The space
Located on the second floor of a charming Victorian building, Guildford Apartment is a newly decorated one-bedroom space that combines style and comfort for a delightful home-away-from-home experience.

The lounge area is warm and welcoming, with a bay window that fills the room with natural light. It features a sofa-bed suitable for an additional guest, and a fold-out dining table that can comfortably seat up to four for meals. A desk area provides a dedicated workspace if needed, and with free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, the apartment caters perfectly to both relaxation and productivity. An iron, ironing board, and hairdryer are also available.

The bright kitchen is equipped with a modern SMEG toaster and kettle, as well as a microwave and washer/dryer. It’s fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, cookware, and glassware to make cooking a breeze. Essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, and cooking oil are also provided.

Very happy stay in Brighton. The accommodation is pleasant, ideally located near the train station, and well equipped. There are 2 power strips with USB sockets, so you don’t even need to bring your UK plug adapters. Several shops, pubs and restaurants nearby

I was extremely disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this property. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a frustrating and physically uncomfortable experience. Accessibility & Transparency: There is no mention in the listing of the steep hill/slope you must climb to reach the property. This is a major oversight for anyone with luggage or mobility concerns. Safety & Comfort: The heating instructions were non-existent. We spent a miserable, freezing night bordering on hypothermia because we couldn't figure out how to adjust the system to a functional level. Cleanliness: The property was not properly prepared. The bathroom was unclean, and the kitchen kettle still had stagnant water from the previous guest. Maintenance & Noise: Several bedroom lights were broken. Furthermore, the walls are paper-thin; we could hear every sound from the neighbors, making it impossible to rest. Communication: The host was completely unresponsive, ignoring my messages and

Steep hill and lots of stairs not suitable for most retired couples. We managed as location is great. Downstairs unit has a problem with excessive smoking and it leaks to the common areas and some on the unit.

We had a great week. The apartment is functional, comfortable and matches the description on the site. It is very well located: close to the train station, close to shops, not far from the beach. It's just difficult to access the building because the road is sloping and with suitcases, it's not always easy but it's just for the arrival and return... We especially appreciated the quality of communication with our Airbnb contact Charlie, who was always very responsive and friendly, from the beginning to the end of the stay. It's very reassuring, especially when you're travelling abroad! Thank you so much. We recommend this apartment without any problems and we will surely come back in the future!

Please be considerate to As per the listing: no extra guests, no smoking and no parties please, at all times. Any lost keys and keys not returned to correct location will incur a charge. If a guest locks themselves out during their stay and requires assistance there will be a minimum charge of £25. Unless agreed in advance a late check out will incur a fee of £50 per hour. There will be a fine of £50 for smoking indoors. If there is any sign of a pet having stayed at the property either inside or outside, you may be liable for extra charges. Property Manager Terms
