When the pub opposite is having a Kaneohe night it’s like camping at a festival I’m afraid and goes on til late (1140 for us). It’s very small and well stocked, great location and parking is easy up the road, but if you like a quiet night in sometimes it can be noisy.

This is the second time we have stayed with Norfolk holiday properties, once in fisherman’s cottage and once in shoemakers cottage, love the location of these two and will definitely be using again.

Fantastic cottage , great location and incredibly cosy . We spent a week work away at the cottage and had a very leisurely time . Very near the beach and all the top restaurants , bakery’s . Hoping to make this a once a year treat .

A peaceful, beautiful place to stay with a partner, the cottage is the perfect size for a few days stay, it has a cosy living room with a electric fireplace, a nice kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The cottage is just round the corner from the beach, the location is perfect for everything you could want in Cromer. The building is located infront of a pub, the pub had karaoke nights every night we stayed which is good if you are into that thing, but it does make it hard to sleep if you want an early night, it was very noisy till around 12am.

A small cottage, centrally located, clean and well equipped. Parking is difficult and is at least 200m distant to street parking. The stairs are steep and probably would not suit anyone with mobility or balance issues. The Albion pub 50m away is unnecessarily LOUD in the evening.

The cottage was lovely, clean and had everything we needed. TV with BBC iplayer was very useful for us. Wouldn't change anything and would stay there again if we were in the area. Thanks!

This was a lovely, comfortable cottage which was in a great location for shops, bars, and restaurants and the Pier was only about 5 minutes away. The Cottage was well-equipped and furnished. All the on-street parking was usually taken so we parked at Cadogan Road car park at £34 for a week. The Albion Pub at the end of the Street could get a little noisy at the weekend, but it didn’t bother us. Can’t really think of any negatives apart from the musty smell that seemed to come from behind the crockery cupboard in the Kitchen. Would recommend The Kings Head for Sunday Lunch and Mary Ann’s for the best Fish and Chips we’ve tasted in ages. For Breakfast, we sat on the balcony overlooking the sea at the Rocket House (above the life boat museum) which was superb. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay on our very first visit to Cromer, we would definitely return.

We loved where the cottage was, but with this location came the problem of parking. Over the 3 days, this was quite a lot of additional cost. Everything else about our stay was great, we even enjoyed listening to the Karaoke in the bar close by!

Perfect for a few days break near the sea. The cottage is small but has everything you might need, and is just a few minutes walk from the coast. Cromer town centre is round the corner, we had a lovely stay.

Cozy, clean cottage with welcoming compliments of tea, coffee and biscuits which was a nice touch. Wi-fi and TV worked well with a good choice of channels and everything you should need for a short stay. Lovely king sized bed and decent black out curtains. Well located position for shops and the beach, only hampered by loud music from the local pub and a constant stream of people walking past, but this was in the busy school holidays. Stairs need to be carefully considered, as stated on Airbnb, as they are very narrow and steep although there is a handrail. Also, there is a door which closes near the bottom of the stairs and gives the impression that when it is opened, you are walking on to the floor of the lounge. This is not so, there is one more step which can easily be missed so please take care!

This place is just perfect for a little seaside getaway in Cromer just a skip away from the beach/pier. It was clean and felt homely and cosy. Getting in was so easy and didn’t require any handover with the host which made planning our arrival stress-free. The host was responsive and accommodating and we are so grateful to find such a cute place stay. We’ll come again!

Lovely little cottage. Bit noisy at weekend, but that's the quid pro quo for being so central. Suggest just using the public car parks - not too expensive - rather than trying to find on-street parking.

We loved staying at the cottage It was very central, 2 minutes from the beach and centre of Cromer. Cottage was a clean and calm, kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and some tupperware lunchboxes for day trips! would definitely stay here again We don’t drive so it was incredibly helpful that the cottage was around the corner from a bus stop, bus station and a few minutes walk from the train station. This meant we were able to get there easily and explore the coast during our stay

Great location to be 5 mins walk from the beach, cottage was lovely and clean and homely touches with the shortbread biscuits! I was staying for 3 nights on my own and planned a relaxing weekend away. The noise from the pub at the end of the road was too loud, couldn’t hear the TV and loud music past midnight on Fri, Sat and Sunday meant I had disturbed sleep. Cottage is great but due to location isn’t ideal for the noise, if you are happy with being up late and going out most nights this place is ideal. Cromer is a lovely place and definitely worth a visit though.

