Very happy stay in Brighton. The accommodation is pleasant, ideally located near the train station, and well equipped. There are 2 power strips with USB sockets, so you don’t even need to bring your UK plug adapters. Several shops, pubs and restaurants nearby

I was extremely disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this property. What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a frustrating and physically uncomfortable experience. Accessibility & Transparency: There is no mention in the listing of the steep hill/slope you must climb to reach the property. This is a major oversight for anyone with luggage or mobility concerns. Safety & Comfort: The heating instructions were non-existent. We spent a miserable, freezing night bordering on hypothermia because we couldn't figure out how to adjust the system to a functional level. Cleanliness: The property was not properly prepared. The bathroom was unclean, and the kitchen kettle still had stagnant water from the previous guest. Maintenance & Noise: Several bedroom lights were broken. Furthermore, the walls are paper-thin; we could hear every sound from the neighbors, making it impossible to rest. Communication: The host was completely unresponsive, ignoring my messages and

Steep hill and lots of stairs not suitable for most retired couples. We managed as location is great. Downstairs unit has a problem with excessive smoking and it leaks to the common areas and some on the unit.

We had a great week. The apartment is functional, comfortable and matches the description on the site. It is very well located: close to the train station, close to shops, not far from the beach. It's just difficult to access the building because the road is sloping and with suitcases, it's not always easy but it's just for the arrival and return... We especially appreciated the quality of communication with our Airbnb contact Charlie, who was always very responsive and friendly, from the beginning to the end of the stay. It's very reassuring, especially when you're travelling abroad! Thank you so much. We recommend this apartment without any problems and we will surely come back in the future!

Flat was good size in good location and near train station, bed was comfy and kitchen had necessary cooking equipment. Unfortunately there were a few issues. The smell of old cigarettes from a neighbour was awful and in every space of the flat. It got especially worse at night and meant we had all the windows open all the time even when it was cold. No handwash in bathroom (had to buy some) and lots of damp stains in bedroom with paint peeling off wall. Windows at front barely opened and the smell was unbearable at times. The corridors and communal spaces were very dirty and smelly too. check in was very late compared to other places and they emailed saying check out was an hour earlier than advertised which had to be disputed and was a little stressful.

Me and my friends had a nice time in Brighton this weekend. The apartment was decent place to keep our stuff and sleep. However, there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke from the apartment below that seeped into the bedroom and bathroom of the property. Few superficial imperfections like chipped paint and stained carpets but nothing unclean about the property. Location was great and close to the station and a straightforward walk to the centre.

A centrally located one bedroom flat right near the train station (flat is located up a v steep street, and is on the top floor of the building so not ideal for anyone with accessibility issues!) For us though, the flat itself great… it was clean and tidy, bed was super comfy and it was quiet outside at night. Common areas, staircase carpet etc could do with a good clean, and there was a strong smell of smoke outside the main door to the flat which I think comes from a neighbouring apartment.

The block is right by the Brighton station (up a steep hill) which made it super convenient for any London trips. The flat is on the 3rd floor and the staircase is very narrow, so bear in mind when travelling with big suitcase! Ideal for one person to stay for longer (I spent two and a half months there) as it had a washing machine. Would definitely recommend! Cons: Wifi had a wee trouble with Teams/Zoom/Facetime videocalls so keep that in mind if you’re working online. The bedroom window rattles during storms/windy season, but sticking folded paper between the glass and frame helped! And during heavy rainfall the ceiling beam in bedroom can leak a wee bit which isn’t ideal, but also not a deal breaker (if you’re in bed by yourself and can move over).

Nice apartment,great communication. Downside is its on a steep hill which didn't affect us but may if you have mobility issues,communal area could do with a spruce up as first impressions count. We would definitley stay again as it has everything you need and is well kitted out. Many thanks to Mark and his team for the communications and easy instructions.

