The apartment is very well located. As a result, you can hear life on the street at night, which did not disturb me. There is plenty of space in the apartment and from the dining table you can look at the sea and watch the hustle and bustle on the street. This airbnb is close to the train station, pier, and has a lively vibe in its surroundings. But, as promised, the hosts were not available for early check-in of our luggages. Nor called or messaged to inform. We had such an ordeal/struggle. The stairs to the 2nd floor are too narrow to go up with your bags. As hosts, they haven't checked the condition of their place, the shower dial doesn't work, and when opened, just pours steaming hot water. I had to email as they don't pick our calls. After emailing a few times the plumber showed up, what repair he did, no idea, next day while taking a shower, in the midst of my shower, there was a click and steaming hot water poured on me, I quickly jumped away. If for anyone else, would have easily sued them. If the hosts are responsive and responsible, then just for the lively surrounding one can think of renting this place if they don't get any good options. I hate to give bad reviews, but really unhappy with what we had to go through.

Although host was very responsive. We reported many issues as we checked in and although someone came to look when we were out they were not fixed. 1. Large hole in walls. 2. Photos are old as furniture tired. 3. Bed frame may be king as described but mattress not. 4. Bed slacks loose. TV reception very bad. 5. Heater hanging off wall and placed on top of a fan stand. 6. Uneven flooring throughout and slopes into the middle of rooms. 7. Shower dangerously hot and can not get cold or comfortable temperature, Either hot or scalding. Not worth £275.

Loved our stay here. We had everything we needed. The place was well equipped and perfect for three people. The host was responsive and provided us with a lot of information about the place. Everything is walking distance to the restaurants, shops to tourist attractions. The place is busy and noisy but we didn’t mind it as it’s located very close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Although the access to the flat suprised me, being though multiple doors in between buildings - the flat itself is wonderful! It’s open and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a great view outside of the window to gaze over at breakfast. Very comfortable and beautiful!

Lovely and cozy place in a dynamic part of town. Having breakfast by the window with seaview is amazing. I was a bit worried about the noise but during my stay (weekdays + friday night) it wasn't noisy at all, just standard street level background noise. Some points of improvement: Underneath the bed and behind the headboard could use a bit more tidying as it was quite dusty. The kitchen was decently well equipped, but some items are ripe for replacement (pans...). A knife sharpener would also be nice. All in all, I'm very satisfied with my stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Positives: Clean and decorated nicely Smart TV has freeview. Kitchen is well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The location is great. Right in the centre. You can see the sea from the window. Shampoo/body wash and conditioner was provided. There is are news agents, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars right on the doorstep. Host was incredibly responsive and friendly. Negatives: The wet room shower does not drain fast enough so it floods the floor out into the hallway. The shower temperature handle is too stiff; so the shower was stuck way too hot. The radiator in the living room made a loud clanking noise. We had to keep it off as we couldn’t sleep. No pods were provided for the Tassimo machine. There is no storage provided other than one rail. The batteries in the smart door lock were dying, resulting in issues getting into the apartment. The out of hours service was quick to arrive and help. The batteries in the remote were also dead so we had to buy more

A great hidden gem for a place to stay in Brighton, the only bad thing I'd say about the property is the noise but understandably you're gonna have that in the area with the clubs and bars being a few doors up, and across the street. The windows aren't soundproof so even with them closed you hear people's conversations on the streets below, and buses but that's not a fault of the property at all - it was very easy to sleep with that though because the beds were so comfy!! The view from the window alone is STUNNING!! And I sat at the window watching the sea for longer than I want to admit - you can see the i360 from the window too, the pier is right ahead and so is the seafront / attractions, a stones throw from the lanes plenty of really nice cafes and coffee shops - would strongly recommend Brighton Grill (opposite), Granny's Cafe (Next to Lucy and yak in the lanes), and my coffee story (a few doors up the street). A fab first stay, huge shoutout to Tim for making it one to remember!!

Very happy with the accommodation, was a little noisy outside late at night but absolutely expected due to its location so wasn’t too bothered. Easy to find, secure, lots of food and a Morrisons within 2 minutes walk. Host was patient when we woke up late to leave the property. Much appreciated, will definitely consider going back.

