First of all, the company that manages the Airhost property was impeccable with great kindness and very responsive to our questions. In addition, we were able to leave our luggage for free before entering and then after checkout👌. The staff are very nice:) Then we had a pretty nice stay. For the highlights of the accommodation, it is despite being in the basement, bright enough, equipped and well located five minutes from the train station. After for us, the bad points are the bedding (mattresses and pillows), and although it is in a quiet area, it is still roadside with 1, relative passage… There may also be something to do against the humidity of this apartment.

I really enjoyed my 2 week stay here! - great location - lot of natural light (even for a basement) - spacious enough - good communication with the owner (any issue we had was sorted that very same day!) Only negative i can this of for some guests is the small patches of mould around the flat BUT these are tiny and didn’t inconvenience my stay at all. Nothing that i wouldn’t expect but i know some people really hate it haha Was a lovely stay and if it’s free next time im here i’ll probably be back again!!

We stayed for 3 nights. The floor in the bedroom was dirty and there was underwear hanging from the curtain rail. We got in contact with the host and apparently someone came to clean the room again when we were out but we weren’t told and couldn’t tell because the floor was still dirty and the underwear was still there. The sofa bed shouldn’t be for 2 people because one side of it is very hard so it’s like sleeping on the floor. In the end they refunded us the cleaning fee but it was slow to communicate with them unless we called them and I don’t know if getting £84 is worth staying somewhere so dirty. We won’t be staying there again.

The place was really cosy and close to the station (though it is up a bit of a hill). The property owner (who lives in the property above) was really nice and very helpful and responsive whenever we had issues. It might not be the best for people wanting to shower as opposed to having a bath as it was a bit awkward due to it being a freestanding bathtub (although this was not too much of an issue). The bed is quite low but comfortable to sleep on. Noise level was relatively low. Overall, it is a really nice property to stay in, great location, perfect for short stays. Would definitely recommend.

Had a very lovely stay. Any issues we had someone came straight away to help. There is not a bin to throw the full bin bags in on the premises there are only public bins across the road next to the pub. Over all had a really lovely stay. Really enjoyed our stay here.

There were a few issues, first of all the cleaning wasn’t done at check in time. Secondly the hot water barely lasted 10 minutes which made bathing a nightmare. Also I sat down on the closed toilet seat after a cold shower to dry off and the thing shattered underneath me, keep in mind I only weigh 180 pounds. I was charged $70 for the seat, which I thought was kind of crazy.

Stains on cushions. Thin Duvet. Mould in areas. Not told TV only Streaming & Apps. Hot water in Bathroom hit & miss for Roll Top Bathroom reason i booked it. Black stuff around skirting boards. I took photos. Had to wear dressing gown to bed thinner than summer duvet. Needs A good spring clean.

The flat itself was lovely but it is a basement flat with a family above us. The flat was squeaky clean and absolutely had lots of good amenities like a tv and even an additional sofa bed but the area was pretty noisy at night and the people above could be heard moving around all the time.

Fantastic week long stay in this flat! Very close to the train station and the laines, and only a short walk further to the seafront. It is a bit of a steep hill from the station, but a very short one. The flat is clean and bright, and the huge tub is amazing. Definitely recommend!

Very bright and airy for a basement flat. Very pleased pets are allowed, a plus point for us. There is a musky smell in the flat which seems to be emanating from the wardrobe in the bedroom. I unpacked my clothes in the wardrobe and they all smelt of damp when I returned home. The bed was not the comfiest, too soft for me! It is an OK flat for a couple of days.

Good location, but the apartment needs maintenance. The lock to the front (patio) door is very difficult. The stairs to the basement flat are deep and uneven. The appliances are old and broken, the kitchen is poorly equipped with few utensils, pots/pans, cutlery etc, the walls and furniture are stained, there’s a bath but no shower.

What a lovely stay in Brighton! The Airbnb was in a perfect location to walk to the train station, or to explore the rest of Brighton! I felt right at home here, and the hosts were always responsive when I had questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The location, ease of access & warmth of this property are probably the best features, but; be warned the bedroom faces an extremely busy road, you can hear lorries & buses passing all night. In addition, there is a very high cleaning charge (GBP 70+), I am not sure what you are really paying for because there were stains all over the footstool in the lounge & thick dust inside the radiators, the cleaning products that they used to clean the kitchen have a funny smell & you are told to remove your own rubbish at the end of your stay. I wouldn't book again.

The apartment itself was really lovely and the location is perfect. It’s just little thing I would recommend fixing for other peoples stays. As soon as we walked in all we could smell was bleach, it stayed for the majority of the stay each time we left and came back all we could smell was bleach. It was obvious that someone had moped with bleach a good half an hour before we were allowed to check in. The smell was really strong. I suggest using something else, like Zoflora that gives off a better smell. After we had been there one night we started to notice clumps of dust in the bedroom and big clumps of hair especially under the radiator. It was clear the clean had been rushed. The shower needs sorting. The bath wasn’t balanced properly, so whenever you moved it tipped to one side which made showering uncomfortable as you’re scared you’re going to fall. The shower head is ridiculous, you have to hold it to shower and with my boyfriend being 6ft his head popped over the shower curtain and had to crouch to shower to avoid getting water everywhere. He really dreaded showering each day unfortunately. I personally think the bathroom needs redoing. I would stay here again but only if the changes are made.

