A really beautiful place to stay in Thornham! Lovely decor, homely yet modern, and everything you’d need. Great for families with little ones like us. Location is perfect, and easy to park on roads nearby. Unfortunately the internet wasn’t working when we stayed, which also meant the TV didn’t work either. We didn’t know this about the TV before we arrived which did hinder our trip slightly. Also the cleaner was there when we arrived, which wasn’t the best after travelling a few hours with young children! One more negative was there was only one tea bag and the plates were quite dirty, so maybe just a little bit more attention to detail with the housekeeping we’d have voted it 5 stars! Despite those few things, we’d stay again for sure!

We had a wonderful week in Thornham at the chapel. The place itself is beautifully decorated with elements of the chapel retained. The main living space was great for us to hangout - we didn’t need the log burner but I could imagine it being so cosy in the cooler months. The bedrooms are not the largest but cosy. Beds were super comfy! The surrounding countryside / beach is stunning with several nature reserves nearby. There’s a lovely deli and several pubs within walking distance. It’s not the cheapest area so something to be mindful of if on a budget. The only thing that slightly lets it down is the lack of outside space. We went in the summer and it would have been nice to sit outside.

We would highly recommend staying at The Chapel. Our hosts provided everything we could need and more! Packed full of character and decorated beautifully. A fantastic location with lots to do within easy reach, we'd visit again anytime.

We had a very comfortable stay at The Chapel, as a family of four including two small children (2 and 5). The living space is large and comfortable and all areas decorated to a high standard. There are plenty of good pubs and restaurants within just a few minutes' walks and Thornham is very well-suited to exploring the north Norfolk coast generally. Some of the contents of the kitchen could do with refreshing (the frying pan has seen better days) but it was well-stocked. We would happily return.

Really great stay at The Chapel in Thornham. House was very easy to find and although was on road parking only, we never had a problem finding a spot close by. Loads to do in the area and generally it’s lovely- lots of good restaurants and pubs and only a 5 minute drive to Brancaster beach, which is beautiful. We also did the walk to Thornham beach which we would recommend if weather is nice. Took us about 45 mins to get to the actual beach. The house was nice, the decor is great and it is very well-equipped with everything you need, including Sky Q and brilliant showers. Just a few small bits of maintenance that need addressing, but reported these and was nothing major or anything that caused us an issue, just some loose handles/ shelves etc. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay in a fantastic area, especially if you like good food, drink, beaches and walks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chapel Thornham. The location was perfect, with Brancaster beach just a short drive away. This made exploring the surrounding area easy and enjoyable. It’s right in heart of Thornham, the Orange Tree restaurant was a highlight. It offered delicious food and a brilliant play area that kept the children entertained. During the warm weather, the fans kept us comfortable throughout our stay. While the property doesn’t have a garden - something I missed in the description, we still had a wonderful time. The property was generally very clean though a few minor areas could use a bit more attention. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay. We were very happy with our visit.

Lovely Chapel furnished comfortably with interest, great sheets and bedding, very clean, well equipped kitchen with supplies, log burner a must for us. Great location with close access to beaches, Marshes, Holkham Hall, Hunstanton, Wells next-to sea and other. Quiet village with interesting history. Relaxing few days.

Lovely property, very modern stylish and comfortable. Very well appointed with everything you could need in the kitchen, sky tv, games etc. Generous welcome basket of goodies, which was appreciated. Perfect location for walks and exploring the area. Only down side was an ant infestation, which affected the downstairs. We used ant spray, found in the kitchen, but they did keep returning, which wasn't nice especially in the kitchen. We did report this on check in, but no action, advice or apology was given, which was disappointing. was

My husband and 2 young kids had a great 3 nights at The Chapel. Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and easy check in and check out. No dedicated parking but there was always plenty of space round the corner by the church.

What a fantastic place!! We took our 3 children for a weekend away & couldn’t have felt more at home. With underfloor heating downstairs & upstairs the house was always the perfect temperature, Beds super comfy & the area seemed a very very safe place. We visited brancster beach ( 7 min away) and the lifeboat for roast dinner which was exceptional. Would 100% stay here again.

From the moment we arrived the house was very welcoming, lovely modern amenities house but with lots of charm and character. The host provided a lovely welcome basket with wine and goodies which made it even more inviting. Host was easily contactable which was a comfort should we have needed her but everything was perfect.

