All went absolutely smoothly. House was exactly as described. Location in Kemptown was fantastic, plenty of places to go just round the corner, and 10 minute walk to the centre of brighton. However, as it is in a mews there was no through traffic so it was wonderfully quiet at night. Having the car parking space was very handy indeed in a city where parking is a nightmare. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely peaceful location, stones throw from the lido and beach but tucked away and quite. Parking outside the door a huge bonus. it's nicely done, quite small, little tired in places, cheap laminate flooring gives a bit of a hostel vibe but ideal for exploring Brighton. Price was quite expensive but quite average for Brighton. Host (letting company) was great though

Easy to say that the home is a ‘little tired’ but the fact you get a parking space, the location in between the pier and the marina, and the fact that you’re there to go out in Brighton and not stay in the home, make this a perfect airbnb!! Communication from the hosts is immediate and I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay there again!!!!

The photos of this property must be years old. The photos show somewhere fresh and clean which was not the case. We found stained cushions (dribble and blood!), mouldy bathroom, filthy oven. It’s in a great location and not expensive so if you are looking for somewhere to just put your head down (bed sheets appeared clean) it may work for you but it wasn’t somewhere I wanted to spend time in with my children. Airhost don’t maintain the property but they were super helpful when I phoned/messaged to complain. So I thank them, but the owner needs to look at having this place completely redecorated and cleaned again.

First thing to say is that the location is amazing. The house itself is fine. The communication was very good. We had a lovely time. My issue is that this was clearly a property run by an agency. There was no thought or care or attention to the place, from our persepctive. It looked and felt tired and a bit sad. We made the best of it, and all enjoyed our time immensly. We couldn't have got a better location! But I will certainly think twice about renting from an agency again. It's the second time in Brighton and both have been the same – perfectly 'ok' but not the extra thought or care that we've got from home owners.

Firstly, let me start off by saying that the location is great, the house was clean and it was a bonus having a private parking spot. However, I didn't feel it was the right property for my family of 4. Although everyone had their own bedroom and we all slept pretty well (as it's a quiet location), the layout wasn't great. The communal area is poor - there is only one sofa which seats three at a push and the downstairs is generally dingy and fusty smelling - we just didn't want to sit in it at all. The decor is decidedly dodgy (although, to be fair, I did realise this when I booked) and the furniture is a bit shabby in places. The property is generally needing a bit of TLC - mouldy grouting in the bathroom, the corners of the windows had black mould, the blind in the top floor bedroom a bit broken to name a few. This property would probably suit a large group like a stag or hen group, although the fact that there is only one bathroom and one toilet might be a little problematic.

This is a very comfortable place for 3 people. Although the house has beds that can sleep 9, the sofa is in the open plan room that has a kitchen and dining room and can only seat 3 people comfortably. Also there is only one toilet and shower so if every bed was used that would be one very busy bathroom! We were a party of 4 adults so one of us had to sit on a hard plastic chair when relaxing in the afternoon or evening. That’s ok if you plan on partying in town a lot but if you want chill time in the house then consider the seating. Other than this we had a lovely time

The host was very responsive when we couldn’t get the heating to work. The shower was blocked with limescale however and the pressure was really poor so we used the local swimming pool to be able to use their showers. Great location and good sized bedrooms which comfy beds and location was good.

A very fun weekend in Brighton! The flat is very spacious for 6 people and a close walk to the beach. Easy access to downtown, cafes, shops, and other fun attractions. You may want to bring some extra toilet paper for the trip because they only provide 2 rolls, but otherwise the flat was clean, spacious, and perfect for our weekend. Communication was quick and efficient and the check-in and out process was simple. I would recommend for anyone looking for a weekend away with a large group.

Apartment was ok, beds were nice. Washing machine was broken and put the water on the floor and we used towels to dry the floor becouse all the kitchen floor was wet. We got some new towels 5 days later but not for all the guests and we weren’t able to wash clothes or towels during our stay. Customer Service could have been better, things happen but forexample new towels should have been delivered and offered and delivered as soon as possible. Wouldn’t go again. Things happen but the way things are solved and handled matters a lot.

Not a terrible stay all told, but various things made it not particularly nice: Sewage type water pouring out of the front door step. Honest. Stank. Too small for 7 people Only one bathroom God awful decoration (a minor point lol but worth noting) noisy Laminate floors Most rooms need a much more thorough clean due to general build up of dust, black mould and dirt Cheap bedding and towels Boiling hot upper floor! Two toilet rolls for seven people for four days. We told them and they gave us 2 more. Bless their souls. So much noise! The toilet extractor fan sounds like a Messerschmitt and doesn’t turn off. Creaking pipes. Banging pipes. Wafer thin walls and floors. Now, all that said, it was perfectly liveable. However, it’s just not what you would hope for from Airbnb. You’re not getting a little slice of Brighton, you’re getting some private company who don’t give a figs haircut about anything except your money. Peace out.

Great location with extremely accommodating hosts and lots of good swift communication. One bathroom is woefully inadequate and the toilet is separate to the bathroom with a shower that amounted to a trickle. Property is very average for the price it’s being rented out at and probably overpriced.