Central accommodation equipped with all comforts. The house is cozy and bright. It is in a great location, walking distance from the station, sheltered from the noises of the great streets and clubs but a 10-minute walk from downtown. The only flaw is the second bed because it has a very uncomfortable mattress. The bedroom bed is comfortable. It's an apartment I recommend

The appartment was nice and spacious. However, there was an awful smell from the neighbor below. It was mostly smoke, but also just the smell of someone that never cleans their home/maybe has a lot of pets? We read in the reviews that this smell was only noticeable in the hallway, but unfortunately it also smelt in the bathroom and bedroom of the appartment. We also felt like the appartment could use some new carpeting or just an overall renovation, it didn’t feel very clean. However, The location was amazing and the communication was great. So if you don’t plan on spending a lot of time in the appartment, would definitely recommend. Otherwise, you might reconsider because of the smell.

It is in a good location if you are wanting to stay within central Brighton and have easy access to the train station. It is up a steep hill and on the top floor, so a bit of a workout getting there. The place itself is relatively clean but there is a lingering odour from the bathroom and hallway. The walls and windows are thin so you can hear everything that is going on around you. I ended up cancelling my stay early as there was an incident of someone using their key to do maintenance and not notifying me beforehand (they were apologetic and was a honest mistake, but made me feel on edge as a solo female traveller) and then notifying me that they would be sending another maintenance worker for a different fix that I would need to be present for or to give up my key for a couple of hours which I was highly uncomfortable with. Overall this a good place for the location but as somewhere to stay and be hosted, I would not recommend

Had a wonderful week in Brighton. The place was easy to find and very close to the station. Everything was within walking distance and there was even a bus stop 5 mins away in case we were feeling extra lazy although we never needed it. Any questions we had were answered within 20 minutes. The ceiling lights in the apartments did stop working part way through the week. The host sent someone to look at them the same day and while they didn't get them fixed during our stay it wasn't too much of a bother for us. It's important that the apartment was also on the top floor and the building up a very steep hill. The apartment was great and clean, although, the building itself was pretty gross and stank of smoke. As soon as we were inside the apartment, though there were no problems. Overall a great stay.

The flat is bright and I felt comfortable. The flat is equipped with everything you need and you can even see the sea. The central location and proximity to the train station, cafes and the sea was great. It is a pity that the smell of a neighbour's cigarette smoke creeps into the flat.

The flat itself was lovely but the communal area walking up to it in the building wasn’t pleasant at all. The smell from a smoker in the building also crept into the flat and didn’t go despite windows being open and being aired out etc. The hill to the flat is very steep and the staircase inside so narrow so maybe don’t bring a huge case! The flat looked exactly how it did in the photos and came fully stocked with everything you’d possibly need!

A very nice home that was close to everything! Clean and tidy, and fairly easy to communicate with Airhostforyou. Great amenities like TV, Netflix and washing machine. The only negative was that it was very responsive, which made it quite limited when you can watch TV and stuff, and that one of the neighbors smokes a lot so that the cigarette smell leaks into the home. Not great to have extra things like extra duvet. But overall a very nice home perfectly located!

The place was super central , a short walk to the North Lanes , lots of small cafes and shops. It was also close to the sea on foot. The apartment was very friendly and bright, super kitchen and quiet bedroom overlooking the green back gardens and the sea was visible on the horizon. Very nice stay and super nice support for any questions, right in the shop of Airhost with Mark.

Lovely place to stay for a month, felt very at home and had all the amenities you need. Short walk to the pier, beach, shopping, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, pubs and tourist spots! And only a three minute walk to the train station! For the price it could’ve been a bit cleaner, and a few things could be fixed up to be a bit nicer, but nothing too drastic, was still quite nice! It is uphill to the building so it was definitely a bit exhausting walking home everyday, especially when it was so hot out, but I got used to it! All together quite lovely, well decorated, good location, felt at home!

Pros- excellent location, close to the train, great communication, quiet street, close to pubs and grocery stores, decent price, wifi worked great, good instructions for arrival Cons- flat is on a very steep hill which makes carrying luggage up challenging, flat is also on the third floor which I don’t think was mentioned in the description, thin walls however the people in neighbouring flats are quiet for the most part, sofa bed broke a week before we came which left us with only one bed( they did provide a cot for replacement but wasn’t very comfortable) Would stay again provided the sofa bed was fixed.