A great short stay with family to explore the area. Perfectly positioned to visit lots of beaches and other attractions, and Thornham itself is a lovely village with some lovely pubs and places for good food. The Chapel is a beautiful property, tastefully decorated and with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended.

Fabulous location in the middle of north Norfolk’s gorgeous coastline within easy reach of Holme, Hunstanton, Holkham, Wells and Cley. Stylish converted chapel with abundant amenities; this owner has thought of everything a visitor might need, including boxes of spare toiletries, a rucksack and beach toys. Beds are comfortable, two bathrooms perfect for six people. TV has a wealth of channels. Top it all with a utility room with a second overflow fridge, freezer and washing machine. We had a very comfortable stay and the welcome pack was lovely! No parking but we parked easily just around the corner next to the church, so no hassle at all. I can thoroughly recommend The Chapel.

Great family trip to Norfolk. The Chapel felt like a home away from home as our base for walking & golf based adventures. Some great restaurants nearby and everything you could possibly think of in the house (spare chargers, batteries, sky TV, games etc) barring (as stated) shampoo and shower gel! The downstairs area in particular was great for socialising in the evenings. Would recommend!

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at The Chapel in Thornham. From the moment we walked in, it just felt like home – beautifully kept, incredibly clean, and clearly so thoughtfully put together. Everything we could possibly have needed was there, and then some. The beds were really comfortable, and the whole place just had that calm, welcoming feel that makes it easy to relax into your break straight away. The location couldn't have been better. Right next to The Orange Tree - which we’d also highly recommend for food and atmosphere - and within easy reach of everything we wanted to do locally. So much care had gone into anticipating guests' needs – from local recommendations to practical bits you might have forgotten to pack. We’d absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property perfect for a group of friends to celebrate a special birthday. Great location for exploring North Norfolk and plenty of walkable amenities including Thornham Deli and lovely pubs. The property is well designed and furnished really nicely. Would love to come back and would definitely recommend.

We stay in North Norfolk a fair amount and have stayed in Thornham a few times. There was 5 of us this time, rather than the normal 3, so we were looking for somewhere a bit bigger. I could not fault the Chapel, it exceeded all expectations, from the welcome basket to all the extra added touches. If ever there was a place that could be used to set an example on how to do a holiday rental property for other Air BnB accommodations to follow then this place would be it.

Great location for pubs, parks, walks and the local deli (though VERY busy in the deli so a bit tricky to enjoy a chilled browse). The Chapel had great facilities and lots of thoughtful touches which made it feel very homely although having access to a garden area would have made it next-level to be able to sit out on an evening or for a sunny breakfast. Its location on the High Street was great for getting around but was a bit busier than expected for a small Norfolk village so the cars and people passing after the pubs closed was a bit noisy. Really helpful and responsive hosts - thank you :)

Great accommodation for up to 6 people. Loved the spacious open plan downstairs with excellent kitchen/dining area alongside lounge. Excellent for relaxing and entertaining. All instructions from hosts were clear and proactive and accommodation and facilities were spotless and high quality. Had no problem parking on nearby street and enjoyed meals at both Deli and Orange Tree in Thornham. Whilst the Chapel is on the main road this did not cause any issues and overall it is a very convenient location for exploring north Norfolk.

We had a brilliant stay at the Chapel, they’ve really thought of everything from spare phone chargers, fully fitted out kitchen, to lovely coffee table books to stair gates. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very homely. The location is perfectly between Wells, Holkham, Sandringham and Hunstanton - lots to do and all within easy reach.

We had a lovely stay at the Chapel and (crucially for us!) it is well kitted out for families with a travel cot, highchair, stair gates, washing machine/tumble dryer etc. There was a minor issue with a broken TV which was communicated to us before we arrived - the host went to great effort to get it resolved within a couple of hours of us arriving which we felt was excellent service and was much appreciated.

The Chapel is a beautiful place to spend a weekend. The interior is gorgeous, and extremely well equipped. It’s a wonderful space for everyone to enjoy a long weekend, including children. The location is fantastic - we walked to 2 pubs and the local coffee shop, as well as along the Norfolk coastal path - all within 10 minutes from the property. Hunstanton is just a short drive up the coast as well as lots of other beautiful places. Communication with the host was fast and friendly.

Had a really lovely stay here! The house was clean and exactly as pictured. The local area is peaceful and beautiful, would definitely recommend. The only small downside was that the listing states there is free parking on premises under the "parking and facilities" section of the listing, but this is not the case. However, there is ample street parking a short walk away.