Very dirty entrance from the street smelling pee day and night. Not so safe for individuals coming back alone at night, neither for individuals with any kind mobility difficulty (very narrow entrance with metal barriers). The floor was uneven and dust was accumulated under the bed. Not vacuum cleaned in long time. Host failed to provide us with a vacuum cleaner during the two weeks of stay. A lot of noise from the street at night. Flat much more cramped than displayed in photos.

The Airhost team was very friendly and responsive in our communication. We used the free concierge offered in their premises located 15 minutes walk from the apartment, and in direct proximity to the train station. The team was also very accommodating to postpone check-in and check-out times. The apartment is nice. Only small downside for those who are sensitive to noise, the soundproofing of the windows that lets through street noise.

Lovely place and location, however when I sent a message about the shower not draining properly I was advised this would be resolved, but it wasn’t. We had to keep turning the shower on and off whilst in the shower to let the water not leave the bathroom due to drainage issues. In regards to the cutlery/plates/pans etc these all needed to be cleaned prior to use, which is questionable due to there being a cleaning fee

Although we found the property a little difficult to find and the alleyway leading to the property lacking in lighting (phone mobile torch required) the property is in an excellent location and was all as advertised. We would not hesitate in using this property in the future.

Instructions on entering the flat are not clear. It says to 'wave you hand' over the lock pad, but what you need to do is place you hand on the lock pad. A lot of noise, not just from outside, but the below and above apartments. We had a terrible night sleep both nights as they are out partying and awake all night. The flat itself was ok, apart from the hairs in the shower and that it doesn't drain properly so you have to keep turning off the shower as you are washing yourself mid-way through otherwise it will flood through to the hallway. We had to use a towel to stop the water overflowing Unfortunately, I would not stay there again

The apartment was clean, clutter free, and had a nice view. Wifi was solid and it was a great space to work in. The apartment is walking distance from a lot of attractions and great restaurants. The neighborhood is a bit more rugged than I would have hoped for. There's a lot of partying in the streets into the late hours and the issues that come with that. The neighborhood is fine for young adults but I would not recommend it for families with young children.

Very beautiful flat, walking distance from the city centre and beach. Very private and perfect if you are staying alone. The only thing I would note is that it is a little loud at night and you can hear what is happening on the streets below but otherwise a really lovely and clean place and I enjoyed my stay very much. The host communicated everything very well and made finding the home very easy.

The apartment is lovely, in the centre of kemptown , close to everything. The host is very responsive. I did request a fan the day before we arrived due to the heat wave and we were assured this would be delivered. When we arrived the fan was not there, I chased this once or twice however it was never delivered which was a shame. The flat was hot, luckily we had 1 hand held fan to use.. the location is great, thank you

Really clean and lovely apartment. It’s in a great location, the beach is just 5 mins by foot and it was also really easy getting into town. Windows are a bit thin so it might not be ideal for light sleepers as you can hear the noise from the street really clearly. Jessica from air host for you was really kind and helpful and responded to queries quickly. The only real issue we had was with the temperature of the shower - it was extremely hot and wouldn’t get colder. This meant that we weren’t able to have proper showers which was not ideal given that we went to the beach frequently. Was told that the property manager would come to check it out, but this didn’t happen which was a bit disappointing. Other than this, we had a really enjoyable stay and would recommend to anyone coming to Brighton.

Once off the street and in the apartment there is a lovely large bay window that makes the room Look bright and welcoming with a lovely view of the sea and pier… Shower is very warm perhaps needs to be a little cooler if you have children. Kitchen nice size just needs a few more essential items if you want to cook… Can’t fault the accommodation and location- great stay in Brighton as always

The locations is close to The Pier but very noisy and hard to sleep. You have to keep the window closed to lower the noise from all night party from the neighbors on the weekend but there is no A/C so u can imagine how difficult it is to breath, However Airhost is very responsive.

Bright and spacious apartment, centrally located, in a central location with views towards the sea and pier. Very clean and practical furnishings, with no frills and rugs. Entrance with code is easy to use - no key is needed to get lost. Around the apartment there are many cafes and restaurants as well as a supermarket. You are within minutes to the sea. For guests who prefer peace, the apartment or nightlife is a bit noisy. We'd stay at this neighborhood again anytime and book this apartment.

