It's a nicely maintained garden flat in an incredible location, close to the summit of the Downs in Woodingdean and well located for visiting friends and family at the nearby hospitals (the Nuffield is a short walk away, and the two main NHS hospitals in Brighton about 10 minutes by car). Although its (partial) view over the English Channel means it is quite exposed to the (often changeable and windy) weather, it is reasonably well insulated, warm and bright even on cloudy days thanks to the skylight. A note for guests unfamiliar with British-style windows - if it's cold/windy whilst you're there, you may find it a good idea to close the 'trickle vents' (small vents above each openable window), which will make it much less draughty. Do remember to open them however after you check out, to ventilate the place properly. As regards the host - they are very communicative and the check in/out is lockbox-based, so you don't have to worry about what time you arrive.

A spectacular scenery from the house. Very good heating supply during the coldest days in Brighton. Although location is further from the city centre, it is accessible through bus. A good getaway from the busy city. Highly recommend.

The accommodation was lovely, and perfect for what we needed, so unusual to get a fully sized kitchen in an accommodation like this, and it was stocked with everything you could need. The area is lovely and the accommodation was really clean.

We absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was spotless and beautifully maintained. From the property, we could even enjoy a view of the sea, which made it extra special. The location was perfect, with great bus connections both to the city and the beach. The place had everything we needed, especially the kitchen was well equipped. Overall the apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. We couldn't recommend it more!

Honestly obsessed. I live about 25 minutes away and just needed somewhere to relax. It will Honestly be a new place I’ll find myself going back to. 5 minutes from the marina drive and 11 from the main Brighton shops/pier. It was only an £12 uber. With free on road parking which is a massive bonus. The bed was insanely comfortable, the garden was adorable and we loved the fact we had our own front garden and private space. It has everything you need from a Henry Hoover to shampoo! Even a washing machine. It comes with almost everything, so you don’t need to pack tea or kitchen roll etc. as well as having. Full fridge and freezer - always handy. For those who just want to stay in, it has a good size telly with a fire stick! Disney plus and YouTube etc. one night we pulled the sofa bed out and watched telly - it was great. Honestly worth the money for your own space! Tucked away but also not far from everything you need. Perfect, we loved it! We will be back!

Our stay at the apartment was excellent. It’s in a great location—only about 10 minutes by car to both the city centre and the beach. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding area is beautiful, and the neighbourhood felt very welcoming. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very good 4-night stay in this very peaceful apartment in the Brighton Heights. The location is a bit out of the way but easily accessible by bus, or car. The apartment was very clean, bright, with all the necessary amenities.

Had a nice few days away. Accommodation was nice and clean, simply furnished. Most adequate for our needs. Beds did not provide the most Comfort. Nice outdoor seating area with views of the sea .

Perfect little hideaway for staying local while someone's in Nuffield hospital. 15 minute bus ride to Brighton centre, or an hours walk. The place literally had everything I needed, including pegs, te towels and tin opener. Great touch having tea and coffee for arrival

Really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It was very clean and tidy on arrival, kitchen has everything you need to cook with. Room furniture was comfortable and nice outdoor area. Only issue was on checkout when the checkout time was changed from 11am, to 10am with very late notice. Other than that, it was a lovely place to stay.

Dale’s apartment was in the perfect spot for us - a short drive or bus ride into Brighton but far enough out of town to be peaceful and private. Lovely sea view in the distance too! The apartment was a good size with well equipped kitchen and stylish bathroom. It was warm and cozy during a very cold January!

Place was a little smaller than expected, but thats not too big of a deal as we werent in the property for long periods of time. Excellent collunication, property was easy to find and the basics were provided. Neighbours were a little loud but it was Christmas, can't really hold that against them. Easy to get to local bus links and on street parking available. Overall good lroperty to stay in if youre looking to explore Brighton or, like me, tonuse as a base to visit friends and family.

place was not as it was shown on photos very misleading terrible location over an hour walk to Brighton.large studio very small.what more can be said. £617 down the drain went home same night as arrived, being generous even to give any rating at all.

