor customer service and is not even half the money paid. I wouldn't stay in their apartments again for fear of not knowing what else will go wrong!

The apartment looked so good on the pictures but turned out to be a flophouse! We couldn’t collect the keys in time for check-in, because the cleaners were still “cleaning” the appartment. After the room was ready, we get back to the appartment and found a bloody towl in the bathroom, a kitchen with a dirty oven (lucky we, that we didn’t have to cook) and a bad smelling yellow couch where we think someone vomited before. Unlucky we didn't made pictrues, but a 10% discount on the next stay isn't what we are expecting in fact of such an experience. Unfortunately we took a bad stay at this appartment. I hope we were a single case!

We all had a fantastic time in Katy and Joe’s apartment. It’s in a really central location and within walking distance of all the well known Liverpool attractions including the Cavern Club, the Docks, Beatle attractions etc. The apartment has everything you need for a lovely break away, the beds are very comfy and there was plenty of room for all eight of us to chill in the lounge/dining area. Key pick up and return is also very easy. We would not hesitate to return

The apartment is so spacious and modern. It felt really clean. There was plenty of room for 8 of us that stayed there, and it could easily sleep 10. We had bedding, toilet roll, everything for the kitchen too such as tea towels and coffee. We were really well provided for. It's right near the Cavern Club which is just epic and perhaps a 15 min walk to the docks but you can walk all through town to get there so it's a nice walk. It's a great place to stay, especially with a group. The car parking nearby was particularly high when we went though, but we found one about 15 min walk away that was more reasonable so it wasn't a problem.

Fabulous stay at the Apartments in Liverpool. I booked this stay as a celebration for my daughters Birthday for her and some friends. From the moment we booked, all communications were fast, efficient and helpful. We were given precise instructions on how and where to collect the keys from and how to drop them off again. I asked for a number of things, including a number to call if I had a problem checking in, and got it. I asked for the nearest car park and the instructions arrived immediately. Everyone I dealt with was polite, friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was lovely, clean and spacious and had everything a group of friends would need. My daughter and her friends had a lovely stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

Great, large apartment in a good location. Communication from the team was great, had a slight issue when we arrived but this was solved very quickly. We just found the cleaning equipment limited, so unable to do dishes and clean apartment before leaving. Other than that we had a great stay!

The accommodation location was a perfect spot for people wanting to explore the city! The only downside we had was that we’d chosen the hottest week of the summer to visit and the bedrooms were insanely hot even with the small table fans on. However, I’m sure during a time that’s not 25+ degrees it would have been a much more comfortable sleep! Would highly recommend it as the flat itself was absolutely lovely!

This is a very spacious, modern flat, with a lovely outside terrace area and a very central location!!! Would happily stay here again. Great communication from the management team. There was a lack of crockery, glass ware and cutlery - however this didn't spoil our weekend!

Good location, the rooms do get very hot however and the fans provided are very loud. Not much glassware and crockery so had to improvise/ purchase reusable items. Cleaning standards could use better attention to detail considering the times we are in now you would hope this is would take priority.

The place is beautiful and stylish. The host is really quick at replying, friendly, helpful when I needed taxi company names, and informative too. It was my first time coming to Liverpool and I was well informed about Liverpool tourist places and best things to do. Me and my guests really enjoyed the stay. Pros - looks exactly like the picture, spacier, coffee machine, 2 shower options, wide range of cutlery and glasses, well equipped kitchen, 2 min supermarket near by, so near the centre, lift, Netflix, fast WiFi, Massive mirrors. Cons - I couldn’t stay longer. Recommend wearing socks with grips so you don’t slip on the floorboards!