The host was responsive and polite. But the stay was terrible there was broken sofa bed by the time we arrived. We informed immediately to the host once we noticed but host falsely claimed it was us who broke it. There was no cold water supply in the bathroom. We had to carry cold water from kitchen to make the hot water warm. Overall we had terrible stay here one had to sleep on the floor. The host did not help in these issues Overall I had a terrible stay here.

The location is great for walking in the town center and is only a short step from the sea front, the roads around the property are not particularly busy so despite being central it's quite peaceful. The flat is located on the top floor so be prepared to hike your luggage up, it's not exactly K2, but if your not physically capable be warned. The apartment is cosy, clean and homely, great WiFi, Freeview tv and dab radio with Bluetooth connectivity so you're definitely not short of entertainment if you decide to have an evening in. Cute little kitchen that's perfectly adequate for self catering, whether for a short or long stay, small fridge freezer that's entirely right for the number of maximum occupants (4). All in all, not a bad choice for a city break. Our communication with our host was excellent, prompt and helpful responses.

We visit Brighton on a monthly basis & stay in a different Airbnb each time. This one was average due to a few let downs. The positives - location is great, seconds from the train station & quiet. It is up a hill plus stairs but that's clear from the description. Decent shower. Comfy but small sofa. Comfy bed. Smooth check-in, a lock box with a code. The management company was VERY responsive. Major plus - you can leave your bags with them. Negatives - glasses & crockery were filthy. Very few glasses, almost no knives/spoons but tonnes of forks, general lack of usable kitchen items to cook. The living room table had the chairs encased inside and had to be pulled out to use. A regular table/chairs would be better. The chairs were very uncomfortable and felt more like a picnic table. Damp/peeling wall paper under window in bedroom. Bedroom curtain rail broken so couldn't properly close/open curtain. Overall it was ok but needs some TLC. We've stayed in better for a similar price.

The apartment is well located, a five-minute walk from the train station. It is located on the second floor of a narrow staircase. It is very bright and the environment is quiet while the apartment is located only 15 minutes walk from the center of Brighton. Big downside though: the toilet flush was broken when we arrived. We arrived on a Friday and immediately warned that we had a problem with the toilet. There "couldn't be any intervention because it was the weekend"... so we spent our stay manually pumping the toilet to be able to use the toilet, which is part of the mandatory equipment in an Airbnb (and in life in general!).

The stay was perfect. The flats up quite a few narrow sets of stairs so be careful at night when it’s dark! The flat itself was lovely and the sunlight through the bedroom in the mornings was amazing! Teas and coffee available but grab a small carton if you want with milk! Would definitely stay again.

Good: well-decorated, lovely quiet street, warm strong shower and all the facilities you could want such as bluetooth speaker etc. Bad: Up a big hill and with 2 flights of stairs at the end, so if you may struggle then consider that. It's not brilliantly insulated so got a bit cold despite using the thermostat, and the mattress had seen better days. Take your own nespresso pods as none provided. Also, the iplayer on the set top box was locked by a code somehow, even when I added my own profile, so could only watch kid's TV

A lovely, clean and cosy flat. I was down from Suffolk to help my son move rental homes in Brighton and it was an absolute joy to get back every evening after being so busy. A lovely little flat just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of the city, so no shortage of things to do! It’s just a short walk from the station but is up quite a steep hill and the flat is on the top floor, which should be taken into consideration, but the actual flat is well equipped, nicely decorated and very lovely. We actually had an issue with the electricity during one of our days but this was dealt with whilst we were out and the issue was gone by the end of the day. The communication from the host was great, so no quarms at all from us, would definitely use again if we were in Brighton!

Really well located for the station and only a 10-15 minute walk to the station. The flat is up quite a steep hill though so it was a bit of a workout with a suitcase! The flat itself is lovely and airy but the communal stairs are dirty and the smell of smoke from the other flats does permeate. One of us slept on the sofa bed and the neighbours were noisy until around 11.30pm (I bought ear plugs after the first night). This is tricky as the hosts cannot control the neighbours but something to bear in mind if you are a light sleeper. The kitchen is well equipped and the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom is a nice touch. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable and lots of fresh linen and towels are provided. Communication from the host was great and the couple of issues I raised were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Overall we had a good stay in a great city.