We had a sunny nice stay in brighton. Some problems with the heating at the beginning of our stay were solved. Jessica from Airbnb was very cooperatively. It is a basement flat and so it is difficult to ventilate well when you are out all day. We also noticed a smell of damp, when we came back to the flat in the evening. The bedroom is big and there is a big wardrobe in it. Otherwise the flat is small, as is usual in Brighton. But due to the mostly fantastic weather we were out and about a lot anyway

arrived at air bnb Wednesday 24th 2022 (this was booked for 2 nights) immediately noticed a strong smell of damp . when looking around apartment black mold was found under the sink in kitchen . damp markings were also on bedroom ceiling which looked painted over ,major health hazard . Unable to open windows in bedroom as they had been sealed,front gate and main door locks where dodgy was only told there's a 'knack' to opening the flat door to get out and front gate wouldn't shut unless you lifted it up which is a security issue which we were not told about until next day when we was preparing to leave. During night time we found it impossible to sleep due to strong smell and stuffiness of apartment made it difficult to breathe one friend staying is asthmatic which triggered overnight. had to cut our holiday short and leave early next day as could not stay in apartment would not recommend this place until the host fixes the issue. All these issues was reported to air host, where a property manager was sent, but no follow up calls about the damp and they only tried to give us alternative accommodation the next day which was already too late. This is the last thing we wanted after a long day traveling, really disappointed we had to end the trip early because it was exhausting.

Great property and ideal location. Literally 4 minutes walk from station. Family of 4 (2 year old and 4 year old) kids loved their “new house” Jessica was so pleasant to deal with clear instructions with regards to check in and out and checked in regularly to make sure nothing else she could do to make our stay better and all was going well. Will definitely use again on next visit to Brighton.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. Very convienient location and comfortable. It’s a bit noisy with the road and train station, but nothing that stops an average sleeper. A few small improvements would make the rating higher (a fan, clearer instructions for some things and more bathroom towels for when the floor gets wet after a shower), but it had everything you need for a nice stay. The sofa in the living room was even fine to sleep on, despite not being advertised as an extra sleeping area.

Absolutely brilliant Airbnb. Great location, amazing value for money and the hosts were just great! Jessica was so helpful and was always there if we needed something. The Airbnb itself was so spacious and perfect to be honest . Everything we needed was there already including extra pillows, towels, blankets and toiletries. The master bedroom is massive and super pretty😍we chose this Airbnb for my graduation and me and my family loved it! We parked at Julian road and was only £7.50 for the day! If you can’t find a space I would recommend parking at the train station - bit more expensive but not as bad as the other car parks in central town. All in all we had a fantastic stay and I would 100% recommend this Airbnb to everyone!

The flat location was great for our stay and was near the Iron Works venue where I had a conference. It's also very close to the North Laines and has some great pubs and coffee shops. The living and kitten area was nice and suited our needs well. The checking-in/out was simple also. On-street parking is permit only but we managed to pull over to unload and load up again. The flat was fairly clean but could do with some improvement. The bath and shower were a little bit awkward to use since there isn't a mount for the shower head and it was hard to prevent water from getting on the bathroom floor but not too bad for a short stay. The bed was a little uncomfortable for my liking and was very soft and I could feel the springs at times. My only real negative though was the travel cot that we paid an extra £20 to use didn't come with any bedding or waterproof covering, I feel this should have been made clear ahead of our trip. Also, there is little that the owner can do about this but the flat above was quite noisy too and on a couple of occasions I think was playing live music.

Great flat! Safe, secure, clean and comfortable. Very convenient, yet quiet location- close to beach, transport and city centre. Airhost for you were very communicative (responded within an hour during the day). Only downside was the shower being handheld (good directing of shower needed to prevent flooding of the floor).

The apartment was lovely and clean, the location was amazing, literally walk down a little hill and you’re at the train station! The host was super lovely and attentive asking if we had any issues and to let her know however everything was 100%! I’ve used airbnb once before in brighton and had an awful experience resulting in a full refund so I was worried but this stay has renewed my faith and I will definitely be back!

The flat was lovely and included everything we needed for a week stay. Perfcet location with a 5 minute walk to the station and 15 minutes to the beachfront, great for all tourist attractions. However, we did have some cleanliness issues in the flat such as dirty linens, although due to quick responses, these were fixed promptly by the team. We had a lovely stay and would recommend.

Close to amenities and not far of a walk to the centre where there’s a wonderful selection of cafés and shops etc. Not far from the train station also which was really handy, definitely be interested in staying at the property again in future.

Nice apartment but overall a little disappointed. On instructions it said there would be a fine if any signs of pets therefore I presumed it was a pet free home. There was large amounts of pet hair on the sofa/puffet meaning we couldn’t sit down at night without getting pet hair on our clothes. Large clumps of hair underneath the radiator. A reasonably good location (20 minute walk to town centre/ sea front) however it was good weather so didn’t make a difference to us. Wouldn’t return to this apartment however very good response time wise from the host but they wouldn’t even refund the cleaning fee as I sent them photos on check out day. Definitely wouldn’t return.

The flat has a very spacious double bedroom with lots of storage place. The bathroom has a big bath you can relax in. The hot/cold water taps are marked wrongly. The basic things are provided in the kitchen - tea, coffee, sugar, oil,salt/pepper, washing up liquid etc .Unfortunately there are no big pans to cook a meal but tiny ones from Tesco. The flat is beautiful and in a great location- very close to the train station , North Laines and the centre of Brighton. Parking on Julian road (7 mins walk from the flat) is £6.50 a day. We were dissapointed with the cleaning and lack of cooking equipment but overall it was a lovely stay.

Pnly main negative was the bath could have done with something to hold the shower head up to make washing easier. The hot tap is actually the cold tap and finding the right temperature on the shower head was tricky. Other than that, lovely place.
