The accommodation is very easy to get to from the Preston Park train station and you can quickly get to the city by bus. It is very far on foot. The accommodation has everything you need - unfortunately the dishes in the kitchen were not clean, but otherwise the apartment was clean, well equipped and we felt comfortable and would come back. Clear recommendation!!

Nice place but the filthy dishes were a let down, it seemed as if the cleaning lady had just did what she could to make it seem clean but upon further inspection the kitchen and all the kitchen appliances were quite dirty. While a washing machine was advertised we were unable to access it as it was locked. Otherwise the space and location were perfect as well as a lovely private garden area!

The place itself is nice. Unfortunately, we had a few problems with entering the property which took over an hour as we were given the wrong keysafe number. We weren't compensated for this wasted time, sat in the street. We got a spare set as the host did not know the correct code for the keysafe. Then I had expected to be given instructions on what to do with the keys on leaving but i had to call up and ask. The person I spoke to didn't know about our situation. Nice clean place with a lovely garden, very high cleaning fee. Not a great host.

The flat is a basement flat but there is still plenty of light and space, not dingy or dark at all. Although we didn’t really use the kitchen as a avid chef I’d say there’s everything you’d need for a stay - only thing I’d say is there’s only two very small cups for tea and coffee. Which is being finicky at most! Lovely place, easy to get into central brighton from. It can be noisy when the people upstairs are moving around and although there’s a very clear ‘quiet time policy’ they were pretty noisy until quite late most nights (didn’t bother me because I sleep like the dead but my boyfriend was kept awake by it) It’s a really beautiful flat and perfect for a weekend get away!

Very clean with a good balance of art on walls without unneeded bric a brak. Personally, I loved the colour and shape of the couch. Good heating in winter when we stayed but this place being in the basement it's going to be nice and cool in summer. Lots of windows and back of location has outside patio plus small garden and pretty trees. Small shop within walking distance but go a bit further walk for a Tesco express. Better yet, find the popular market for great produce! Will need to take the bus to get into Brighton but easily done. No restaurants close by. Loved having electric street charging (2) available just outside the door. Demand higher on Saturday night. Stairs down to the front door lean awkwardly so be careful, but only 6-7 steps. Seemed a lot of rules but also liked having check out email sent on last full day. Kitchen has good selection of everyday spices. Pans and knives adequate but if cooking is your thing, bring a decent pan and chef knife.

We loved the apartment and location was great though far away from the pier and other activities, it felt like home was very comfortable and cozy for our honeymoon. Jessica was very responsive and helpful when needed. Heating was great and we had to turn it off intermittently, the TV had loads of options to watch with zero boredom. There’s also room for improvement in some areas like having a microwave, providing more toiletries, towels and sheets. For an 8days stay being given 5 small toilet paper is below standard in our opinion. We requested for sheets and toiletries and got told we have to pay for someone to clean at £34 which is overly priced. What happens to leaving extra sheet, toiletries and towels for the guest as they can actually do this themselves. This was a huge turn off for us tbh. We can’t fault the apartment itself but the management needs to do better regarding the aforementioned.

We did not have a good 2 week stay. Dark basement flat. The shower broke on Xmas day and the tv was not properly connected to an aerial. It was really inconvenient and not what we expected. Appreciate it’s hard to get things repaired immediately when it’s over Xmas but we were refused compensation when we said no thanks to repairs being made only 48hrs before we were leaving. It wasn’t worth the hassle of having maintenance people arrive for the sake of 2 days, we were already so fed up - but for airhost to treat us as if they’d delivered the accommodation they promised is outrageous. Lastly, the flat says no pets but there were pet hairs on sofa and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Can’t recommend this place.

We only ever have good things to say about this place. We've stayed here numerous times- it's always clean and tidy, has a homely feel without being 'cluttered'. The little garden out the back is very pretty and full of wildlife. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There are several really nice cafes very nearby, and Preston Park is 10 minutes down the hill, if you want to stay local. Or, Brighton 'Actual' is an easy 25minutes walk away. Thoroughly recommend this place for both a few nights as a short get-away, or as a great base for a longer stay in Brighton with easy access to London or Lewea via Preston Park Station which is 5 min walk away.

A fantastic choice for me and my partner!! the locking system was thorough but great for peace of mind in an area we don't know. We walked in and we felt right at home - I felt like we could of lived there with the way the place was furnished. In comparison to some of the other places, it wasn't bare and made you feel like you could relax and be right at home. Everything was clean and comfortable and would definitely recommend!! thank you very much for your hospitality and we love to come again 😁😁

the house has everything, utensils, appliances (it does not have a microwave), even basic foods such as oil, salt, sugar, spices. It is super quiet, great for a couple, spacious and clean in general. It has a garden patio that's a bit unkept, but it gives you a great view to the living room. It is not close to the center so you always have to use public transport, but outside for this I would put a 10. Jessica or whoever took care of it, I was just in touch with questions. Overall experience was very positive, I would recommend it.