The air bnb was really good location wise and easy to access. The beds were really comfy and had everything we needed! It was a very nice and quiet road as well. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness… the stairs and hallway were dirty, there was a bit of mould in the bathroom and the general cleanliness wasn’t amazing. Apart from that, we had a lovely stay :)

This is a lovely place close to everything, a stone's throw away from the train station. Very simple and basic accommodations, but enough to get by for a couple of days in Brighton! Lovely light in the unit, peaceful and quiet overall, good wifi, and comfortable bed. The apartment is up a narrow, shared, and dirty carpeted stairwell that sometimes smells like cigarettes, but once you get your bags up and into the apartment all is well. The hosts were super communicative about some things we needed restocked and we'd return back!

This place is in a great location and is a good size flat. Fixtures and fittings are all modern and we had all we needed. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the place was a big let down! The shared hallways are filthy. The bathroom in the property had a very mouldy shower screen along with mouldy and dirty tiles around the bath, clearly hadn't been wiped down as there was old shampoo/shaving foam marks on the tiles along with dirty water marks. The toilet also needed a good clean.The place didn't look like it had seen a hoover for a while either. We also took a plate out of a cupboard to find that it had old food/sauce left on the bottom of it, so clearly not cleaned and checked before our arrival. Such a shame we experienced this as Brighton is great and the flat would have been too if it was clean!

Great location, easy check in and good value. One thing to note - the communal corridor is smoky and the flat pictures are probably a couple of years old based on wear and tear in the flat but overall really enjoyed our stay!!

Really enjoyed the stay in this flat. The location was superb especially when your partner is always late for a train. 3 minutes uphill walk will keep your daily fitness up to date. Overall, we recommend this place for both short and long stays 🙂

CLEAN // COMFORTABLE // MODERN // SPACIOUS This flat fit the bill perfectly! you couldn’t ask for a better location and the space was spotless throughout. The modern touches made the stay super comfortable and communication from booking to checkout was seamless. TV has all the usual suspects Netflix, prime etc. And the kitchen is pretty well stocked with cooking utensils. 15 mins to the beach, 2 mins to the station, 10 mins to the laines! Single glazing means loud seagulls, but it is Brighton!

Beautiful place in perfect location. Short walk from everywhere, very convenient and very clean and tidy! Had a wonderful time but the smoke alarm was a bit too sensitive and would go off from shower steam and when cooking. Keep bathroom door shut and windows open when showering and cooking to avoid this! Would stay again!

Beautiful apartment where my partner and I spent two lovely nights. Check-in was really easy via the lockbox, and the flat is a very short walk from Brighton station. The flat itself is very nicely furnished and comfortable to spend time in, from the kitchen to the bathroom (the water pressure is excellent). Mark made every effort to make sure everything was as it needed to be, and was generous in taking steps to return to us a book that I'd left on checking out. Overall it's fantastic value - a central but quiet location and a beautiful flat to match!

Heads up, I would not stay here. The flat it’s self is clean and good for one night or two but the flat is situated in a run down town house. We were really disappointed with the whole experience, upon arrival we were uncomfortable and stayed for on an hour and left to stay else where. The whole townhouse is unclean, letters scattered all over the floor, burn marks on doors, dirty carpet and STRONG smell of smoke- not to mention the blaring music from the neighbour next door. The communication with you was robotic and impersonal, I definitely would not recommend airhost. The host refused our refund and we had to go through air b&b directly to get a refund.

Very comfortable and modern apartment with superb kitchen appliances. The location is perfect, right by the train station, in the middle of an area full of amazing cafes and restaurants, and a nice 15-minute walk from the beach. The street the apartment sits on, however, is still very quiet and residential. The apartment space was bigger than what I expected, it receives lots of natural light in during the day, the internet was very fast and reliable, and communication with the host was fantastic all throughout. Highly recommended! Some neighbours were a bit loud, but I trust the host will address the issue so future guests can have an even better stay :)
