The airbnb is in a great location close to the train station. We parked at the station and it was only £20 for 3 days. Before arrival we had asked for the sofa bed to be made up - this had not been done. The sofa bed was also not comfy to sit on, let alone sleep on. The broken blind in the small bedroom has been mentioned in reviews back since June. This had still not been fixed, so we ended up having to stick bin bags over the window as it was so bright. 4 months to get a blind fixed see a bit excessive. There was a dirty towel left folded up as a clean towel for us to use - luckily we found more towels under the main bedroom bed. No trays were available to cook food on for the oven. Minor issues that can be easily fixed if a bit of time and care would go into the property. Other than that, we had a really nice stay and the hosts were very quick to respond to messages.

Similar to other reviews the location of the apartment is great, very close to the station. Generally the flat was tidy but there were numerous stains on the carpet and bathroom floor. Read previous reviews noting that the blind in the spare room was broken - there was no blind during our stay so was a bright awakening for my friend each morning. The communal hallway light didn’t work so had to use phone lights during the evening getting up/down the stairs. The windows in the living room and double bedroom didn’t stay open and although 2 fans were provided they were not powerful enough so it got very warm. I would say for 4 adults it was a bit of a squeeze but we were only there for 2 nights. Also found the sofa bed quite uncomfortable. The whole place does need a bit of a spruce up but it was good value for money so you get what you pay for.

The flat is in a great location, close to the station and town, but there were several issues during our stay. I stayed here with 3 friends for 2nights, and while the space works for a short visit, it's not ideal for four people. The sofa bed is small, if you’re taller than 5’5 you’ll struggle, and there isn’t much room if you plan to cook. We also had some communication issues with the host. We requested a 4th towel upon arrival and were promised one, but it never showed up. The small bedroom had no blind, making it difficult to sleep, and despite the host saying they’d fix it, nothing was done. After reading recent reviews, it seems this issue has been ignored for weeks. The cleanliness was also lacking, with stains, dirt and hair visible on the carpet. Finally, only one window could be opened, and the master bedroom window couldn’t stay open without a latch. Overall, the flat has great potential, but it needs more care and attention to make it a better experience.

We arrived about an hour after the earliest check-in time to find no key in the key safe. Waited 10 minutes on the phone to get through to someone who quickly cut the call. After a 30 minute wait in the phone queue the door opened up and a cleaner (with our key) emerged saying that we had been told check in would be late (we hadn't) and that the bed linen would be sorted 'later'. Inside the place was OK except for: not cleaned well (dust and grime in places), broken blind in the small bedroom (daughter woken at 6am by the sun every day), stuff missing from the kitchen (an oven with no baking sheet or oven glove), windows that either wont open or wont stay open and a sofa that is beyond uncomfortable. We reported the broken blind as soon as we arrived and were told it would be fixed - it wasn't. The bed linen did arrive shortly after we did but we had an awkward wait while the guy fitted it. The location of this place is excellent, the management, however, isn't.

enjoyed my stay here with 3 friends as proximity to town centre/train station was perfect but…. The sofa bed was not comfy to sit on so i wouldn’t rely on that as a forth bed There was a lot of dust in the property which i believe is due to inadequate ventilation system in the home or the filters needing to be replaced in the currently ventilation in the bathroom. When we arrived the bath panel was off which was strange. The toilet also stopped working on the last day which was concerning but luckily it was our check out day as the number we phoned said they no longer worked for the company anymore, again strange. Overall, it’s risky to have something such as that happen and not have a reliable emergency contractor be able to visit so we wouldn’t stay again

We had a great few days in Brighton at Dale's place. The flat was clean, cozy and convenient. It’s in a really good location, close to the station, the north Lanes and the seafront, with plenty of local shops nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This flat is in a great location albeit up a steep hill (forewarning!). Small but perfectly fine for a long weekend, although I would think a squeeze for 4 people. Sofa bed was not terribly comfy to sit on, so I’d be hesitant to sleep on it. Main concern was that the flat did not feel very clean and there was a few stains, as well as the bath panel was falling off. Could definitely benefit from a bit of a face lift, but appreciate that value for money wise this was a sufficient stay. Thank you for having us.

A really lovely budget stay in Brighton, exactly what you need 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed, smart kitchen and a bathroom. Easy walking distance to and from the train station and the complimentary luggage drop off at the office in town nearby - also the deals that come with the property is a massive plus! Great for nipping to the Laines and beach! We had a lovely FREE treatment at the Beach Box Sauna and Plunge thanks to these girls!