Communication was great between the host and us. The place is a little difficult to find, but the host made sure that finding it was as smooth as possible. We were very surprised when we walked in, the place was clean and welcoming as soon as we walked into the door. The whole apartment felt like home within the space of five minutes. I won't disillusion anyone, it's an apartment in the middle of Brighton centre, very close to the beach. With the bars and pubs nearby, it was noisy, but if you are a heavy sleeper or don't mind the noise until 2AM, then trust me, this will NOT put you off. The host also provided earplugs as well just in case they were required... and they were most certainly used (mostly by me because I am the lightest sleeper of our bunch!) and it most definitely helped, so please, take this with a pinch of salt. It is as it is, it's not the host's fault by any means, but the hosts do their extreme best to make this a non-issue, so I cannot fault them for the noise! I seriously, seriously recommend staying in Pier View if you are looking for a place to stay in Brighton that's close to amenities, the beach, the pier, everything! I most definitely will be looking into staying here again as a viable option next time I come to Brighton! A big, big thank you!

This flat was good for what I needed. The location is right in the heart of Kemptown which is both convenient and easily accessible. I recommend bringing some ear plugs as the noise outside at night from the younger pub crowd can get a little loud. The apartment is just as pictured and very clean. I stayed during a warmer period so the heating was not a problem.

Me and my friends were very much impressed with how nice the apartment is. With multiple passcodes to get in, we felt very safe. It’s quite a good location- Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Superdrug, Starbucks, pubs, coffee shops, and lots of really nice restaurants literally just outside. The Pavilion, the pier, and the high street is also just a few minutes walk- overall we had a very accommodating stay.

Street noise was very audible at times but given the buildings age it was probably to be expected. Will prob book again upon another return to Brighton. Absolutely loved the walkable location!!

We had a lovely stay in Brighton, it is a great location… close to the beach, shops and general buzz. Any problems were rectified and the space is lovely, however as some reviews mentioned the noise from the street, restaurants, bars and the bin collectors and the neighbours screaming/drumming till 4/5am is unbearable… we hardly got any sleep at all and only did when wearing headphones which wasn’t ideal and really disappointing for the cost of the stay. I really hope the owner considers double glazing or soundproofing as it could be awesome.

Please be aware that this isn't really suitable for anyone who has an aversion to dark and dingy alleyways. access to the property is used by local restaurants to access their rubbish bins that are less than 10meters from the entrance. security was not enforced, front door and gate to alleyway where left open twice Best of all there's a drummer living next door! place was very clean, perfect for anyone wanting to experience nightlife not sleep

I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before booking our 2 night stay. As mentioned in other reviews the apartment is lovely, clean and well located. BUT. We only stayed one night of the two because the noise from the street was intolerable - not helped by the open vent in the window, which didn't have a cover. There was also a very loud party happening next door and having not slept at all the first night, we cut our stay early and checked into a hotel. I feel there should be something in the description that forewarn potential guests of the noise. There was some mention of earplugs but there weren't any for our stay. Frankly if you need to provide earplugs, it's an alarm bell that soundproofing is non-existent. If you're using it as a place to rest your head at 4am after a drunken night out, or if you're the kind of person who would sleep through an earthquake then it might be OK. Neither applied to me or my son and we were left sleep deprived and disappointed.

The apartment was excellent and suited to our needs perfectly. Its close proximity to the pier and town centre meant we could reach everything with just a short walk. Had the best week away, was absolutely amazing place to stay. The beach, lanes etc, all a walk away and the Brighton Marina is about a 33 min walk along the beach front. The apartment itself was clean and equipped with everything it said it was. The noise outside was consistent throughout the day and night but that was because it's near the hustle and bustle, and location. Overall so pleased with the apartment, would definitely come again and recommend it to others 😊

Could not have chosen a more amazing place to stay! 5 minute walk to the sea front, pier, restaurant, bars and aquarium. The host gave the information to her into the apartment which was so simple and easy to do. Right near a Morrison’s and boots which was amazingly convenient and the apartment itself was immaculately clean, the kitchen was perfect and the bed and sofa were so comfy. Will definitely be staying again and I recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Brighton, the location couldn’t be more perfect.

Me and my gf had a lovely stay here, it wasn’t as loud as we expected it would be since the Airbnb is in the city, most nights were quiet in the area. Even if it did get loud we were provided with earplugs just incase. We don’t really have any major complaints, but it would’ve been great if there was an AC or even a standing fan, because it was hot that week we stayed and keeping the windows open didn’t do much. Also, the shower was hard to operate. Otherwise, we loved staying here and would stay here again. We had few issues with the front gate, think that may need some fixing, everything else was pretty much 5/5. The area is lovely, you can literally see the sea from the window. The closest grocery store is Morrisons it’s literally a minute walk from the flat. Totally recommend this place.

