Hi, I booked this stay to treat my parents anniversary for a little family celebration, but unfortunately my parents fell ill as they are elderly. I requested a week ago for change of date but the host was so inconsiderate that he did not give me any option. And I couldn’t go all my hard earned money went to vein. I generally book multiple airb&b in year for family outing but never had this kind of issue. Very rude & very disrespectful

Beautiful accomodation. Very private, peaceful area, Plenty of parking spaces. Very clean and comfortable. Super modern kitchen with everything you would need. Tea and biscuits provided as was ice in the freezer, which was welcomed. Huge bathroom with walk in shower. Hosts were very friendly and quick to reply to any questions. Would highly recommend this property. We visited Cromer, which was about 40 minutes away and the local nature reserve, a couple of minutes away.

The place is exactly as described, quiet, secluded and exactly like photos so we were big fans. The kids loved the space and we loved that the open living space upstairs stayed lovely and warm. Loads to do within 30 minutes in every direction. Highly recommend staying here

Beautiful large house with great outdoor space. All the essentials were provided and more plus lots of games and books for entertainment. We used as a base to explore the coast 20-30 mins away, plus the Broads 45 mins away. There was still plenty in the immediate area and we would highly recommend The Scunthorpe Mill and it's beautiful beer garden and food, The Fat Cow for a unique burger van experience in a wildflower meadow and Sculthorpe Nature Reserve for an unexpectedly full day out for bird watchers. The property is near an RAF base, great for if your interested in the planes flying over, but could be very noisy at times. We had some confusion with the management company around the keys, as they didn't seem to understand our messages and it meant we couldn't access the BBQ. All in all though a fantastic stay, thank you Owl Barn

Lovely property, in excellent condition, very clean, good location, lots of parking, good 'kit' included; fully stocked kitchen, kid games, lovely fluffy towels, etc. We had a great stay and having such a nice place as our base made the holiday.

Thank you for a lovely stay! The location was good for the North Norfolk coast. This unique property was very well equipped and my grandson enjoyed reading the books and playing with the toys. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you again!

very well equipped kitchen and lots of books and kids games. comfortable beds, lovely big towels. the showers could do with a good clean, the ensuite one in particular has a fair bit of mould and smells very damp. the extractor fans are not very good and the smoke alarms are sensitive, they went off with the steam from the showers. unfortunately at the time I went there was lots of flies in the house, perhaps because it was in the countryside, near farms and June. they had left a can of fly killer, but we had small children with us and didn't want to spray chemicals into the air. it is a really lovely house and the old mill pub down the road is a lovely walk and amazing food!

We had a lovely stay at the Owl Barn. They were very responsive and helpful when I enquired about the area and if we had any issues or questions. Especially liked the outside space and that there were multiple pubs /restaurants in walk-able distance as well as nature reserves. Would definitely recommend it. Dom

Fantastic property & a home from home. Spacious, clean & modern with lovely gardens & views. Located really close to lots of attractions & Fakenham town just 2 mins drive away. We stayed in the winter so didn’t get to enjoy the large garden but I’m sure in the summer it’s stunning. Recommended.

What a beautiful place. Perfect to explore the area. Amazing pub nearby (but beware crossing the busy road). Huge garden for kids to play (and adults!). Everything was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.

Owl Barn was beautiful and well located for exploring the north Norfolk coast and countryside. The photos are a perfect representation of what you can expect. It was well kitted out with all you could need for a family break away. We had a great time and I would highly recommend.

This is such a lovely place to stay! Exceeded our expectations. The owners have thought of everything to make the place a home away from home from a well stocked kitchen, to board games, a high chair and even a welcome basket. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for making our holiday! The location is private and the instructions for self check in couldn’t have been clearer. X

We had a lovely long weekend at Owl Barn. The owners have thought of everything you could need to make it your own. We travelled with some friends and their young children (and ours). The kids loved it and we didn’t even end up using most of the toys we brought because the accommodation was so well stocked. It’s the perfect combination between a traditional, cosy barn whilst also being modern and plush! Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed and more to cook meals. We enjoyed visiting the local area - Wells, a cold walk along Holkham Beach and Pensthorpe. The only small issue we found was trying to stop the toddlers from getting down the steep stairs (the living room and kitchen are upstairs and bedrooms downstairs). There is a stair gate available at the house but it didn’t work for us so we had to keep a close eye on the littlest ones. Just worth being aware if you are travelling with young children.

Well equipped property with very helpful fans given the weather during our stay. Spacious and comfortable. Laundry facilities in the property were really useful. The location is perfect for exploring north Norfolk with large supermarket amenities within nearby fakenham. We enjoyed our stay and the outlook from the property across farmland was lovely. We experienced that mobile phone signal was limited across four different providers; this was throughout most places we visited. While we were at the property the Wi-Fi didn’t function. Would recommend that you download any essential entertainment or information before leaving home.

The property was beautiful with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to stay in and cook. Great location for exploring many areas of Norfolk including Wells-next-to sea, Sherringham, Blakney Quay. Accomodation is big enough for 2 families, would definately go back.

This is an amazing property, located in a beautiful place near key places in Norfolk. The house has all to offer to make people of different ages feel at home and happy. Great kitchen with plenty of kitchen tools, games for kids, lovely back garden, beautiful nature, etc. It is decorated with style. Just near by you also have great restaurants. Excellent hosts.
