This was a great Airbnb. We spent a weekend there in a four and it was a really nice size, with everything we needed. Having two bathrooms was really handy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The communal space was really nice and comfortable too. The living room doesn’t have a huge amount of natural light given it is a basement flat, but that didn’t bother us as we were out most of the day and were there in late October. The host was great and really easy to communicate with and very responsive. We really liked the location too - the road itself is quiet but is near St James Road which has lots of cafes, shops and bars. It’s also not far at all from the Laines and the seafront is just at the end of the road. Would recommend!

Great lgf flat, only thing that stops a 5 star is no parking and very steep steps for access, both of which are in the property description. short walk from the start of shops and cafe, we went in school half term and parked at the seafront Madeira carpark with loads of spaces and less than 10mins, possibly 5mins if you get a close space. Lanes just over 10mins and 20 to the shopping centre.

Great location and great house. only thing I think should be changed is the coffee maker, it's a Nespresso that takes the Vertuo pods, these are not available at any local grocery stores that we found, we ran out of coffee 10 days into our stay. a regular coffee pot would be great.

Really spacious apartment. Two huge bedrooms and two good size bathrooms. Location was great as there was easy access to public transport, but also very easy to walk to and from centre of town and beach. Apartment was clean and in good condition. We went with a two year old and there was plenty of space for him. Only downside was that we couldn’t check in until 4pm.

Instructions were very clear and the host company very responsive. The place was very spacious and bright given it is a lower ground unit. It did however have quite a musty and damp smell/feeling. Given the proximity to the sea this might be expected, and they had a number of air fresheners/dehumidifier boxes out so seem to be trying to address the problem. Aside from that it was a lovely stay - 5 min walk to the beach, and 20 min walk from the train station or the laines.

Absolutely wonderful apartment. Intro to visit Brighton twice a year and love Kemptown, this was the nicest place I‘ve stayed in. The downstairs flat of a beautiful house, peaceful yet extremely close to the beach and lots of cafes, restaurants, etc. not far to walk to the centre and the pier. The beds were super comfortable & everything was lovely a clean. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! It was eleven out of ten, easy 😉

It is exactly as advertised: a peaceful haven of quiet and serentiy; nestled within walking distance to all the big attractions in Brighton: Queens park, Brighton Pier, Brighton high street and the Palace. The beds are like hotel beds, nice bath and shower; and everything you need is there. Very responsive and super friendly hosts. Loved it, thanks a million.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the space and decor are beautiful and the location is very convenient. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking. The only drawback was that a lot of corners were dusty or had cobwebs, and some dishes in the kitchen were dusty as well. I had to clean the house myself before other guests arrived so that was quite tedious.

This apartment is beautiful, much more spacious than we expected. Fab location - short walk to beach, shops in Kemptown etc, a slightly longer walk into town but totally doable. Apartment was clean & beautifully presented. The host let us check in a little earlier as we arrived early which was amazing of her at short notice. We will definitely use this apartment again. Recommend the local Indian restaurant the Bayleaf for food too!

We had a great stay! Great location: home is 3 min from the sea, and 10 min from the center on foot. The accommodation is very quiet. It is in the basement so there is little light in the living room but with access to the patio it is very good. The kitchen is very well equipped. Nice decoration. Dogs allowed! The sofa bed is just a little small for 2 people.

First the good points. Great location and lovely comfortable apartment. Nicely decorated, and lovely and clean (although see the negative). Close to town and lovely bars and restaurants. Apartment was just as per the photos and description. Negatives. This would have been 5 stars had it not been for the smelly non working fridge. We reported the smell when we arrived and asked if anyone could come out to sort the fridge and supply air fresheners, someone came within a couple of hours to take a look and said they’d be back to sort it the following morning but didn’t come (the fridge still didn't work and they hadn’t done anything to mask the smell). We couldn’t use the fridge so stored milk in the courtyard. It scuppered our plans to stay in on Sunday night as wanted to cook but couldn’t store the food. Only other downside is we couldn’t find a thermostat to turn up the heating We would return though if there was a working fridge.