Perfect place for a peaceful break whilst being close to the activities of Brighton. I walked into Brighton in about 20 mins but the bus was regular too. Walking was lovely as there are some gorgeous little areas with wine bars and restaurants en route. The house was clean and really well furnished. I was able to work at the little table by the window onto the garden and also enjoyed the peace of the lovely private garden. Will definitely return next time I’m visiting Brighton.

Another lovely stay here. Always clean and tidy, quiet and comfortable. An easy 30 min walk into town, lots of lovely cafes nearby. Preston Park is 10 min walk away. Very peaceful neighborhood. If you want to easily be able to dip in and out of the center of Brighton and retreat back to somewhere very quiet and comfortable, then this is the place to do it from.

Great place, very nice garden. Friendly neighbours, and walk distance of bus stop that takes you directly to the cebtre of Brighton. The only issue was the water pressure, but uts barely noticeable. Other than that, it's an amazing place 👏🏻

Upstairs very noisy even mid night 3am. No heat and they just messaged me the same words on the handbook. No one try to help. Worst of all every morning there are used snack packing bags in the front door and I have no time to take care of it because it’s too much.

We had a lovely stay. The bed is big and comfy. Loved the big doors onto the garden. The garden needs some work. There is more than enough utensils and kitchen goodies. The stove works well and the fridge is a great size. The water could be warmer. The house temp is adequate. Might be cold in winter. Nice location. U can easily walk to Brighton town central. Station is close by but on a steep hill .

This is our second visit to Tivoli Crescent - The location is ideal for us (needing to be in the Preston area). The flat was very clean and tidy. There are some lovely cafes nearby. It's a 20-30min walk to the seafront. The area is very quiet. The flat is very comfortable with everything you need. We'll definitely be staying again.

We stayed at this apartment for 2 night's. Wow what an amazing apartment beautiful decor throughput. Very cosy and homely. Felt as if you were in your own home. Very clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely big comfortable bed resulting in a great restful nights dleep. Was great to have a bath aswell as shower. The views from the garden were beautiful especially at night when the lights were showing. Wonderful quier location with omly a short taxu ride to the beach, lanes etc. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others wanting a break in Brighton

This place is an amazing find. It's a basement flat, but it doesn't feel like it because the living room opens out onto the beautiful back garden. Everything inside the apartment is so comfortable and homely and beautifully decorated. We stayed for almost two weeks and it started to really feel like home. Maybe the nicest Airbnb place I've ever stayed in :)

This is a beautiful home. With a lovely view outside by the patio, you can see the landscape in the distance. The hosts were very good with communication and made sure everything was in tact! A few suggestions have been made to the host on low pressure of water from shower head (it was fine for the most but I think it needs replacing), more pots and pans as the frying pan was completely non-stick so my eggs stuck to the bottom. I also think I would’ve preferred there to be curtains that drape over the windows / doors by patio, just for added privacy. But all in all, it was cosy, comfortable and I would definitely stay again. I also got a good nights sleep here, which is typically unusual for me! Thank you for being such great hosts. :-)

I’d echo the previous reviews. The flat is… fine. It’s a basement flat, so it’s damp. There was obviously mould that had been wiped away behind the headboard of the bed, and the power sockets had dirt or mould on them too. Once we finally got the heating going, it was okay. We had to reset the boiler to do so. There was no flexibility with check in or out times because of cleaning schedules. I will say the communication with property manager was excellent. All in all, it’s an old flat that has been nicely decorated, but expect everything you would with a basement flat in Brighton :)

We had a lovely stay here, things were in general comfortable, clean and tidy, comfy bed and the blackout curtains aided a good night's sleep also!. Big French doors leading out to a small but nice garden, we sat on some chairs outside on the first evening and enjoyed the night sky and the lovely views of Brighton to the left, unfortunately though just as we were taking a first sip of our wine and we had noticed some dog poo on the patio just in front of where we were sitting, which obviously wasn’t pleasant I guess it must have been missed between handovers. The other not so great things are the shower as not being very powerful to say the least (water comes out in more of a piddle)! and the Internet on the TV service was a bit temperamental - whilst we were there and so we resorted at times to watching iplayer on our lap top. These are the reasons we're not giving five stars, but all in all a lovely stay and our hosts were very friendly and attentive.