2 night stay overall satisfactory, space to take meals a little narrow for 4 guests. The seagulls are noisy, provide earplugs if you have a light sleep! Good quality mattress except the sofa. location close to all amenities on foot, 5 min from the train station, apartment located on the 2nd floor without elevator.

Great air bnb. Excellently located with distance to station and all the area has to offer. Owner was super responsive and provided very clear instruction with check in and out - the local storage before and after check out was super useful! The host is great. The property left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, the shower was very dirty. After trying to use the shower, the drain backed up almost instantly, and debris (mostly hair) came up from the drain. I contacted the host and they sent someone out to deal with the issue, which they mostly did. They fixed the issue of hair coming up from the drain, but the shower still backed up. Probably an issue with the plumbing in the flat. We found out that we were missing 3 bowls, 3 spoons, and a duvet cover. I messaged the host about this and they replied quickly and replaced them promptly. Finally, the flat is absolutely not suited for 4 people for longer than 2 or 3 days. The fridge is tiny, the saucepan and frying pan is also tiny and clearly not for 4 people. Nevertheless, the property is in a great place, right next to the train station, and a short walk to the beach. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a stay in Brighton for a couple nights.

Its hot spot location in Brighton just outside the station. Convenient to travel in train or bus to anywhere. Stay is nice and compatible for a family. As its in 2nd floor difficult to carry the luggage if its heavy. I had a issue with the key & lock on day 1 then I found the trick.

The flat is very conveniently located, a 5 minute walk to the train station and a 10/15 minute walk to Churchill shopping centre. The neighbourhood of Seven Dials is just up the road, with independent cafés and shops and 2 Co-op supermarkets. The flat itself is modernly decorated and light. The bathroom is clean and modern. White bedlinen and towels are provided. Overall a good stay, but the only thing I'd mention is that it would be difficult for anybody with mobility issues, as it's located up a very steep hill, there are 2 flights of stairs to get to the flat and there is a bath/shower. Thank you to Jessica at Airhost for You who very efficiently replied immediately to my queries which was very reassuring.

Me and my friends came to Brighton for a weekend away and this place was what we were looking for. Somewhere that’s nice and peaceful but still pretty near to all the attractions. The host was very responsive and instructions were clear and easy, the check in was smooth and no problems there whatsoever. The place was clean and was good value for money and nice and close to the station (although a great big hill to walk up!) Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Brighton for a weekend away or whatnot.

Flat is well located close to the station and the Laines. We used it to sleep in only as it was so tiny (much smaller than it seems in the photos!) The sofa is tiny and super uncomfortable even to sit on so wouldn’t recommend anyone using it as a sofa bed! We were there for the Great Escape and not in it much so the location suited us really well. Host was very responsive when we had problems and they have an office to store luggage before/ after check in about 10mins away which was great. Beware of the very steep hill up to the flat which is a bit of a workout if you have luggage!

Lovely little apartment close to so many amenities. Train station is a 5 minute walk, probably about 20 minutes to the sea front. 15 minute walk to Brighton theatre royal. Single bed wasn’t the comfiest or thickest mattress going. That was the only thing that let it down.

A fabulously located flat just a stones throw from everything you’d want to see and do in Brighton! But in need of some TLC! Set on a peaceful residential street but easy to get to the hustle and bustle. A shame this place is let down by grubby and chipped paint, a lack of basic essentials in the kitchen (nowhere to dry dishes, lack of cooking equipment, dirty tea-towel, dirty mop and bucket), strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout (all the smoke/fire detectors had been covered with clingfilm or condoms! 🤢), dust and stains behind furniture in all rooms. The beds were ok but the pillows were so cheap and thin it was like sleeping on a pillow case, while the linen provided was perfectly clean, they also had a faint smell of cigarette smoke and were of a poor quality I’d expect to find in a low-cost hotel. Had this property been cheaper, based on its location it’d be a very good deal, but there are far cheaper places to stay locally if you’re looking for cleanliness and quality!

Very well located, bright , pleasant and tastefully decorated apartment. The kitchen is very well-equipped but , with three people, we are a bit cramped in the dining area. Everything perfectly matches the listing and the availability of the host is remarkable. The only negative point is the high amount paid for cleaning while it is done summarily.

The location is perfect, very near to train station, tesco express/Sainsbury's local, and brighton town. if you are thinking of staying more than a week though (we stayed for 3 weeks), the place can be a bit small for a family of 4 like us. the mini fridge is also a bit of a hassle. as advertised by the property, free parking is not available. and parking is a big issue in brighton town, the nearby parkings are only for residents with permit. so, if u want to rent a car to go out of brighton town, you can only return to the accommodation after 8pm mon-sat. sunday is the only day parking is allowed. you need to plan this out accordingly. parking officers are very diligent & chances of getting parking ticket is very high if you do not abide by the rules. overall, the place is amazing and beautiful as advertised with all published amenities. looking forward to coming back to brighton.