I feel like I have to write this review to stop anyone like us that planned a family stay in this apartment from booking, as it just simply isn't suitable for MANY reasons. The positives: very central so if you're after that it's good and cleaned to a good standard (although leaving used toiletries in the shower for new check-ins was a big no for us especially in the current covid climate.) The negatives from our experience: the noise was horrendous partying/screaming/shouting until 3 or 4am beware its a v busy street with many bars/restaurants, it's directly above a pizza restaurant and opposite a kebab shop. We hardly slept each night as once the partying died down the bins got collected v early morning and noisy deliveries to the v nearby morrisons supermarket so it just doesn't work with a child (we traveled with our 6yr old) we had to buy eye masks and earplugs on day 2 but the noise was so loud even these couldn't block it out. The window blinds are useless they block zero light so the bedroom is v light come dawn. Lack of storage was a huge problem for us there's a bed, coffee table + table to eat at. That's it not one surface to put anything, no wardrobe or hanging rail, no drawers, no bedside tables so 3 of us had to live out of our cases for the week. There was only 2 chairs at the table so if we ever dined in one of us had to sit on a bed to eat as the sofa bed was made up for sleeping. We'd booked for 3 people so I expected the bedding to be made up for 3, after a 7hr journey + arriving late to have to start putting the quilt cover and pillowcases on was a hassle we didn't need. The drains were blocked when we had the first shower and I got a message back from the owner telling me to buy some drain unblocker + sort it for him... Not what I want to be doing at my cost on day one of my holiday! There was 1 drinking glass in the whole kitchen between us all but this was rectified quickly once reported thankfully. No bottle opener or corkscrew, no sink plug so impossible to wash up. Quite honestly we couldn't wait to get home to not have to charge our phone/tablet/watch on the floor, have a surface to put anything on, a drawer to put clothes in, a rail to hang an item of clothing, not have to dry bath towels on dining chairs and put a plug in a sink to be able to fill it with water! It was an epic fail for us as a family of 3 having a weeks stay but might work for you as a short break if you plan to party and just need a bed for the night and not much else.

Great apartment. Clean, light & airy, also in a great location! The view is lovely & the apartment is in the perfect distance, with everything being just a short walk away. Great host, easy self check in & out. 10/10

Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, very Clean and amazing location. The bed quality was quite poor and the bedroom is in desperate need of some curtains. The blinds aren't great at keeping the light out so the room was super bright at the crack of dawn. Brighton was awesome and this apartment was right in the heart of it all.

We had a lovely stay in Tims flat, the location is incredible with only a 5 minute walk to both the lanes and the beach and with a Morrison's right downstairs. It is quite noisy, as the flat is in a busy area, but earplugs are provided! Would definitely stay here again when returning to Brighton.

Beautifully decorated, amazing location and wonderful communication. Bella Cafe across the road has a lovely full English! You can see the pier from the front window it's that close. Morrisons a few doors away, restaurants and pubs all on the door step. Would love to stay again!

The space was in a very central location. It was easy to get to the main attractions in Brighton, such as the pier, the beach, and the lanes. The apartment came fully furnished with all the amenities we would have wanted such as a smart tv, hairdryer, shampoo. The furnishing looks great and is exactly as advertised. Brighton can get windy and rainy, so that was audible on our second night, but it did not bother us and earplugs were provided for us if we needed. Great place overall, would love to stay again when visiting Brighton.

This flat is amazing, lots of space and very central which is great exept at night when the street zombies come out and start shouting. l heard one guy on 2 nights sounding like he was either being murdered or was murdering someone. The beds very saggy , as with many ABnBs lve stayed in and gave me a bad back as l was there for a week but if your only there 1 or 2 nights you should be ok.

The flat has a lovely feel to it, it is clean and suited me perfectly for my short stay. If you want to be in a lively, bustling area, right next to the beach, it's a good choice. Communication with Jessica was great and she was really helpful throughout. Thank you both!

Tim’s place is really great! Fab location close to the beach and the town centre. Great communication and support finding and accessing the property. The flat is in great condition and has everything you need. I will definitely be back!