Very clean modern apartment in an excellent position. The bedrooms were a good size, and the kitchen was well appointed. There were 5 adults staying, so we needed to use the sofa bed. Unfortunately, this was extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing. If you're looking for an apartment for 4 people, this is ideal, but it's not suitable for 5.

We are three good friends from Canada on our third trip to the the UK, this time to explore the south east. This lodging was by far the best of all the places we’ve stayed on previous vacations. We commented numerous times on how much we loved this place. It was always a pleasure to come “home”. It is one of the most gracious homes in the neighbourhood that has been lovingly and completely renewed. How fortunate are we all that the hosts share it with Airbnb.

A fantastic place to stay, 2 minutes walk from the sea front! The apartment was spacious, with everything you could need. 2 large double rooms fitted our requirements perfectly. Two decent shower rooms also meant ease of getting ready was not stressful. Good comms means arriving was simple. Parking would be tricky as it's on-street only, and very busy, we used a secure parking service 15 to 20 minutes walk away. Steps down to the property 'could' prove tricky if you have mobility issues, but wasn'tan issue for us.

Really nice place to stay. The flat was as advertised, clean and cozy. The hosts were always friendly and available for any questions. The area was nice as well, with lots of places to eat and drink nearby, but not noisy on the street at night. Really enjoyed our week here and would happily stay again.

Had a lovely few days at this flat. Clean and spacious with extremely comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. Loved the little courtyard area just off the lounge. Location was ideal - quiet and away from the main buzz but also very close to the beach and just a 10 minute stroll back to the pier or shopping centre.

I recommend it. This is a very nice apartment. It has everything you need. Two steps from Paseo Maritimo and downtown. Quiet area. It has commerce, restaurants and bars within a 3-minute walk. If you go by car, I recommend looking at parking options in advance.

This place suited our needs to a tee, close to the beach and attractions with many local amenities on hand. There is no onsite parking but we parked at Buzz Bingo which is a 10 minute walk. Would stay here again and recommend to others.

A great spot in the heart of Kemptown in easy walking distance from the pier and the shops in town. Check in and out was super easy and the flat was very spacious. Only slight drawback is a bit of a smell in one of the bathrooms from the shower drain that was a little overpowering. However, the rest of the flat was spotless.

Excellent location as it was very close to the seafront and the Lanes. Accommodation was spacious, freshly decorated, bright and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and it was good to have an en suite in one of the rooms. Communication excellent and access very easy. Unfortunately, the sofa bed which my son used was very uncomfortable. Some of the wooden slats were loose and he had to keep pushing the bed together through the night as the slats separated at shoulder/ head level causing an uncomfortable gap. We used the little outside area to let our dog out . Unfortunately, the outside table top and chairs were dirty.

The location was perfect for us and central to everywhere- beach, pier, restaurants and shops. Enjoyed 2 nights, 5 of us. Ideal location, close to restaurants, beach, bars and shops. Flat was clean and well equipped. The only issue was there were no oven gloves, and the tea towel was very thin when removing hot items from the oven. Otherwise a very comfortable stay, would happily recommend to anyone.

Coastal flat, Kemptown with 2 rooms with King size beds and 2 shower/bathrooms. Lovely location and attached to the family home. Kitchen well equipped and lots of extras such as Nespresso coffee machine with plenty of pods, tea, coffee etc etc. As this is a beautiful period property and boasting the original sash windows sound insulation was not perfect. Seagulls were very chatty in the morning and noise did carry from the house upstairs however, it was more than bearable. Such a reasonable price for location and space. Well worth a visit.