I would recommend staying here for two to 3 people. Nice light and airy. Windows do open but need to wedge a pillow or something to keep open, its a warm flat. Great shower nice and hot. Beds were comfy for us. idea place to stay for a few days. We parked our car out of the zones and walked everywhere. I would stay here again.

Clean and tidy and in a great location for not a bad price. What more could you ask for? Great. Main area very small but if you’re not in much that’s fine! There are 4 chairs so you can make it work if you want to eat at home. The only faults for us were the front door didn’t lock (not good with kids) and the bathroom had 2 doors and only 1 locked.

Great location and prices. Lovely decoration and the host is reactive. The rooms were clean when we arrived and the flat was well-equipped. The flat does not have a lift so it will be slightly inconvenient to bring your suitcases up to the flat. Also, the freezer in the fridge was not cold enough and could not be fully shut, we bought ice cream and they were melted unfortunately :( Overall would recommend staying here with the reasonable price and convenient location :)

We had a lovely stay in Brighton. We were looking for a place that accepted dogs and was also close to the station and things to do around town, and this flat was in a great location! The Airhost shop was also easy to find and they let us keep our bags there even after check out. The flat was cosy (if a bit tight for 3 people and the bed takes up most of the side of the room in the master bedroom) and had everything you'd need for a short stay. We had a slight issue with a 20 minute delay in check in (the cleaner hadn't finished and the keys were not in the box) but Airhost replied promptly and we didn't have any further issues. Thanks again for a great holiday weekend!

Actually a quiet, cleverly furnished, bright, well equipped, at first sight clean and cute flat in a super location, BUT when you enter the house and find a totally dirty staircase, when 2 of the 3 windows are not allowed to be opened, then you can imagine how quickly it gets stuffy in the flat, if you first have to study to start the heating and boiler, you're not exactly thrilled when you want to take a shower in the morning, when the radiator in the master bedroom cannot be regulated down and it is far too warm for a bedroom (and you're not allowed to open the window), when you see dust everywhere on the bathroom fan and on all the lampshades, or step on carpets that urgently need washing, you wonder why you have to pay over 100 euros for cleaning, then the rent for this flat is not justified and then you answer the question "Would you like to stay again?" with "I'm not really sure!"

A few issues, but overall was fine for a weekend. Blind in single bedroom was broken - reported issue but unable to fix same day so told them not to bother as would have been inconvenient for us. Buzzer didn’t work - a bit of a pain given only one set of keys is provided. Again reported the issue, and can see from previous reviews it was also reported in October 2022 but has not been dealt with. One of the towels provided was very dirty, didn’t bother reporting as spares were available within the flat but was not particularly pleased as I hadn’t noticed until I had actually used the dirty towel. General cleanliness was not terrible but would describe as below par, lots of hairs on sofa and cushions, toilet had not been cleaned properly. Sofa was very uncomfortable. Water pressure in the shower poor. Loud music playing late evening in another flat, reported but no response until the following morning and probably nothing they could do about it anyway. Generally location is good though.

The company that manages this house is 10. They treated us wonderfully, they were very attentive. Willing to help at all times. The house is not bad, small but functional. A 3’ walk to the train station and 10’ to the heart of Brighton. Sheets, towels and toilet quite clean. The yellow carpet in the driveway could be cleaner. And the carpet of the common areas as well. It's the only one, but I'll give it.

We had a very good stay in Brighton, the flat is located very centrally and conveniently. The host (an agency) was very prompt in responding to any query and we didn’t have any issue with check-in or check out. However, the space is really tiny, there is very little storage and no hooks around to store your stuff comfortably (like towels or coats). Although we had a good stay, I would probably not use this flat again because the space is just too small for comfort.