Found it expensive for what it was and expected better based on the price paid. Fixtures/fittings basic, pillows, bedding thin and basic, mattress very thin, didn't sleep well. One house toilet, fan very noisy. One bathroom with shower over bath, shower produces only very fine mist. Main room/dining area not comfortable to sit around in as a family. Place was clean enough to stay but not professionally cleaned or deep cleaned. Property is fine at the right rate, but our family would have been better off in other accommodation.

The positives : Great location for exploring Brighton. Bus stop at bottom of the road and easy walking distance to marina or town both around 15 min. Always got prompt and efficient reply from the managing company when I contacted them. Ample kitchen for self catering and pretty well stocked with equipment including washing machine and dishwasher. Cul de sac parking for one vehicle included. The not so positives: The decor is tired and in need of updating - paint scuffed, floor chipped, damaged flat pack furniture etc and unfortunately this is the case throughout the property. Beds not comfy at all for adults - kids rooms are tiny. Shower is over bath in only bathroom in house (separate toilet) and is a fine mist at best. Took ages for hair wash as flow so bad. A shame given the potential of the property. For the price we paid we could have got better.

The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, very well positioned and communication with Jessica was very good. I would say that the photos and reality didn't entirely match, in that the place was looking a little tired and could do with a bit of TLC. The shower was little more than a trickle, which was not ideal. I fed this back, the owner came to look but apparently, it was normal. I didn't but maybe should have fed back that the dryer element of the washer dryer didn't work, plus the machine needed a good clean. To end on a positive, we enjoyed ourselves, it took us a day or so to feel at home, but we did relax into it. I possibly would return but only if the shower were fixed.

Location of the place was great as it was a short walk to the pier and everything in and around Brighton (shops restaurants etc). House was ideal with all the amenities suitable for a group of 7 guests and enjoyed our experience in Brighton. Good Stay and enjoyed our couple of nights in Brighton, would definitely do it again.

The design of the house was modern. Lovely lemon colours and lovely prints of Brighton . Excellent location for the beach and a short walk to shops and sights We had a few issues with out side the property but they were dealt with promptly. The dishwasher broke and it was replaced with a new one a few days later. The three setter was not big enough for all 5 of us but there was lot of dining room chairs and a lovely big dining room table. Excellent location for everything.

I can’t recommend this property unfortunately. The property was unclean when we arrived. There were dog hairs all over the sofa in the living room and the mat in the hallway, and the downstairs generally had a strong smell of wet dog hair. We found some large stains on the bed linen in the top bedroom, as well as someone's underwear on the radiator! The toilet was also unclean. All of this made for a rather unpleasant first night’s stay. The host did arrange for a cleaner to return to the property on our second day, which improved the situation, but even after the second clean we felt the property was well below the levels of cleanliness we have encountered at other Airbnb properties. Putting cleanliness to one side, the property is quite tired and could do with some updating. For example, the laminate flooring in the kitchen is well past its best and the bathroom could do with updating. I certainly wouldn't describe the property as modern or stylish, which is the description provided in the listing. It is also worth bearing in mind that the living area is small. It was just about big enough for our family (two adults and three young children) but it wasn't particularly comfortable and larger groups may find the space a bit tight. On the positive side, the location is good (a few minutes walk to the beach) and the car parking space is a bonus. Those positives were however outweighed by the negatives noted above, and we generally felt that the property was poor value for money.

Great location and had all the amenities as a large family that we needed. The property is a short walk to the pier and a stones throw from the beach and with the added benefit of a parking space right outside the property. The check in and communication from the Host was spot on and the bedrooms were very stylish and the beddings and towels waiting for us was much needed.

The house is very stylish and cosy. The location is great: tucked in away from the main road for piece and quite but short walking distance to the sea front. The check in, communication from the Airhost and crisp, white beddings waiting for us were great. Small house additions were appreciated, e.g. cling film, pans and pots, chipping boards, washing tables, bin liners, etc. I would definitely recommend it and go back in the future.

The spot is perfectly located access to buses and shops and restaurant and a short walk to the center of town. We stayed there with a family of seven and had plenty of room. The one bathroom was not a problem in that it is divided into a water closet with a separate shower room. Also the hosts were easily contacted and responded very quickly.

The location of the property is very good, a comfortable 12 minute walk from the pier and a further 5-10 minutes to the town centre. Also plenty of eateries and pubs close by in Kemptown, including a fantastic bakery. Bus stop on the seafront very close with very frequent service. Being able to park outside the property is unusual and helpful (though the notes in the information folder do state that it’s an informal arrangement and not enforceable if someone else parks there). The property is somewhat let down by lack of comfort. Beds all have very soft, unsupportive mattresses and the lounge / dining area has only one quite small settee. So not really conducive to spending lots of time there, but if you only want a base to explore the town it’s pretty good.