This place was amazing. It had all the amenities you would need. Beautiful kitchen, pretty garden, clean bathroom, awesome skylight. Everything was great. The location is great too. Such a peaceful neighborhood. The neighbors were so nice. The bus stop is a few minutes walk away and gets you into town in 15 minutes.

What a brilliant stay, location was perfect for us as we have family in the area. Garden was beautiful and we used it daily for dinner. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and utensils which was handy for saving money eating out. Hoover included which is rare too! Only thing I would say is bring a fan for the hotter weather as the room got very warm especially with winter duvets supplied but that would be our only comment which is only for these hot summer weeks. Would definitely stay again!

Apart from the weather!!! we have had a wonderful weeks' stay here in Downland Rd. Having grown up in Brighton, I have always known about Woodingdean and we chose this location because of the easy access from the Lewes/Falmer direction where we have family connections - and of course the brilliant frequent bus services directly into town. The studio apartment was spotless, extremely well equipped and very comfortable for the four of us. Finally, we loved it's position high up on top of the South Downs with the distant views of the sea.

Nice clean cosy apartment for a stay in Brighton. The "free parking" is just on-road parking and the floor was a little dirty but other than that it was a lovely place and perfect for anyone visiting patients in the nearby hospital. I was able to work from the desk and cook simple meals and it was nice to sit out in the private garden when the sun was out. Great views of the sea too. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I would definitely recommend this place for couples. It’s a beautiful place to stay and so clean. We felt super comfortable here! Obviously a great location and free parking which is very convenient. It’s a small place so would definitely recommend it for 2 people. Loved it!!☺️

A lovely Appartment situated outside the city with free parking. very helpful and friendly staff. is part of a wide portfolio of houses under an Airbnb manager. The bed was smaller than expect and the sofabed has a very thin mattress. Felt well looked after throughout. Had a great time here

This place, the area, accessibility, local public transport, private garden with sea view. Everything about this apartment was perfect. Distance to central Brighton was walkable as well as easy links to bus routes. I would love to come back to stay at this place when I visit family again. I highly recommend this apartment, but would love to keep it secret, so it's available when I need it again. Air host were brilliant too. Great communication with links to local events & places to visit. The place was beautifully maintained & perfect for me as a solo traveller. I could see the potential of having my girls with me too with the sofa bed as well as a double bed. Definitely worth every penny .

Very nice and clean apartment, we really enjoyed the cute little garden and the fact that there was a washer-dryer machine. Very easy to park and convenient check-in with lockbox. Host is very helpful and responsive.

The location is very good with multiple buses going from the end of the road into central Brighton approx every 20mins. The accommodation was as described and everything was modern and clean. The hub/oven and washing machine were very modern and effective. The kitchen was well stocked with a coffee machine and tea/coffee provided. Only omission would be a can opener, some coasters and placemats. Parking on the road was easy and there was plenty of parking available near/outside the accomodation. TV had a freeview box, but you would need to take a fire stick or equivalent if you wanted to watch anything other than iplayer. Had an issue with the wifi while I was there, but the host showed up and sorted it personally within the hour which shows a commitment to a great guest experience.

Quality and very clean accommodation, located in a very quiet area and close to downtown Brighton. This place has the amenities needed for a tourist stay, it is easily accessible by car and has a lot of parking nearby (on the street). The setting is idyllic and promises lots of activities in the surrounding area. We had a very good stay there.

It is a perfect little house to rest. Everything is immaculate and clean. Very well thought. The place is for walking around with very beautiful views of the downs and the sea. You take the bus very close that takes you to the center of Brigthon in 12 minutes. I recommend it

We loved our short stay! The Airbnb was cute and cozy in a great location with great walks nearby. Our hosts were friendly and gave us awesome tips for exploring. Highly recommend!