A nice enough flat in a central location close to the station. Don’t bring a car - parking is very limited and expensive. I chose this property because they accept dogs. Although communication (with Jessica) was good in terms of speed of response, she failed to resolve the issues I raised. Prior to arriving, I requested 2 sets of keys as we were a group of 3 adults. I was told this wasn’t possible - it was unclear why. I asked again when we arrived and saw the set-up. Sharing the keys meant going up to the second floor flat, leaving the door open then going back to the street to leave the keys in the lock box - you need a torch at night to see the code panel. Also, the buzzer doesn’t work so we needed to phone one another to gain entry on other occasions . Previous guests have made the same request about keys. On arrival, there was no duvet cover on the single bed - I reported this clearly and a single sheet (not duvet cover) was delivered the following day. The toilet seat is loose and only the window in the small bedroom opens - this is mentioned in the property description but needs sorting as the flat gets quite stuffy even at this time of year. There are fans but they aren’t the solution. The £95 cleaning fee is excessive and can’t be justified. We enjoyed our stay in Brighton using the flat as a base but would not stay at this property again; I will only rent from individual hosts in future as property companies don’t provide a personal service or show the same level of care for properties (eg windows, toilet seat and keys). When a guest makes a reasonable request (for a second set of keys!), the host should comply! I speak as an experienced individual AirBnB host.

Great location with great views. Kitchen was well equipped but the oven was not working when I arrived. When I also used the washing machine (but was later fixed), it flooded the flat and I had to use all the towels to stop the water flow- these towels were not replaced with clean ones despite me asking. The blinds also broke while I was there. Overall, the flat is nice superficially but it is clear that corners are cut in quality of hosting and furnishing. Would recommend for a short stay.

Beautiful little apartment, very conveniently located near the train station. It had everything we needed for our short holiday. There is a small convenience store right next door, very useful for a self catering stay. Will not hide that the heavy sash windows need fixing as they do not stay open. In a small appartment, in hot weather this is a problem. We wedged the windows open and Airhost provided us with ventilators which was helpful. Very good communication with the host.

This was a cute little place to stay in Brighton! I would say it's pretty cramped if you're more than 2 people, definitely if you want to spend any time in the apartment besides just sleeping. If you have any accessibility concerns, important to know its up a pretty steep hill! All of that said, it's a sweet place, super close to the train station and a pretty short walk into town. Was glad to spend a few days with friends here.

A bright and cozy apartment very central close to train station Positive that there was a grocery store right next door. Great dialogue with host. Some noise due to the fact that there were garbage containers just outside the main entrance, which among other things attracted seagulls.

This is a nice two bedroom flat in a location that’s very close to the train station. Close to many pubs, and also relatively close to the lanes and Churchill Square. The apartment was impeccable and was handed to us with 4 star hotel-grade amenities like nice towels and hot drinks. The only detail we found for us was that the check in time is too late (4pm) in comparison to a hotel, which is normally between 12pm and 2pm; that made us change our plans to arrive to Brighton to a later time in the day, since we were not allowed to put our suitcases in the flat and head out for a stroll. However, the staff was adamant to tell us they can only help with check in related stuff until 8pm. So, if you need help to get into the flat, it’s either on their time or no help in our experience. But taking this detail aside, we didn’t have any problems entering the flat at all on the night we arrived, instructions were very detailed and communication was fluent. Great stay.

Good place, nice complimentary tea, coffee, and small things that make the stay better and feel like home away from home. Neighbours were noisy in the early hours but that’s expected once business hours start I guess. Good stay overall

A great apartment in a very good location. Check in and communication was great and really easy! The only downside is that it's an old building and it was hot when we stayed - so the apartment was sweltering, especially the single room! There is also not adequate blinds if light bothers you - up at 4am with the sun!

On the good side: - It is in a convenient, if hilly, location. - The beds are comfortable. The wifi works well. - Airhost replied promptly to my messages during office hours. - It is nicely decorated (although the plastic plants won’t be to everyone's taste). On the less good good side: - We were only given one set of keys (we wanted a set each). - The flat is small. In particular, in the double bedroom there is only just enough room to get to the far side of the bed. - The soundproofing between rooms, and with the flat upstairs is not great. - The door from the bathroom to the master bedroom does not have a lock. (The other door, to the hall, does have a lock.)

Very nice, clean and well equipped flat conveniently located close to Brighton station and the Seven Dials area with its shops and restaurants. The flat itself is in a very quiet street off the main road. Would recommend for a stay in Brighton.

The apartment was very nice and close to all amenities. It's located at 5-10 min walk from the train station, just be prepared for a steep hill up, short but hard. Be warned, no lift to the flat! I guess its a welcome to Brighton city.. Everything was clean and modern, just as advertised. But it had everything we needed for a few days in Brighton. The agency is excellent, we contacted them and they were very accommodating and flexible. Great place overall.

This is a great, central, little modern flat well equipped and very clean. Perfect for a City Break for 1 or 2 adults. It is light, bright and comfortable- I would happily return and use this as a base for seeing family and friends nearby, with my own space to retreat to and recharge. Highly recommended and the host is an excellent communicator.