We had a great stay at the shoemakers cottage. Excellent location near the seafront and everything else going on in Cromer. The cottage had everything we needed, though compact, and was comfy and cosy. We enjoyed going to the Red Lion (1 min walk away) for a nightcap, looking out at the sea and the lights of ships passing. It was a nice, relaxing spot. Agree some may want to know that you can hear noise from the Albion pub in the cottage, including the bedroom (at least over the weekend, we stayed Thurs-Tues and it was quiet on Monday night). But it didn't bother us and they were just jovial karaoke sounds, at least! We also found free parking spots in the locations suggested by Craig and co (and once on Cadogan Street), so not far away.

This is a great little location, so close to get down to the esplande and beach. Cottage was clean and easy to get into using the keypad. Although there was no parking, and street parking was not guaranteed , we parked in the Meadow Road Car park, which cost £28 for the week. It wasn't an issue for us, but I am sure if you looked around you could find some on-street parking. Would recommend The Red Lion for a meal, The Kings Head for Sunday Lunch, the Rocket House Cafe for breakfast. The Red Lion for good Real Ale, or the Gangway for Craft beer, and the North Sea Coffee Company for coffee and lovely cakes. Loads of other cafes and places to eat. Railway station easy to get to, we took the train to Sherringham and the other way to Norwich (nice new clean trains). We will be back, and will definitely try to get this property again

Nice little cottage ideally suited in the east end of Cromer. Just a stones throw away from the beach, coffee, two pubs, a couple of bakeries, you’ve got everything you need literally on your doorstep. Comfy bed and couch, the electric fire making it even more cosy. Will consider booking again.

The cottage is what we expected, clean and tidy, well equipped and a fantastic location in the centre of the town. The only downside the sofa was well past it’s best and very low and uncomfortable. The cottage is placed in the middle of a street with a pub at each end so there was some noise in the evenings, especially on karaoke night (Wednesday). It didn’t really bother us and it wouldn’t stop us from coming back again. The pubs in general have a good selection of real ale and food. We would recommend the Garden Street Grill for a good meal at a reasonable price.

A lovely little cottage in a very central location in Cromer. Perfect for the beach and accessing all the restaurants and attractions the town has to offer. It was a perfect base for us for a week exploring north Norfolk. I would definitely recommend! The pub opposite the cottage is can be quite noisy but closes at 11pm so isn't too much of an issue. It was spotless and the check-in went very smoothly.

Great little cottage, perfect for a solo traveller or a couple’s getaway. The bed was comfy and the living room space is cosy. Really convenient location, right in the centre of Cromer and two minutes to the sea. Like other guests though, we did find the noise from The Albion pub incredibly annoying. Music, singing and loud voices carried on until late at night on the Saturday and Sunday we stayed. So not an ideal spot for an early night.

Such a beautiful cottage in a great central location, walking distance to everything you need. Very clean and cosy, if it gets cold there's a throw in the draw of the wardrobe! If there's no parking to drop off suitcases park in front of the red lion and do a quick drop off, so much easier! Overall a lovely stay in a cosy cottage!

The property is in a good location, on a back road. It's opposite a loud pub with live music, but once closed (11pm), we found it very quiet. The facilities were great, checkin was simple - the door is secured with a pin, so there's no need to wait around for a host to give the keys, which was handy. There is a musky smell in the property downstairs though. It hits you as you walk in and makes being downstairs quite uncomfortable. It smells like someone has been smoking in there and the smoke has found its way into the fabrics. I would still recommend the property, but suggest the owners investigate the smell (something that I am sure can easily be resolved). Once the smell is resolved, it would be a very lovely stay.

