The space
Welcome to Good Vibes, a beautifully designed and centrally located two-bedroom apartment, just a short walk from Brighton train station. Set on the first floor, this bright, contemporary space is perfect for friends, family, business, or leisure stays. Thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a short or extended stay, it’s a cosy, bijoux retreat in the heart of Brighton.

The location couldn’t be better – from here, you can easily explore all that Brighton has to offer. Take a short stroll to North Laine for independent cafes and unique shops, head to Churchill Square for high street shopping, or enjoy the South Lanes for an array of cafes, restaurants, and pubs. The beach, Brighton Pier, and the i360 are all within reach, as well as the vibrant Seven Dials area, home to the popular Flour Pot Bakery and Small Batch Coffee House.

Inside, the apartment is filled with character and good vibes. The living room is a cheerful, inviting space with bright colors, funky cushions, quirky art, and a plush velvet sofa that doubles as a sofa bed for an extra guest. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for cooking, with plenty of crockery, cookware, and glassware, plus a microwave, oven, hob, and fridge. A washing machine is neatly stored in the hallway cupboard, and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and cooking basics are on hand.

The dining area next to the kitchen provides a lovely spot for a leisurely brunch or coffee. The master bedroom, featuring a double bed and calming decor, offers a peaceful retreat with wall-mounted reading lights. The bathroom, accessible from both the master bedroom and the hallway, can serve as an en-suite or family bathroom, providing flexibility and privacy.

Great location by Brighton train station and within walking distance of The Lanes. Small but nice and clean apartment!

The airbnb is in a great location close to the train station. We parked at the station and it was only £20 for 3 days. Before arrival we had asked for the sofa bed to be made up - this had not been done. The sofa bed was also not comfy to sit on, let alone sleep on. The broken blind in the small bedroom has been mentioned in reviews back since June. This had still not been fixed, so we ended up having to stick bin bags over the window as it was so bright. 4 months to get a blind fixed see a bit excessive. There was a dirty towel left folded up as a clean towel for us to use - luckily we found more towels under the main bedroom bed. No trays were available to cook food on for the oven. Minor issues that can be easily fixed if a bit of time and care would go into the property. Other than that, we had a really nice stay and the hosts were very quick to respond to messages.

Similar to other reviews the location of the apartment is great, very close to the station. Generally the flat was tidy but there were numerous stains on the carpet and bathroom floor. Read previous reviews noting that the blind in the spare room was broken - there was no blind during our stay so was a bright awakening for my friend each morning. The communal hallway light didn’t work so had to use phone lights during the evening getting up/down the stairs. The windows in the living room and double bedroom didn’t stay open and although 2 fans were provided they were not powerful enough so it got very warm. I would say for 4 adults it was a bit of a squeeze but we were only there for 2 nights. Also found the sofa bed quite uncomfortable. The whole place does need a bit of a spruce up but it was good value for money so you get what you pay for.

The flat is in a great location, close to the station and town, but there were several issues during our stay. I stayed here with 3 friends for 2nights, and while the space works for a short visit, it's not ideal for four people. The sofa bed is small, if you’re taller than 5’5 you’ll struggle, and there isn’t much room if you plan to cook. We also had some communication issues with the host. We requested a 4th towel upon arrival and were promised one, but it never showed up. The small bedroom had no blind, making it difficult to sleep, and despite the host saying they’d fix it, nothing was done. After reading recent reviews, it seems this issue has been ignored for weeks. The cleanliness was also lacking, with stains, dirt and hair visible on the carpet. Finally, only one window could be opened, and the master bedroom window couldn’t stay open without a latch. Overall, the flat has great potential, but it needs more care and attention to make it a better experience.

Property Manager Terms