The living room was very nice, homely and we enjoyed our stay in this flat. The flat is a converted basement from the front that leads out onto a lovely ground-floor garden from the back. The pros: - The living room and kitchen space is lovely, nicely put together and bright. - The sofa in the living room is very comfortable. - The kitchen is well supplied in terms of cookware, crockery and basic essentials. - Very accessible transport links, recommend the 27 bus for getting into Brighton. - The garden is lovely, good cats, nice birds, nice trees and good views. - Tasty Thai restaurant called NokNok five minute walk away. - The bed was supportive and very comfy. - They provided us with lots of toilet roll and towels. - Brighton is great and we think everyone should visit. The cons: - Generally the flat was pretty clean and tidy on arrival, but it was not thoroughly cleaned and needs more attention to detail. There were clumps of cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in corners and from some walls, dusty lighting fixtures which had not been cleaned for a long time (worst of which in the bathroom), also some hairs on the bathroom floor. Cleaned some of these myself. - The air in the flat was stale when we arrived, needed airing out. Leaving all doors and windows open for 10 mins a day before we went out helped solve this. - The flat was cold when we arrived, would have been nice in winter months if the heating was left on ‘auto’ before guests arrive. - We found the flat pretty cold, the thermostat was set too low for comfort in winter months. Although instructions were given on how to turn up the heating manually whilst maintaining the auto settings, the buttons (“party” and “ok”) did not work so we were unable to turn up the heat when we were cold. - The shower pressure is extremely weak and feeble, I would advise the host to try it and rectify. A lot of these issues are solvable and we hope the hosting company is able to fix these for future guests. All in all enjoyed our stay anyway and would recommend, especially if the ‘cons’ have been solved prior to your visit.

The property was riddled with damp and black mold so I left and the host gave me a full refund as they accepted this too. The problem is severe - the property is entered through a front door which has been put onto an alley that ran between two terraced houses. Unfortunately the other end of this alley is still open to the elements with just a metal gate on the end. The door that actually lets you inside the building is an INTERNAL door. It is not air tight or suitable for the position it is in due to the alleyway being open to the elements. This has no doubt caused the severe damp and mold issues inside the property and needs to be rectified. I will say that the host who is a third party letting agent accepted my concerns and reasons for leaving and refunded my money in full except for the £60 cleaning fee. It is hard to know whether they knew of this problem before, they claimed they didn't based on the previous positive reviews but I struggle to believe no one has mentioned this before, the whole flat absolutely stunk as soon as you entered, you could tell there was damp there. I've lived in Brighton for 20 years and experienced damp and moldy flats before but this one was really bad and has some severe structural issue that needs to be resolved, it shouldn't be advertised any longer until this is fixed. That's my honest review, I wish I didn't have to leave it but there it is.

This is a lovely property and really well situated for access to the town. We walked (takes about 25mins) or there’s a bus stop 5mins from the flat that also takes you right into town. Jessica (from Airhost) was very easy to communicate with and checked we’d arrived and got away OK too. Loads to do in Brighton - we’ll def be back!

A nice, well furnished and comfortable, basement flat and overall we had a good stay. The bathroom is damp and windowless and towels quickly got wet through and, without the central heating on, they would not dry as the only heater in the bathroom was connected to central heating. Unhelpfully, the manager’s response to our request for a second pair of towels was that it would cost us 25 pounds, so we switched on the central heating; a bit excessive in summertime but the only way we could dry the towels.

Our stay at Brighton was lovely. The flat is as homely as you could could possibly wish for, everything you'd ever need to make food is available in the kitchen and the bedroom was incredibly cozy. We did not expect the garden to be that nice, once we had arrived we know that we would have a breakfast outside every morning! The check-in was uncomplicated and the communication with the host flawless. There is a rail station nearby that gets you into the city quickly. Alternatively, there are bus lines that get you straight to the beach. I am so glad that we chose this place and I definitely want to return!

We stayed for two weeks. The personal and thoughtful design meant it felt just like home. Just what we needed! It has a beautiful private garden. Its on a quiet street clost to town and felt very private (no noise from neighbours either). Perfect place to stay for a get away in Brighton, if you want to be able to enjoy everything about the city and surrounding areas and then relax at home. Well stocked kitchen too with all the equipment you need!

We stayed here for a week in summer and had an absolutely wonderful time. The apartment is clean, tidy and has everything you need. The garden is the cherry on top, it’s really private and scenic and a great place for a morning coffee or an evening wine. There’s a coffee shop just around the corner which is great for lunch, and a lovely fish and chip shop too- you’re not short of local choice. Just a really lovely place to stay, you won’t regret booking here!