This 2 person, 1 bedroom terraced ex-fisherman's cottage within 2 minutes walk of the sea front is really nice and my wife and I were happy staying there. However Shoemakers Cottage is located close to what is probably the noisiest pub, The Albion in Cromer, so don't expect a peaceful stay if there are sporting events being shown on their mega T V. On the subject of T V's, we could only get BBC1 and BBC2 in the house and while we reported the misfunction to the owner, 5 days later nothing had been done to rectify the fault.

This little Cottage hits all the right spots from its well equipped kitchen and the lovely nice feature pictures, ornaments and other fittings. The cottage is so well placed you are spoilt for both being right beside the main shopping Street and also minutes from the beach and Pier. We went for a drink in the Albion which is literary on your doorstep and was greeted with a lovely smile and nice atmosphere, all be it in these strange times. We also would recommend the Kings Head (another two minutes away) for great food and at a reasonable price. Its been mentioned by many about the parking to this Cottage, yes it is a pain but if you go to the Cadgon Car Park that is suggested which is only a 10 minute walk there are lots of free parking spaces in the surrounding streets, you just have to look. All in all a lovely few days spent in this quaint little Cottage.

We stayed here with our 11 month old and it was the perfect location for the beach with a baby as you can come back and get changed within 10 minutes when they have had enough. There was space for the travel cot in the bedroom and we brought along a highchair seat as there was not one provided. I wouldn't stay here with older children but I thought it was great for a holiday with a baby. The location is great, however the pub across the road is a bit noisy at night, especially around 9/10pm! I don't think this was a deal breaker for us and wouldn't stop us staying again but it's worth noting if you like it really quiet. Great value for money and would stay again!

We were in Shoemakers cottage for 3 nights and had a brilliant stay. The host communicated quickly, there was an information pack and some lovely thoughtful touches. We found it particularly useful that they provided a travel cot. Check in and out was very quick. The place itself was sparkling clean and in an amazing location a few minutes walk from the sea. I would definitely stay again

Shoemakers Cottage is such a great little place to stay! It's just round the corner from the beach and the high street and opposite the Red Lion pub which is really nice. It's exceptionally handy for everything in Cromer and they left some thoughtful touches (milk, cake, local guides) which made it feel really homely. We loved it! We visited with our small daughter and it's just worth noting that another pub just round the corner seems to have a noisy karaoke night every night; it was hilarious to listen to, it always finished by 10pm and didn't bother us from a sleep point of view at all, but it might do if a tired baby was sensitive to noise. Overall, we will definitely rebook, it was brilliant.

Support from the agent was also superb as we managed to lock ourselves out and they were quick to respond. Highly recommended on all counts!

Lovely little cottage bang in middle of Cromer. Great for two people. Kitchen had everything needed for self catering. Good bathroom. Very short walk to beach/pier and Red Lion pub which was great for food and drink. Nice deli and bakery within two minutes walk. We liked Huckleberries for coffee and cake. The Co-op walking distance also. Parking is fine. Recommend Cadogan Road Pay & Display until you find a free local space. If you are organised you can pull up outside the cottage, throw your stuff in the cottage and shoot off to park.

Lovely place to stay in the centre of Cromer. Beautiful cottage kept immaculately clean. Nice touches by the host on arrival with all necessary amenities for a self catering break. We parked in the car park for ease as you can pay for up to 72 hours in one go. There is music in the pub opposite over the weekend which you can hear inside the cottage, but we decided to go and join them and found a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.

Lovely little cottage very close to the sea and right in the centre of Cromer, with easy access to restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the beach and pier. It's very small but perfectly formed for a couple. The stairs are quite steep and narrow so require a bit of care. The wi-fi dropped out sometimes and we had a few problems working the heaters in the property (some chilly evenings during our stay). I'd also mention - and these are obviously beyond the host's control - that parking in Cromer is a pain and the pub at one end of Brook St (the Albion) was rowdy some evenings. Conversely, the Red Lion at the other end comes highly recommended for food, drinks and views.
