The apartment looked a bit better than the photos and it was not as clean as it should be. You shouldnt be allergic to cats, there seems to be living one. The Neighbourhood is okay but not really vivid and a bit run- down. Its a bit too far away for walking to the seaside. So i would say its an okay.

It was very cold in the house and they didn't leave instructions on how to turn on the heating. The living room looked bigger in the photo and it is small. The rest of the house was nice and clean.

We had a great stay at the property. It has everything you need and the hosts are very responsive! Unfortunately, we couldn't get the oven to work so used the microwave instead. It would be more of an issue for people wanting a longer stay. Also, feel even though it was clean, it could do with a deep clean as there was dust on blinds, shelves etc. For how high the cleaning charge is, you would think areas like that would be covered. Other than that, it is a great little place in a really good location to get to the beach, shops and restaurants!

We spend 7 days in the house to enjoy the summer. The house was well-equipped, with good beds and sheets. We were disturbed by the carpet smell in the bedrooms, which after we opened the windows was softened. Casa is in a steep location. For the elderly on foot may be a problem. The region was very quiet with nearby restaurants and markets. Host responded quickly. Several legal games that were successful with the children.

This property was as advertised but could do with some TLC and greater detail to attention needed to cleaning between guests. There was a musty smell as soon as you walked in. There was a dead catus plant in kitchen which was seeping and smelling. A brick was used to keep the bedroom door closed. That said the place was basically clean and the host very helpful and responsive.

Property was perfect for what we needed including our 5 month old. It was comfortable and quiet and Air host were easy to contact and quick to respond to any messages.

The place is as described, comfortable and well-equipped. Generally it was ok, but we did have some issues with a broken blind, a non-functioning top oven, and flickering lights. More care could be taken to check the property between guests, to make sure everything is in working order.

This was a great place to stay- well located if you are visiting the university and easy to get down into town . Nice quiet area with no road noise. Very comfortable beds.

Fantastic host! Responded quickly to all our questions and requests… This is a quaint home nicely situated in a great neighborhood. Easy walk to bus routes. Great location in between the university and beach/tourist area. We will be back!

Bonjour, we found a nice apartment, similar to the description given on the site, located on the ground floor of a semi-detached house in a quiet area with a mini garden at the back . It is possible to park your car on the street of the property to shop or take the bus on Lewes road . Communication is clear and responsive with Jessica - Airhost For You We are pleased with our stay

Appartment had good and working utilities inside including dishwasher and washing machine. Furnishings average and nor a great location - lots of bins kept on the streets and only fast food joints and pubs to eat in.

I stayed here for a week while visiting family. Both beds were very comfortable and the large kitchen was useful. If the weather cooperates, the back garden is a lovely space to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Would come back.

We arrived and left shortly afterwards, as we arrived to weeds at the front door and a dusty small table and chairs looking onto the road and dustbin. Inside the apartment, the furniture, soft furnishings and carpets were old, grubby and stained. The back garden had weeds too and the sitting out area was dirty and dusty. Most importantly the advertised short walk to tourist attractions like the pier was at least a 35 - 40 minute hilly walk. What you see and what you get are very different. I have been part of Air bnb since 2016. This is the first time in nearly 8 years that I have had an unpleasant experience with an Air bnb property and dealt with an unhelpful host. She is not prepared to acknowledge how the property is misrepresented online and refund us, when we were NOT prepared to stay in these substandard surroundings, despite paying competitive rates. Furthermore I am very surprised that Air bnb is happy to allow and accept this misrepresentation to happen.

The flat is modest in size, but comfortable and well furnished. Beds are very comfortable. The only thing missing was dishwasher soap.

This place was fine. Airhost however are a perfect example of everything that is frustrating and annoying about the modern economy. Very polite and pleasant emails are sent assuring you that they would like to help if you ask for anything. Just ask! we were assured. We asked if it was possible to have any more clothes hangers than the four hangers that were there, given that our stay was for two week. Airhost couldn't help. The detergent and dishwasher tablets ran out so we asked if it was possible to have them replenished. Apparently we were supposed to subsidise all the future guests or occupants of the home by restocking these items ourselves, despite having paid not just for the rental but also a cleaning charge. So despite the flowery language about how much Airhost cares about their guests, it's all just empty hot air. Airhost couldn't give a shit about anything but taking your money.

The flat was perfect for our stay over Christmas, we were able to get to our son’s house who lives near by. You can walk into Brighton easily. Only one niggle was a vase of dead flowers left in the kitchen, which I had to dispose of but otherwise everything was great.

This is a lovely apartment, on ground floor level, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The shower is great, and the flat has some nice touches - guitars hanging on the walls, funky cutlery etc. We were visiting our daughter who lives nearby, so it was useful that we could park outside the house all weekend. Communication from the host was great, and we hope to return soon.

Good accommodation and location although rather hilly so might be an issue if you aren’t very fit Great transport links into the beach, shops and The Lanes which makes up for being a bit of a way out of the centre Well equipped accommodation with everything you need Enjoyed our stay and fed back some maintenance points to the host ready for the next guests which were acknowledged quickly

Great property and very well equipped. Clothes and toothbrush are all that's required as everything else is taken care of. lovely sunny garden, high spec appliances and every imaginable kitchen accessory. The property was lovely and Cool on some very hot days which was greatly appreciated. Great communication and very helpful.

Really beautiful stay and good ambience in house. Gaming atmosphere, colourful lights, books to read etc. Only issue we faced was the fur in the sofa as there is 2 rooms for accommodating 4 person's and one person had to sleep in sofa. So fur was little inconvenient. Also stay is a 5 min walk from bus stop in a inclined road.Apart from that all went well. enjoyed it.

We spent a lovely month in this apartment. It is exactly as advertised; clean, cosy, very well equipped, great kitchen, great shower, comfortable beds. When we had problems they were very promptly dealt with (the heating wasn't working at first and the back door gave us some trouble). We'd gladly stay here again.

This pretty flat is on a steep hill a short walk to one of the main roads into Brighton town centre. If you are driving the week day parking restrictions outside the property are a real nuisance. There are very few in streets about 20-15 mins walk away which allow free all day parking, these fill up very quickly. We would recommend asking the owner if a visitor parking permit can be made avaliable if you are there on week days. 7pm Friday- 11am Monday there are no restrictions, so this won't affect weekend visitors.

Lovely flat, very clean and cozy. Beds were comfy and shower was also great, & fresh towels were provided. We used the parking outside the flat (permit only except on weekends) which was useful. Short Uber or bus to Brighton beach and some nice local pubs a walking distance away. Airhost were helpful with swapping from a previous Airbnb to this one.