We had a great stay at this apartment. It is spacious, light (despite being a lower ground floor flat!), lovely decorated, and perfect walking distance to the centre and beach/pier, without any noise of nightlife. If you need parking but don’t need your car very often, we found the Asda carpark at Brighton Marina through justpark a great and cheapest option. It’s half an hour stroll along the beachfront to get there. We definitely recommend this accommodation and would be booking it again in future. Hosts are very helpful too. Thanks! 😊

Enjoyed our stay at this apartment. We're two friends and had a bedroom and bathroom each. Only really used the kitchen to make breakfast and hot drinks but it's well equipped with the usual "white goods" including a washing machine and dishwasher. There are a couple of "corner shops" at each end of the road for essential supplies. And you can see the sea at the bottom of the road. Beds were comfy and we took advantage of the free luggage storage offered by Airhost for You. Their office is only 5 minutes walk from Brighton Station so we dropped our cases off there when we arrived and collected them later as we booked a taxi down to the apartment. Did the same on the day we left. Otherwise we walked everywhere. Our only minor niggle was trying to get the lockbox open and closed but the office soon sorted that out for us so it wouldn't put us off booking again. The apartment was great value for our stay.

Great place and location, bigger than it looks, very clean and well appointed. AirHost communication is clear and timely and check in and check out is smooth. The beach is a couple of minutes away and there are shops nearby and the main centre is 10 min walk. There is a coffee machine which requires Nespresso Virtuo pods that we could not find anywhere to purchase, so felt a bit guilty using the ones that were left for us initially and then not being able to replace them. Overall, a great place to stay and ideal for visiting Brighton-would recommend.

We absolutely loved the apartment. It was well equipped and well appointed with comfortable beds and living area. The flat was quiet and peaceful despite it being on a main road. The location is excellent, half way through Kemptown and just 5 minutes down to the sea. Access to the flat was easy although communication was a little impersonal. All in all an excellent place and would definitely return.

We were 5 friends on a weekend break, and we would all highly recommend this lovely 2 bedroom apartment within walking distance of all that Brighton has to offer. The apartment was as described, the photos whilst accurate, don't do it justice. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable and a pleasure to stay there. Everything had been thought of. We had a very minor technical issue with the heating, but this was dealt with straight away. Communication with the host, Jessica, was second to none. She was extremely responsive and friendly, and she genuinely cared that all was well with the apartment and that all instructions were easy to follow. A luggage storage service is provided, when we arrived at the store to leave our luggage, our apartment was ready and we were helped by the really friendly manager (sorry, we can't remember your name), but we would like to say a huge thank you for welcoming us to Brighton and your help.

Perfect location, near the beach and Brighton Pier and a short walk to Center. Apartment was clean and surprisingly bright and spacious. We had everything we needed, two bathrooms and big bedrooms. We used the sofa bed also and everyone had enough room. The hosts, mostly Jessica, were super nice and reachable and we had no complications to find the apartment or to get in because of the very thorough informations we got from them. Overall we had a great time and wil for sure stay there again if we ever come to Brighton again.

Beautiful house, clean , new , sophisticated ! All as described ! All new white furniture,it felt like it was in my house ! No noise, on the sea street, you walk out the door and see the beautiful sea! Wonderful amphitryons with quick response and lots of help ! There's even an umbrella at the driveway if you need it! 10 out of 10 ! I recommend with eyes closed ! I'd stay there again for a month !

Lovely place. Communication with host was excellent. Sofa bed provided option for 3 separate sleeping areas which we needed. Location was perfect for walking to everything we needed: seafront, city centre, and public transit. Very clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The location of the flat is good and the beach, shops & restaurants and even city centre are in walking distance. However, improvement of cleaning is needed. It's smelly outside the front yard of the window of the master room and main door. And many drain flies and mosquitoes were there. So, we couldn't open any windows during our stay otherwise such insects would fly in. Thus, we could only open the door of the central yard a bit. Unfortunately, the insects could still fly in. And the ventilation was not satisfaction.

Spotlessly clean. Recently refurbished, I would guess, so in 5* condition. 2 large bedrooms with good quality, comfortable double (king?) beds and bedding. Bathrooms absolutely fine and also looked new.. Well equipped kitchen with induction hob and state of the art Nespresso machine (+ a box of capsules). Living room needed airing but was fine with dining table etc.... The hosts were also very attentive and helpful and communication was excellent and helpful. Location perfect. Only issue is that as a lower ground floor flat, geting a flow of air throught the apartment is difficult - perhaps a couple of quality fans for warmer evenings? A really nice apartment; well run with professional hosts.