The house is in a fantastic location not far from the sea. The house was ideal for us as two families with three young children and we had plenty of space. The house is clean and there good cooking facilities etc. We had excellent customer service and they checked regularly that everything was ok

Fantastic location for the beach and the pier. House was mostly very clean and tidy. It’s quite cosy which was fine for a close group of girl friends, but worth bearing in mind that there’s only one loo. The house could do with a little upgrading around the edges but otherwise it was great for us, communication and information was fantastic and we felt really well looked after by our hosts.

My family and I were at Brighton to attend my brother’s graduation. My brother while a resident at the university left behind a photo and frame he bought while travelling Europe during his student days. He left that with his friend who was still a resident at Brighton. He took the photo from his friend’s house and brought to the Airbnb so he could bring it home to Toronto. Due to luggage limitations he decided to remove the photo and leave the frame behind. We then rushed out to catch the taxi and forgot to throw out the empty frame. We got a message from the host that said we stole their photo and they want another $200 for it. What the heck. This place is a fraud. Uncool to accuse a family of seven who travelled all the way from Canada to steal a $10 photo and left the evidence that ‘we stole’ the picture so that they could fine us! I have asked the host to check their displays in the house to see what’s missing and doesn’t seem they follow my instructions and try to collect more money from me. I liked the fact that the host was so responsive to me before I got there and I was sure I will have a good time when in Brighton but the host turned the experience for me from good to nightmare by accusing us of being thieves and ruining their sofa. I would recommend anyone if you want to stay at this place before you get in take picture of everything in the house and then do the same after you check out to avoid getting yourself in the same situation as this host put me and my family.

What a lovely, cosy and clean home. Spacious rooms, and comfy beds! However, as they say, only 1 (rather small) bathroom. Great large kitchen, however the living space though fits 8, was in our opinion too tight for 5 adults and 1 child. Ideal location : 2min to the beach, 10min to the Brighton pier, local cafe and shops around the corner.

Ok this is what I experienced and you can expect: Only 1 toilet/bathroom which was a problem when trying to all get ready to go out for dinner. Park space was being used by previous occupants until 6:30pm which was not ok as no where to park and they were blocking half the entrance to the property with their van so had to leave the buggy’s in the street. Airhost for you NEVER answered the phone when you call them, they just send messages which takes time to get a response and really irritated me to be honest so wouldn’t book again with them. Property was more expensive than other around and booked it purely for location and allocated parking, which in retrospect was pointless as had to pay to park somewhere else. Parking in Brighton is expensive. My advice to anyone reading is to go with a hotel who have parking, further outside of town. It’s cheaper so your better off spending the savings on taxis, you will be able to speak to someone immediately if their are any issues, you will have at least 1 bathroom between 2 plus and check in at 4 is actually ridiculous. Checking in at 4, then trying to all get ready with 1 bathroom was beyond stressful. Oh and half the bedrooms door did not close. I felt the service from airhost for you was poor, all my other stays have been average to outstanding. Not being able to get through to someone when paying over £300 is actually a disgrace. Im going to report this to Airbnb also.

We stayed in the house as we were working in Brighton and the place was clean and a really nice little house in the heart of Brighton. Great locations for needing to get anywhere, it is all within walking distance. So handy to have a parking space out the front as well. Its just set back from the seafront to wasn't too noisy at all. If you are staying in the house for the full capacity of about 8 people (which we did) definitely spread your showers out because if all 8 of you shower in the evening its freezing cold water by the last few people as its not an electric shower. Also if you are going to be cooking for yourself please note there are no large pots or pans to be able to cook quantities of food you would need for 8 people, we had to do a couple of sittings in the evenings. But it was lovely, and there is a little courtyard at the back, and the check in with the key box was so easy and simple. All communication was replied to very quickly :)

The house is great value, walking distance to the pier, right on the beach and close to local amenity shops. The host was helpful, although a couple of issues they couldn't be fixed during our stay. They have noted them so hopefully everything will work in the future. The living room is small but we comfortably fit eight people. The parking space is very useful as parking is very expensive and restricted close to the beach. Although there's only one bathroom the shower room and toilet room are separate which helpful for the large group. Generally very good.

Lovely place, little smaller than expected. 4 of us there was fine but 11 would be very crowded! Netflix logged in ready to use which was nice and basics like tea, coffee and sugar were provided. Toiletries provided in the bathroom too. Sea is two minutes walk away, Brighton centre about 10/15 minutes walk. All in all we were very happy and would definitely use again. Thanks!

Airhost were good in every aspect. My issue was with the property itself. The fact that it is incredibly small (for the number it sleeps) with little living space and only one toilet and shower. I felt that the listing was unclear and that it really wasn’t worth the amount we paid. The amount of beds far outweighed the facilities. For two families of 4, it was incredibly tight, nowhere to unpack everything, sit comfortably etc. The property sleeps 8 in four bedrooms plus there’s space to sleep another 2 on a sofa bed. So it’s perfect if you want 1 night and all you’re going to do is sleep. If you are going for a longer period and want to be social, I wouldn’t pick this property. It seats 8 cosily around the dining table and 3 good friends on the sofa! No room for anything else. We had a good time but couldn’t really sit round as two families socially. And one toilet/shower between potentially 10 of you means you have to be very close friends and have a rota!
